Let me start by saying. I hope you all try your best and have fun doing so. I hope every gets a vote in and we get a perfect 20/20 voting round(not important just something I have never seen and would like to achieve).
Thats about it for now. Good luck.
No humans or wolves were shot in the making of this message.

Glad to see the game has started since we've got a fantastic group of people here! And glad I spontaneously decided to check Braingle one last time before heading off to bed... but since my sleep-craving brain isn't quite functioning at the moment, I think I'll go back to my original plan and call it a night.

I'm also glad to see we've started. Since it's late and we have plenty of time to vote, I'm going to call it a night and check back in tomorrow morning.
Nite all.

Yeah. Glad we've started. This should certainly be an interesting game. I don't think I've played with "Mr. Peanut" before.
Now, since we've just begun and have little to go on ... I'm going to begin a brutal campaign to shoot someone as soon as possible. No, just kidding. I'll withhold my vote and hope that suspicious behaviour will help shed some light. I'll post once I hear a faint howl in the distance.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

Here we go!
Even though there are no prompts/clues... LR FOR WOLF.
Naw, I joke, I joke.
Let's see who pops up in the next 24 hours, then I'll be deciding my vote for the round.
Try not to create a majority with more than 9 votes on a person, so we don't prematurely make a majority in case seer doesn't get in because the humans ended the round.
So if you see a majority, and it's definite, just vote someone else who doesn't have a vote, to help out the seer.

Well it seems in round 0 alone we have come up with about a dozen suspects for just four positions... Good going, team!
GA, I hardly think we're in danger of an overwhelming majority in the opening round! But yes, it's good to provide cover for the seer, so I would suggest spreading votes around any inactives we may have - unless someone decides to take the unlikely step of exposing themselves as a wolf in the first round... Obviously it's far too early to vote yet.
Looking forward to receiving an opening round vote from either Hadleigh or Snowy.

Hi everyone! Yes, LR, I haven't played this or WTB for Idk how long... GreenApples harrassed me mercilessly until I had to agree for my sanity! (just kidding!)
So, I voted for ppjones, because my psychic powers indicated that I should. Of course, sometimes my powers haven't had their vitamins, so beyond pyschic powers, I have no reason at all to suspect ppjones. I just wanted to get a vote in, get some stuff started, and see what happened.
I'm not a wolf so don't shoot me, or I won't play no more!
Life... can be so many things... how can anyone ever think they are RIGHT? HAhahahahahahaha!!!!!

Morning everybody. The game is afoot. Too early for the old brain to be alert, and so far nobody seems suspicious. I'll check in later on.

Yay! The game has started. Shawneeo, what a wonderful surprise! I'm looking forward to a fun game. I agree that if there are inactives, they should get the first votes, unless one (or more) of you crafty wolves want to raise your hands so we have a clear target.

Hi guys! We've got plenty of time to vote, but I think I read somewhere that I should vote for Smithy. . . . . .It was either in the last book I read or the newspaper. IDK, maybe the internet. But I probably will vote for this guy. . . . .

Yay, the game started! Well this a great way to start the morning!
I'm gonna go take a shower, down a Coke, and wake up. Be back shortly.

Paladin, are you intentionally starting a majority?
Seems a bit strange that we have a majority of sorts formed this early in the game, especially without a proper reason, but I'm assuming you just didn't notice Lance's vote for Shawneeo, seeing as how he didn't state it in the discussion.
EDIT: Voting for Snowy for seer protection and pre-venge.

Wow! Lot's of random votes with no real reason except to protect our Seer. I'm still not ready to toss out a vote as I want to just watch the posts for a while yet. There are still over 30+ hours left to vote, so I'll be back later today.

Changing my vote to frogger to avoid an early majority. Good to see everyone Lots of familiar faces here!
"The greatest cause of unhappiness in the world today is trading what we want most for what we want now."

I'm going to eventually vote to protect the seer, but since so far it seems we're just going to have a MoO party, there isn't a rush to find my musical chair. It also intrigues me, Froggy, that there have been a lot of fish votes in such a small time frame. I guess everyone just wants to make sure to vote? Haha. This isn't WTB guys. You don't have to vote yet! But I guess some of us could be searching for reactions from others?
I'm a bit, hypocritically, suspicious of Froggy, simply because right now I get an instinct that her hesitance to vote may be to try and seem human. But I couldn't vote for her without definitely getting her shot, so I'll just keep looking.
And just on a side note: I've never liked voting for inactives. I've always thought an active wolf is more dangerous.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

I agree with you rog... I always thought that voting for inactives simply because they are inactive was a bad move, but to avoid doing so would seem to encourage wolves to be quiet, which is not good either.

