Ok, I shut the door last night and this morning I have to been the first one up?
OK, Space saved for Stewie.
Thanks Vlerma. Sorry for the delay.
Thanks again for last round guys.
Anyway not suprising to see that no indian was shot last round.
Maybe this round will be different.
Stewie.

The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

No, not Shawn. I mean how many of these games has he played recently? He comes out to play and the wolves eat him. I know "fresh meat". Bad pun, sorry Shawn. Well as I am posting this the game has been up and running for 57 minutes. Or maybe I should say as of 11:54 AM it has been going
Am just going to set back for a while and twiddle my thumbs and work on the chief's bonnet. What color Eagle feathers do you want in this one, Buffalo Has Hump? No, I'm not giving you no wampum to go spend at the casino. You would just get in a fight with one of those machines, get beat up and blame it on the white man who runs the joint. You can just stay home and paint your pony!

Buffalo Has Hump? Well that's one heck of a name! Woah. Anyways, I just wanted to post before I left for work. I'll try to post later after more people have gotten on.
Dear God, That which I am about to do is really stupid. I hope I come out of this alive. Thanks God. Peace Out. (Stage Crew Prayer)

I was looking forward to playing with Shawn, you will be missed. Great to see everybody voted last round, it's a first for me. Also glad I wasn't eaten or shot. I'll be taking notes, so watch your step, ppj.
Wild accusations..... I had a dream that ppj was one of our wolves, I'm going to take a nap and see if the other ones are revealed to me.

I've been waiting and hoping that Stewie would let us know Roman's identity. I'm sure he will later, but I wonder why Cat feels so sure he was human? Makes me wonder if that was the musings of a wolf or rather an Indian!
(How's that for a wild, sweeping accusation, Smithy?)

Saturdays are extremely busy for me, and Friday nights aren't much better, so I'm going to throw out a safety vote now, and hopefully I can come back and check the posts and modify it based on what I read.
I have NO clue who is a wolf yet (still hoping Roman was one! It's possible) so randomly voting grayma, only because she was the first to post so possibly COULD be the last wolf to feed *shrugs* but mostly it's purely random.

Oh you naughty, naughty wolves, eating a player so many of us were looking forward to a rare chance to play with. Sorry to see shawneeo go, before he really got a chance to contribute much.

Where ever did you get "Mr. Buffalo Has Hump"? *giggles*...Good one Mom!
I live approximately 10 miles from a casino. Way too close, in my opinion. It's been there for 10 years now. And I say they need to put a great big barrel right outside the front doors, so people could just pull up (like a drive-through) and just drop their money in that. Well, it's an idea anyway.
Ya just can't win at that casino, people!! I'm tired of telling them!

Hi everyone!
I am SO upset shawneeo was eaten.
This is my second ever game with shawneeo, and both games he was eaten first! I encouraged him to join this game, not so he could just be eaten first.
Well, catmandon seems suspicious to me. Like he knew that Roman wold be a human. Then the fact the post was edited makes me think he saw how it looks suspicious and edited the "(figuring by odds)" part in.
So catmandon is going to receive my vote for now.
Of course, if Stewie tells us Roman was a wolf, I'd gladly change my vote

ICU, I also live about 15 miles from a casino (the Seneca Nation runs it) and believe it or not, I've never been there.( I'm not a gambler, but I understand they have an excellent restaurant and they do have some well known names for entertainment. ) What tribe runs the casino near you?
I agree, I wish those mangy, flea- bitten wolves had left Snawneeo alone and let him play with us. You bad bad wolves will have to be sure and tell us what your reasoning was once this game is over.
I am still pondering who to vote for, so I guess I'm going to wait a bit longer, see what everyone else has to say.

