Oh, this is getting ridiculous. Why me? Ok, saved for our Mod.
Thanks "again" GrayV.
Wow 4 RFM's in a row from the same person. Another C&I first. This really a game of history making Stats.
Anyway now for the important thing.
Cat was an cowboy. Yep still 4 crafty indians out there to find.
Good luck getting one this time.
Stewie.
Edit: To end confusion.
Sorry about the mistake.

Hmmm. Smithy was eaten last night. Was he getting too close or are they afraid of his keen sense of tracking the lupines? I have no idea at this point in time. Will wait to see if we shot a wolf in Catmandoe. I shall return.

I'm afraid to say anything at all because every time I open my mouth I'm accused of trying "too hard" to sound human. But anyway, I don't want to be viewed as inactive either, so I'll just say I'm standing by to see how our aim was last round, and keep my fingers crossed.
As a clarification, since I seem to be getting a lot of slack for calling shawn one of our "best players", I have played games with him and am in a lot of forums with him. He's very sharp and logical, even if he is not experienced in WWG. So if calling him one of our best players gets me shot, then so be it. By contrast, I've played my fair share of WWG and am still baffled at the tactics.

Can we shoot deb yet?
What jumps out at me (this probably isn't really helpful) is all the eaten players names start with "S".
The reason Gumby isn't smiling is because Deb is keeping him captive against his will.

It's a shame to have lost Smithy, especially as he was one of the most assertive and discerning players, which is perhaps what contributed to his demise. He did criticize several of Paladin's posts and I believe indicated an earlier suspicion toward adrena; I'll have to read through his posts again since I don't remember what else he said, but assuming the wolves felt he was a threat due to his treatment of a particular player's posts, I think Paladin and adrena do warrant a close eye, especially as she was one of two to vote last round but not for cat (the other being Lance) - a possible wolf attempting to spur a random-vote initiative to save a fellow wolf?

I'm also going to wait for Stewie to post the identity of Cat. I'll be back later to see if I can find anything in the previous rounds that might point to why Smithy was eaten. I also have a few suspicions of my own and I want to check out a few things before I say anything.

Well, not too surprised. I didn't think that cat was a wolf and I was right. I'm feeling a pretty strong suspicion for bradon now. My vote goes to her.

I'm going to assume that Stewie revealed Cat as a human, due to him saying there are four left. Oh well. Sad to see Smithy go, but I'm not going to say that he was taken out for "getting too close". It could easily have been orchestrated to set the others up. Smithy was an active player and a good choice, but I don't think it necessarily indicates anything.
Oh, and while Vlerma could easily be very sneaky, I don't currently see her as overly suspicious, besides being on at the start consecutively, which just sounds like a fallacious point and too obvious, I'd think, for the wolf. But maybe I'm just blind.
I'll check back later to see how things have gone.

Interesting point. Sounds a bit like you said that before as a wolf so that when we realized that we shot a human you'd be able to say that you didn't shoot him and look less guilty. But that's just some minor speculation. Since I have been 100% wrong in my suspicions so far in this game, I'm not going to point my finger at anyone just yet. Honestly, I have no clue, not any idea who the bad guys are. I'm not even sure if the bad guys are cowboys or Indians, but I think it's the Indians (at least that's what it says at the beginning of this game.) The only thing I know for sure is that I am human. I do apologize Cat, after playing in so many games with you I thought I could read you pretty well. Boy was I wrong!

Right , Bobbi, time to shield our seer. I don't have a clue, but I am going to reread Smithy's posts to see why he was a threat and hopefully get a candidate for my vote.
Edited to add: Smithy seemed to be going after Paladin, and then he got eaten. That sounds like cause and effect to me. Paladin, you're it.