I voted early just to get it out of the way. I know I don't have to vote at all, but some view not voting/posting as being inactive, and there's enough players around (not necessarily in this game) that will shoot someone that remotely seams inactive. Plus. . . . . . I had to vote for Smithy, so I did it before anyone else did.

Just finished a game with 14 inactives, and two were wolves. Round after round timed out. Not much fun for anyone. That's the main reason why I said inactives should get the first votes, and since we all need to vote to protect the Seer, why not eliminate inactives first?

IDK, but I think, for me, it's best to go on a one by one basis, and determine whether the inactive is worth leaving in the game or not. If it's a seasoned player that has a good rep, then something's come up - and they usually get back to the game asap. For newbies, it's hard to tell. So, I've been inclined to give some the benefit of the doubt and others not. Based on whether I know them or not.

LR, I'm always hesitant to vote in the first/early rounds unless we have something to base a vote on. All you have to do is check out a few Reunion games and you will see how I usually wait until the end of the earlier rounds to vote like a few of us do. I also do not like seeing votes so scattered around just to vote and letting the computer make the choice unless there is no other option or my vote would break up an existing tie. It just doesn't seem fun to know that the computer is making our choice for us and an innocent Human will probably pay the price...
We still have 29 hours to vote, so I'm going to wait a little longer.

This game has certainly generated plenty of discussion and voting alike already - a pleasant surprise, of course! Anyway, in the interest of promoting high voter turnout (much more easily achieved than in real life) per Stewie's implicit request and contributing the providing protection for our Seer, I will cast my vote for LogicalRoger, the only logic (for lack of a better word... or reason, if you prefer) being that he was the first name reading up the player list who had not yet received any votes.

So we have all MoO, let's see if the game can get a wolf as it randomly takes a pot shot I hope it doesn't hit the seer as that would be very sad.

Well since I caught this game just as it was beginning and left a spot for Stewie, I too am going to try to go MoO by voting for someone who has yet to receive a vote, so Auntiesis you have my vote. It is wonderful to see so many active and awake. Would like to see Stewie's wish come true and get a 100% vote in on this first round.
EDIT: Sorry folks, the old lady forgot who she voted for so I had to go back and look. Catmandon has yet to vote or have anyone vote for him. Mr. Jones also has yet to vote. Lance and Deb both have voted, but no one has voted for them. So that appears like I have left someone out. It's late and I'm confused. We still have about 20 hours before all the time runs out. It seems a sure cinch (oooo, there is one of them nasty cowboy words) that we aren't going to get 11 votes for anyone. Well, I'm gonna send a personal smoke signal to my daughter up there on the ranch, check a couple more places and then I'm gonna go lift the flap and hit the sack. That be Indian talk for going to bed. Night all.

Well, in order to protect the seer - oops, I mean in order to guarantee Stewie's dream - oops, I mean in order to be a good American, I'll zombie up and cast a vote for one of the few non-candidates left. My vote goes to Neko-Senpai (Catmandon) simply because this game ain't big enough for two cats! No, but seriously, fish-vote.
Let's see if the 1 in 5 chance is as reliable as it seems. At least we'll hopefully learn some things from the night. I'll still check back to see what happens between now and night and see if there is anything better to do.
Note: For those who haven't voted, the members without targets on their heads are: Debc1 and Lancekolaski. (which has already been mentioned by Vlerma, but I love to repeat things, so there it is again, bolded)
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

I was one of the 2 active wolves Bobbie talked about in that 14 inactives game. I stood alone in the end and took home a win for the wolves. But I'll tell you it did not feel like a honest win. I was so sad at the games activity I eat inactive after inactive even as other inactives were shot. Seamed to me ever human eaten was at my vote. I was so alone. Bobbie and sis were the only truly active players. I posted that game in my wiki because I love tipsy games, it went 11 rounds and I was last one standing. But mostly to remind myself (and others) how much inactives suck. I never want to do that again. If it weren't for tipsy I would have gotten myself shot just to leave the game.
So ON that you will always see me shoot an inactive first round and chance my vote to suit as the round goes on. Glad to say it looks like all are active so far. No doubt with this crew. Maybe the 2 day days are just what we need for an active game. Now we can sit around the fire sing song and chew the wolfie fat ..................