I'm trying to figure out who would eat Shawn? Not only from a "I respect him enough to leave him in a bit and see how he plays" standpoint, but also why they would choose him of all people to boot off. It could have easily been a random choice but why not shoot someone who's been known to take down wolves if it's random? Shawn might easily be a fantastic player, but I don't know him well enough and to me it seems an odd choice. (sorry if I offended you, Shawn; I'm certainly not the best myself, so eating me would also be an odd choice, in my opinion, even if it was relatively random). I'm assuming night didn't time out (not that it would tell us much if it did).
Catmandon's post did strike me as odd, even before GA or Bradon said anything. I'm going to plant a vote on him right now to see how things go. I do realize the wolves could be trying to draw suspicion to him, but in that case we'll have some wolves too.
If Stewie will reveal the identities, then I'll wait eagerly for them. Although I really doubt we're lucky enough for a wolf.
And about the casino business, I thought the stereotype was that the Native Americans owned the casinos.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?

Who ate Mr Peanut !! That's not fair at all. What did he do to become wolf chow.
I agree Deb, nobody is really saying "I'm a wolf please shoot me" and reading all the posts hasn't helped that much. Not too sure why GA has it in for the Cat so I'm going to wait a little before voting.

I don't know who could have done that....but, I'm afraid Shawn won't play another wolf game with us ever again. That's sad.
Bobbi, this casino I'm speaking of is run by the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. They do have good food, and so-so entertainment, although I've never been to one. What we really need up here is a Walmart. Go figure!

I was also hoping that Stewie would have let us know if Roman was a wolf or human. Hopefully he will before the round is over.
Poor Mr. P. I can't believe he was eaten in the first night when he hardly ever plays these games with us. I hope we can talk him into playing with us again.
I'm also wondering about how quickly catmandon stated that Roman was human and then went back and edited his post. This makes him look very suspicious in my eyes and will probably get my vote. I'm going to wait a little longer to see if anything else seems suspicious and for Stewie to make his post.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I knew a wolf would jump at my logic for a way to shoot another human..
I do believe that GreenApples27 is one of our wolfs.
I will vote for them now...
The logic is:
with 20 players and only 4 wolfs ,the odds of a wolf being picked are slim to none.....

catmandon - why the revenge vote?
You stated you think I am a wolf, because I jumped at your suspicious post?
This is a revenge vote, which is more suspicious than me voting you with a valid reason.
Paladin's vote for vlerma is more suspicious than my vote for you, since I have a justified reason, yet Paladin does not.
You're only voting me because I am voting you, which is completely unjustified.
You're digging yourself a hole.

Well, as for Mr. Shawnee getting eaten - when I've been a wolf, in previous games, there were players eaten that I never even voted for. Happened many times - and to me, that makes me wonder how the voting for this really plays out. Is there a majority needed within the wolf votes to eat someone or is it more of a random picking from the computer - even if all wolves vote. I've never questioned this until as a wolf, I've seen players get eaten that were never even a pick from me. Any thoughts?
I have a strange suspicion of Paladin, but can't explain it right now. Just a hunch that he's a wolf. Hmmmmm . . . . . . .

From my experience, I think it tries to pick the player with the most votes against him, and if no one has a majority I think it picks randomly. So Shawn could have easily been one wolf's last choice and could have been picked randomly if none of them agreed. I still remember the time when I was wolf and accidentally helped pick off an immune player that way. I had forgotten about immunity and wasn't exactly gunning for that person anyway, but it still happened.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
The way the computer chooses who to eat, this is the explanation:
Assuming that every wolf has voted, and no player has a definite majority of votes, the computer counts the votes it has.
When a wolf votes they get three choices. Just think of it this way.
Their first choice equals three votes.
Their second choice equals two votes.
Their third choice equals one vote.
Say this was the voting of four wolves:
A chooses to eat: X, Y, Z
B chooses to eat: Z, W, Y
C chooses to eat: W, Z, X
D chooses to eat: Y, X, Z
You count the number of votes each player (letter in this case ) has.
W has no votes from A, 2 from B, 3 from C and none from D. 5 votes overall
X has 3 votes from A, none from B, 1 from C and 2 from D. 6 votes overall
Y has 2 votes from A, 1 from B, none from C and 3 from D. 6 votes overall
Z has 1 vote from A, 3 from B, 2 from C and 1 from D. 7 votes overall
Z was eaten at dawn.
Say there was a tie, with X, Y, and Z with 6 votes overall, then the computer will choose the kill randomly, just like it does with a MoO during the day.
Is this clear? I think it is, and I hope it helps

Yep, like I said, but much more complex.