Smithy seemed to be going after Paladin, and then he got eaten. That sounds like cause and effect to me. Paladin, you're it.
That was my immediate inclination also, but as LR has pointed out, it's also quite plausible that Paladin is a human who had the misfortune to make several suspiciously worded posts, and the wolves are hoping to frame him by eating Smithy. There is of course the fact that we currently don't have an abundance of concrete evidence and therefore the connection you indicated may be vital, but given we've failed to shoot a wolf thus far, perhaps there is some credence to the theory the wolves are 'lying low' as we humans annihilate each other. I wouldn't be greatly surprised if at least one wolf turned out to be someone who has been flying under the radar so far, so to speak, although I don't have enough confidence in this theory or enough idea of who it'd possibly be to actually initiate a vote any such way.

Now see? This is why everyone's so quiet. We're all scared to death to talk, for fear of sounding suspicious. Some days, I sound and look guilty as sin....but in all reality....I'm not. I think the wolves are just sitting around waiting to pick out a hurried and incautious human. *looking over at auntiesis and vlerma*...you both look mighty hungry to me. Now our Mod had me more confused than most of the players do. No one picked up on my Chief Buffalo Has Hump except my daughter. I wrote that thinking that the Indians were the good guys. Then our mod indicated that there were four Indians still playing in the game. So I just dropped the act of telling the chief to go paint his pony. And now in Stewie's post above he states"Cat was an indian. Yep still 4 crafty cowboys out there to find."So now what? Someone else posted that according to the beginning of the game it was the Indians who were the wolves.
Now look folks, I may have Part-timers, but right now I am so confused, I don't know if I'm Indian or Cowboy. I just know that I'm human which ever outfit I wear. Stewie, will you please come forward and clear this up for me. After all, I have saved you a place for the beginning of each round.
The sound of the wild, but if there is no one there, does anyone hear their howls?

I went through the last round, and it seems that Smithy was suspecting Pal and gave his reasons why. In the previous round (round 2), snowy mentioned she had a strange suspicion of Pal as well. I've also had my suspicions of Pal and that's where my vote is going. Sorry Pal if I'm wrong since we do not seem to be able to get it right this game so far!
Since we still have over 22 hours left in this round, I'll keep checking back to see the thoughts of others who are posting.

So cat was a human afterall. I really wish I had a stronger inkling as to who the wolves were. I truly thought Smithy was one, but I was off-base there. As such, I'm just going to have to go with my gut and vote for bobbi. Reading back, her posts just seem a tad out of character to me.

But yeah, that's mainly where the confusion arose from. But as I've said before, any confusion should be wiped out from Stewie's words "still 4 [...] out there to find". No matter which witch is which, there can only be four wolves currently, and thus our proof that Cat was a human, and that Stewie likely just mixed up the roles in that instance.

I don't exactly recall you indicating this suspicion in an earlier round, either verbally or through a vote for Smithy, so care to explain why it's surfacing now? Surely it's not only coincidental timing that Smithy had been a pretty outspoken critic of some of your actions and logic, was recently eaten, you're rather likely to be shot this round, and you're taking this opportunity to say for what I believe is the first time (please let me know if I'm mistaken) that you thought he was a wolf? This alone to me, but especially coupled with some of your fallacies that Smithy noted, seems rather questionable. I sincerely hope this isn't a clever frame by the wolves for which I'm falling, but my vote is going to Paladin for now, certainly susceptible to change should any better leads turn up.

I have just spent the last half hour reading all the guff from the previous rounds.
I also think that Smithy was onto something and got eaten in the process. I commented last round that Shawnee had only played 6 games and would hardly make him one of our "Best" players. There are quite a few discrepancies in Pally's posts. My vote is for him this round.
Edit: to make it read right. oh for a spell checker on these games

Hmm. Alright, I think I'm going to place a vote for Bobbi. Reason being that I also think her gameplay is pretty odd, whether that's how she normally plays or not, it catches my eye as suspicious. In one round she suggested Cat being a wolf and then changed her mind at the last minute to shoot GA. Admittedly, however, if she were a wolf that would be an odd thing to do, change your vote for a human to a different human so late and for little tactical reason. But perhaps it was to allow her to shoot both GA and his voting rival Cat without seeming as suspicious. I could just be falling into Paladin and Lance's wolfy traps by voting with them, but right now the pattern of majorities seems too planned to me. It still feels like we're being set up to shoot more humans.
Of course Deb's quote from last round also struck me as odd:
Still, I'll vote for Bobbi for now, hoping that the wolves are trying to push us to vote for Pal, a suspicious-looking human.
Why didn't the Libertarian cross the road?
Of course Deb's quote from last round also struck me as odd:

