Its pretty easy to get your first karma arrow. Just post in the forums a bit. Maybe submit a few teasers. Rate some things.
You don't have to do all of these, but these are just ways to get karma
I'm running out of Dancing Bananas. |

Hi pianochick! There is really no set formula for earning good karma. The more active on the site you are, the faster you will get your first good karma tick. As Omaha said, posting in the forums, reading and rating teasers, and taking some quizzes will help you stay active. Good luck and enjoy working toward your first karma!

It's really just that easy!? I was reading the FAQ for it, and trying to figure it out, but I could not. Then I notice I have one, and I could not figure out what I did to get it.
Since this is on the same topic, can you lose karma by not being active? ~locks karma point in safe~ O.o

Try submitting a quiz! It took me a couple weeks to get my first arrow.

Yah, you should be able to submit a quiz under trivia. Although, for teasers, "You must be a member for at least 5 days and have at least 250 points before you can submit a brain teaser." This is sad to me, because the teasers are the ones I'm good at, not making the quizzes.

I have 3 arrows. I think my first two were for quizzes. My third one just appeared.

I have done all of the above except enter teasers (I am better at the quizes) and I still only have two arrows. I want the third so badly. I am very active though, so I have hope. The first two are easy to get, just stay active and participate in many areas of the site.

So, you need about 92 points. You can get points by rating quizzes or teasers (1 point each), or you can take the Braingle IQ Test where you will get the amount of points that you score (i.e. if your IQ is scored to be 100, you'll get 100 points).

PaintballMan, you do earn good karma by being active in the forums, but not by double (or multi) posting. Those posts are considered spam and will only earn you bad karma. All you have to do is be active in discussions or whatever topics you find interesting, and the good karma will suddenly appear. Mod froggy