With 33 hours left to vote, I'm going to wait until morning to make my vote. A few accusations are flying, and Stewie still hasn't posted, so I feel it best to wait a few more hours.

SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!
I didn't think Cat's original post was that suspicious - it's generally accepted that the odds indicate we probably shot a wolf first time out, and simply neglecting to state that explicitly isn't that suspicious - but a revenge vote is at best unhelpful, and at worst indicative of an over-defensive wolf.
And Roger, I don't think you can claim to have correctly explained the voting system as GA did since you implied a player could be eaten on the strength of one third choice vote alone - not that I'm here to pick holes or anything. At least once I've been a wolf, and made my three choices carefully every night, only to find a completely different and inexplicable player eaten each morning on the strength of my fellow wolves' seemingly random voting patterns!
Still holding out for Stewie before I think about voting...

Well, cat's actions are definitely suspicious and strange. Then again, I've never played a game with them, so I don't quite know what to make of it, but it definitely gives me some funky vibes. I've still got time to post and vote tomorrow, so unless RL intervenes, I'll be back on tomorrow.
Dear God, That which I am about to do is really stupid. I hope I come out of this alive. Thanks God. Peace Out. (Stage Crew Prayer)

Oh. Hmm. I guess. Fair enough, GA did a better job at explaining the weight of 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices. I was a bit unsure of how they were measured myself. Guess I was wrong that they're all weighed the same. But I still think GA could have said it much simpler than how he did. But both of us are nitpicking. Let's not resort to picking nits.
Hmm. I haven't much else to say. Cat could easily be a misunderstood human being framed or a dodgy wolf. I'm still hoping for the latter so my vote stands for now.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
LogicalRoger...
Mine was kind of complex, but it does get the message across... Not to be boastful or such, but I am kind of experienced in both TWG and WTB. So if anyone doesn't understand anything, you can pop me a PM. I will most likely know the answer... after playing over 100 games of each across two years, I have come to understand the rules etc.
My vote for catmandon stands, also. I haven't attacked catmandon in any way. I stated my suspicions, and voted such. catmandon was the one who returned the vote in, which I must say in a defensive, suspicious way.
And I didn't suspect him as much as bradon or LogicalRoger did, I just acted on it first. So I don't know why he picked me out of the bunch.
So, I really don't think I deserve to be shot today. I think if we need to shoot anyone, it'd be catmandon. Of course this is extremely early on, and Stewie hasn't even posted yet!
Anyway, can I just ask that we do not create a majority that will end the round early until a substantial amount of us have voted? I still want to give the seer ample opportunity to vote etc. So if you feel like voting a majority when there are already 7 nvotes on them (or of the like), just vote someone else who hasn't received a vote, which won't effect the outcome.
Anyway.. I'm half way to writing a novel, so I'll stop now! See you for now...

I think we need some helpful words from Stewie on the status of Roman. We all know Shawneo was human
There's still a day to go before this round ends so while we need to give cover to the Seer, I still think I've got time up my sleeve to vote.

Come on, Stewie. I really think a lot rests on whether Roman was wolf or human. I'm not going to do any voting yet, but I will be back and vote later. Wonder what's up with Stewie, he was so active last round?
Edit: (found Stewie's post above.)
Ok, so Roman was human. Hmmm. (Thanks Stewie) so guess I'll go ahead and vote Cat since it does appear that he already knew that.

I'M no good at wild accusations, so I wont even try. I too haven't played a game with Shawn in what feels like forever. Shame on you flee bag/s.
I see what Cat was trying to do. Now I see GA going on and on about a revenge vote? I see Cat voting GA as a response to GA being the first to jump to the trick a trick intended to find a wolf. It may have worked. And with GA's boasting of his sikllz and combined 200 games.... sounds like a wolf sweating it out now. So I'm siding with Cat (hope I'm right too) But seriously one slip up and one should not puff up his feathers and caw.... Sorry GA I like playing with you Too but a swear I see fangs there.