#1 Paladin, thank you for being a gentleman and helping a confused old lady.
#2 LR thank you also for the same reason.
#3 OK now Stewie, how dare you foul up the old lady's brain like this. JK JK JK You know I love ya Stewie. Just look at you and all the games you have modded and I have never even tried to do one, not one. The only time it really bothered me was when my daughter called my hand when she asked where I got Chief Buffalo Has Hump. I thought I was Indian and I was just trying to be cute. So since Sis shook me back to the real world I was totally confused when I thought for a minute I could have made the old Chief paint a whole herd of ponies. Oh well, anyhow, you are forgiven Stewie.
I think I am going to place a vote for Bobbi to even up the votes. I may be wrong but this time I feel Pal is being hung out to dry by the Indians swaying the vote.
Because we still have 16 plus hours, I will log my vote, possible for change, should something . . . well you know.

I wish all of you who are voting for me would reconsider. I'm not a wolf. I am just an ordinary, run of the mill human cowhand, just like GA and Cat and Roman. I can only hope our Seer is still with us and they have "divined" me and somehow they can confirm that fact. In the meantime, I'm really suspicious of ppjones and adrena, but hesitate to point my gun at them because I haven't exactly been very insightful so far in this game. Not much more to say except if you do shoot me, know in advance that you are shooting another human.

Okay, at some point, ICUB42's vote changed to Bobbi but without announcement (I checked in around 11 pm before her post directly above, which is when I noticed the change, but was busy doing registration at the time so didn't make a post) despite some earlier vague suspicions of two other players. Obviously the lack of notification could have been anything from being preoccupied at the time to an internet glitch, but when we're searching for any suspicious activity or clues there might be, that does stand out to me. Also, a question if I may: you "just don't think Pal's a wolf" which is perfectly fair, but do you actually suspect Bobbi, or is this just a Paladin-rescuing-attempt vote?
Regardless, it seems some underlying alliances may be beginning to surface. Assuming Paladin is a wolf, those who are not voting for him, especially those also voting for Bobbi, may be possible lupine comrades. On the other hand, if he too turns out to be human, those going after him (I realize this is myself included) may warrant closer examination. So far, Paladin's voted for Bobbi but she has not returned the deed; I'm inclined to believe that a wolf would be more likely to vote for someone about to receive a majority to save his/her own skin, which is not necessarily always correct, but the act isn't in Paladin's favor in my eyes...
Okay, goodnight, everyone! Done rambling... for now.

If someone was to give be a very short summary of different people's suspicion, that would be awesome. If not, don't sweat it. I'll try can catch up as much as I can.

Done rambling... for now. [/color]
So let me get this straight... somehow I knew my vote for bobbi (the second vote at the time... she only had one vote when I voted for her) would spur a majority? I really don't get this game... I am voting for who I think is most suspicious, regardless of other votes. Heck yes I'm trying to protect my skin. Aren't we all? If bobbi is a human, then I will have failed miserably, but she seems the most wolfish to me, which is why I voted for her. I am not sure why anyone is going to such trouble to frame me. I explained, ad nauseum, my comments about shawn, and somehow that makes me sound like a wolf? I don't get the connection between calling shawn a good player and being a wolf. Can someone explain that to me?
Perhaps being inactive as a human is a good ploy in this game as well because it seems every time I open my mouth, I say something that gives people reason to jump on me *shrugs*