Wow, we only need ppjones to vote, and then we'll have a full 20-for-20!! PP, where are you?!! We need you!
Dear God, That which I am about to do is really stupid. I hope I come out of this alive. Thanks God. Peace Out. (Stage Crew Prayer)

Everytime something like this happens, PP dies.

Great, now that everyone's voted, what's our plan to catch the wolves?
Well whoever gets shot, sorry to see you go. Unless you're a wolf of course. Then that'd be lucky.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

*sends out "target a wolfie" vibes to the random number generator* how sweet would that be to get one first round?

Yahoo... 20/20 awsome. Thanks guys.
This is one of those very rare moments to admire all the actives. What we have done here will never be beaten. Sure it could be matched but never beaten.
Thanks again everyone.
Now who will the computer choose to shoot???
Stewie.

Anyway, given the current settled MoO there really isn't much to talk about in terms of this game... but there's been talk about shooting for inactives which I feel the need to comment on. Simplifying somewhat, everyone can be divided into four groups - active wolves, active humans, inactive wolves and inactive humans. If you shoot an active you are either shooting a wolf or a useful human. If you shoot an inactive you are either shooting a wolf or a useless human. So I guess purely in gameplay terms I would see it as the same reward but with less risk. (I disagree, Roger, with the idea that active wolves are more dangerous thus more desirable to catch.) Plus wolves are more likely to "lay low" intentionally, so you actually might have more chance of getting a wolf shooting an inactive than an active. Finally. as others have said, inactives ruin the game from a "having fun" perspective - I would much rather lose a fun game than win a dull one. Given that all twenty people have voted (something I have never seen before!), all of this is of course completely irrelevant to this game... so I will shut up now.

Ok, I'm tired of the voices in my head telling me to vote for Smithy. I"m doing it now. Maybe then, I'll get some peace of mind. . .. . just can't stand to hear little whispers saying . . . . .. vote for Smithy vote for Smithy vote for Smithy. . . . . .

I have PMed friends in other games to come look at our voting.
Noone has ever seen a fully active game with no two people voting for the same person...
The early bird gets the worm, but the second rat gets the cheese..

Except we will be minus one active human and either an active wolf or a second active human.
What kind of chocolate do you have, Deb?

Everyone knows you are always a wolf, GA, that's why I couldn't believe no one had already voted for you.

Only about 4 hours to find out who the game chooses.

I wonder if it'll choose 4demo again, since I see that it chooses in alphabetically order quite a bit. But this time might be different.
At least we as a group can claim to be probably the first group to ever target all four wolves in the opening round.
I think next round wild, sweeping accusations are required early on, just to get discussion going in perhaps a more useful direction!

I've also seen where it chooses the first person voted for, and one time it picked the last person alphabetically. So I'm guessing Paladin may be right and it uses some sort of random number generator. Froggy, do you know?

I'm not sure if our 20/20 MoO voting nest is any different from regular ties, but I just revisited six instances of tied votes and in all six the player with their name last alphabetically was shot. So I'd wager to bet that it's just random. Or it could be prejudiced against numbers.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

Sounds good to me.

Well...I don't like this, it's scary, I don't want any of us to be randomly picked off. *looking around the room* Somebody here wouldn't, at the last minute, change their vote....would they?

Haha, I thought about that but then I think I would be quickly targeted, especially with no other leads.
So who's gonna die??? Looks like we will know soon

Wow... 15 must be the new lucky number!
Anyway, apologies for a slightly belated notice, but I will be out of town (without Internet access) for the next three days, so I'll be temporarily inactive, and apologies about the absence itself too.

Bobbi, I think the program will just randomly choose one of those who have a vote. So, we are all standing in the line of fire. I don't think I've ever seen a game where all 20 players voted and each for someone different. This game is a first!
I agree with Lance - if someone were to change their vote at the last second, I have no doubt they would be wearing a target on their back in the next round.
Did I hear someone say they had chocolate? I love chocolate!
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

If I get eaten, I think it's safe to say I"M NOT A WOLF. . . . . . Just saying . . . . . . I want some chocolate. Butterfingers are one of my favorite. I eat all the chocolate off first, then the rest. No other way to do it.

Stewie, I am so happy for you. See the game has ten minutes and I am so happy this game is a first for not only Stewie, but all of we active players. Hooray!!! Nice job folks, Ok computer do you work and shot a wolf. I'm not one. Snow I just came from my granddaughter's last softball game of the season, they lost sad to say, but I did get a nice chocolate malt out of it. I agree, no other way to eat a butterfinger.