I didn't see Cat's claims of a "trick" originally (did I just miss it or was it edited in afterwards?!), but whether or not he was being serious it seems like it could be a weak cover-up for a potential slip-up, as was the edit in the original suspect post. As it seems like general consensus amongst everyone else that Cat's post was pretty suspicious, it seems a little bit odd that adrena has so eagerly accepted his claim of a "trick", when really all it was was a pretty unfounded revenge vote. Seems possible that we have one wolf trying to defend another who has made a slip... although I'm not convinced enough to vote on it it!
Whatever happens I don't think we'll have a random shooting tonight, some pretty suspicious play going on.

I just finished reading all the posts, and I still am no closer to picking a wolf than I was last round. Maybe I should let my dream do the picking.
Cat doesn't sound suspicious to me as he is correct about the odds favoring the wolves at the beginning of any game. But he does sound suspicious by some of the other things he says.
I think I'll vote Cat for now. Subject to change, as always.

I'm going for greenapples, he seems more suspicious to me than cat. Of course I skim read most of the posts since there are a lot. But from what I got, greenapples seems more suspicious because it seems like he just jumped on cat without enough reasoning behind it.
Well, this sure is interesting. I'm not ready to break this tie yet, because I just don't feel comfortable voting for either one of them yet. Both of them are acting in somewhat odd methods, but I don't think I can pull the trigger on either of them yet. I think I will post a safety vote for Hadleigh, but I'll be watching how this storyline plays out.
Dear God, That which I am about to do is really stupid. I hope I come out of this alive. Thanks God. Peace Out. (Stage Crew Prayer)

Like Wolverine, I really don't want to break the tie between GA and Cat. I will keep an eye on this though until the round is over. I agree that both GA and Cat are acting a bit more suspicious than anyone else, but I do not want to end up shooting a human since we've already lost two.
For now, I'm going to place a random vote for adrena in order to protect our Seer and avoid breaking the current tie.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I don't know who I'm suppose to believe.....GA or Cat. I'm gonna have to wait to vote.

Um... what?! Are you reading the same quote I am? You quote a couple sentences using the phrases "randomly voting", "possibly COULD" and "mostly it's purely random", along with a weak and illogical premise, then later assert this to be "very detailed reason[ing]"? This... strikes me as extremely bizarre.
Then we also have adrena's over-eagerness to believe everything Cat says as absolute gospel, and Lance's assertion that he's voting for GA after not actually reading what has happened...
Deb voted to tie the vote, which in this situation is a very reasonable thing to do, but other than that it seems we have a majority based on pretty weak reasoning. Voting for Catmandon, as he has been acting a little suspicious, and it does seem like he is getting a little help from potential team mates.

Yes, I am reading the exact same quote. I gave a solid reason for VOTING and said it was purely RANDOM, yes GA said it sounded suspicious. Ironically none of the votes that were random last round, or any of the other random votes this round sound suspicious, I guess. I gave reasons for voting, as I didn't expect to be around much today at all, and didn't want to get shot for being inactive. If it strikes you as bizarre, then so be it, but I still think GA's unfounded and specific accusation sounds much more bizarre.

IDK, but GA is an excellent player, and to lose him this early in the game would be a shame. Not saying Catmandon isn't - but I've not played with Cat before, so I can only comment on GA. It would be a shame if they were both humans, and we went after them both - GA this round and Cat the next - when their posts were actually innocent.

yes GA said it sounded suspicious.
No, he said your random vote was more suspicious than his own, which had more of a reason than a simple fishvote. I can only assume he singled you out because you were (one of) the first to vote, and quite early at that. I don't think GA was pointing to you as suspicious or as a probable wolf, rather, it seemed he was just wondering why Cat had voted for him instead.I don't, however, understand why you're so defensive against GA. It's not enough to warrant a vote, but reacting that way does seem pretty strange. GA also mentioned Bradon and me as more likely choices, but we aren't condemning him for singling us out and thinking he's suspicious for it. As far as I see it, he was just stating his opinions. What's wrong with that?
I'm just hoping that the wolves aren't sitting back while we squabble over which two humans to shoot. If Cat is a wolf, then although I'd expect at least one wolf to join the majority, I reckon a few of them are sitting outside, to not seem suspicious.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
I'm in a thunderstorm warning and it looks like I may have more tonight, so I guess I better vote while the electricity's still on.
I hate it when I have to pick between two players, and I can't do it this time. I just don't feel comfortable with it. GA and Cat are both suspicious to me. But ya know, so isn't vlerma. I know how you sit under the radar....you are a sneaky one. That's who I voting for.

Wow - I haven't done anything suspicious whatsoever. I saw something suspicious, and acted upon it.
Paladin's vote for me is completely unjustified, since I "singled him out".
As LR said, I was just stating that neither of our votes were suspicious, but if there was one to pick, it would be your vote since it didn't have as much reasoning as mine did. I think neither of our votes were suspicious, and I was wondering why I was jumped on. And that was because my vote was for catmandon. His vote is nothing but a revenge vote. And I'll be very disappointed if I'm shot because of this.
I don't know why I'm suspicious. I voted for my suspicion (as did Paladin, LR and one other person) and then catmandon fired a vote back for me, with little reasoning other than "he's suspicious for jumping on me". If anyone should be shot this round, as much as it'd suck to have him gone, it should be catmandon. My vote was subject to change, as said in my first vote by "for now".
It wasn't "jumping on" someone. It was voting my suspicion, which I justified with my reason.
Both catmandon and Paladin are acting suspicious to me, so if I'm shot I say keep an eye on those two.
Since there's five votes for me, obviously at least one human is voting for me, so don't go a hunting all the votes for me I highly doubt all wolves are voting me, maybe one or two.
So that's my defense. Can anyone see cat's? Nope.
Well, I'll leave it up to you guys. Shoot who you may.

Sorry you are in the storm area tonight. Always worry about you so far out there without a hearable siren to warn you. Yeah, I'm so sneaky I forgot to read who were the wolves, the cowboys or the Indians. I just had it in my head that the humans were Indians. That's why I was working so hard with Buffalo Has Hump, making a new war bonnet and telling him to go paint his pony. Oh God, it is so horrible to get old and feel like a fool so much of the time. At least I figured it out before I got too far into the game. And if everyone thinks this is just a ploy to throw everyone off No, I declare I am human. Just one who doesn't always move the right color checker.
Ok now, Cat or Apples! Gee, Apples, if I remember right didn't Dad ban you from Braingle - no wonder, if that is all you did all winter long was play WW and WTB. And I have not played any games with that twiddle pawed Cat, but I think the avatar is really cute.
So rather than break the tie I think I will just throw out a fish vote and sit back and watch what happens. So AuntieSis, I guess I will vote for you, no reason at all, just staying out of the decision making.
The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

I don't really want to see either GA or Cat go but I'm not going to change the tied vote.

hey v, i don't know who's cowboys or indians either, and i am just to lazy to go read
and as for my nemesis, (and thank you hadleigh for saying i am young, DID YOU SEE THAT PP??) it seems he is ignoring me why i do not know, maybe because he is soo old he forgot he was in a game

Ok, I admit I haven't played WWG enough to be up on all the subtle strategies, but I think I'm going to sit back and watch a bit. I am not sure enough of GA to be responsible for shooting a human, so I'm going to switch my vote to a fish vote, and hope we have something more solid to go on next round. But if we don't find a wolf this round, then I sure as heck hope we find one soon!

I'm really having second thoughts now. I have gone back and re-read everything and I now think that maybe GA is protesting too much. In fact, I really think he is. I may regret this, but I'm going to switch my vote to GA and hope for the best. If I am right, it will surely get me eaten, and if I am wrong, I'm sorry if my action gets another innocent human shot.

Well we have just a bit over an hour left in our voting time and Mr. Jones, you alone have yet to vote as we know that 4demo is incognito. Right now the vote is Catmondon is one vote ahead to ge3t shot, leaving Green Apples alive to argue another day, unless of course someone changes their vote, or Mr. Jones also could vote for GA, making a tie again so that the computer holds their fate. Interesting round.