I don't think I'm going to change any votes but I would like to explain my sudden change from Cat to GA at the end of the 2nd round. I've played in quite a few games with both of them, but probably more with Cat. After reading and re-reading Cat's last plea, I started second guessing myself (something I have a tendency to do unfortunately) and began reading something into the wording of the post: (especially the first line)
I have to say what I have to say...
I thought I could say some thing out there to pull a wolf out of hiding...
It's OK ...Vote for me ...shot
me .................
But I am human...
You should know who your s wolf are ....
If not this round .....'
Then the the next!!!!!!!
That first line struck me as the words of a Seer. I just hope because Stewie hasn't mentioned the Seer that I wasn't right. Anyhow, when I found out that GA was human, I felt I was duped by a clever wolf, hence my "shame on you" comment. Again, I was wrong, and I admitted my remorse at the beginning of this round.
So Lance, that is why I did what I did. I hope you believe me, but if you don't, I don't know what more to say.

Okay, I'm not usually convinced like that, but after taking the time to look at most of your pervious posts, you just seem like a confused human to me.
No after attempting to catch up. I have come to suspect three people. Deb, LR, and Demo. Only since there is already a vote on deb, I'll go with deb for now.
The reason for deb, I feel like the seer is out there somewhere and I suspect who the seer is, and if I'm right then deb might be a wolf.
The reason for LR, I've noticed that wolves usually have a tendency to be more active than humans and most of LR's posts are fairly long. Also, in just the way he talks, it's really hard to explain, but he seems wolfish to me.
The reason for demo. Just simply the way she is so eagerly jumping at Paladin when most humans at this point should be afraid who to vote for because we already shot a lot of humans. So I'm probably most suspicious in demo.

Everybody looks suspicious to me right about now. I keep changing my mind, but not my vote yet. I don't think anyone has given a good enough reason to suspect Bobbi, but it looks like the computer will pick this time. And you know the computer usually picks a human.

Wow, lots of heated discussion. In my limited experience playing these games where people's roles are revealed, the best information is derived when you shoot a wolf. To Demo's point, you get an understanding of the alliances that form...who voted for the wolf and who voted in the other majority....and so forth.
I am voting for Vlerma. In my opinion, you are a sharp lady and this whole confused act your posting is nonsense. I feel like I have seen this act before.
As far as the split between Bobbi and Pal, I do not think Bobbi or Pal are wolves, I think we are potentially going after two humans for different reasons.

The reason Gumby isn't smiling is because Deb is keeping him captive against his will.

I was hoping by now that a wolf would present him/herself and I could jump my vote... I still suspect bobbi, but knowing her fairly well, her last post has made me doubt myself now. My gut is to jump my vote to someone else, but at this point changing my vote would cause a human to get shot without a doubt (me), so I am better with a 50/50 chance at not getting shot and a chance that if I don't we will still get a wolf as opposed to knowingly eliminating another human. Those who know me know that I am all about my team, not individual victory... as such, I will take my chances with the random number generator and wish my fellow cowboys the best if I shall fall this round.

Sorry lance I'm not the seer. If I were some here would know how to see me, and I'll leave it at that. However if I have given a wolf the cause to doubt then I shall be eaten and the seer lives another day. Assuming we have yet to lose the seer. Demmo, Auntiesis and DEB were the ones I saw just logged on as night turned to day(2 hours or so gap). DEB is the one of the 3 that seamed most likely to be wolf. Only because her conversations have been for the most part been off topic and silly. As I know Deb likes to do, but seams a nerves wolf ploy to type off topic as many games as one can so when the wolf one would look as if they were playing the norm. Just a thought nothing divined sorry.

I'm actually kind of glad that it's a tie, although I'd prefer to know that we're shooting a wolf instead. I'm not entirely sure about either, but I just hope that whoever is shot is a wolf. And I hope, unless something pops up that detects a wolf, that no wolf or human changes their votes at the last second to kill a human (assuming one of them is actually a wolf).
I hope the seer's still with us. I'd hope that Stewie would tell us if the seer were gone. If the seer's still with us then I hope they've found at least one wolf, or at the very least that their divined players haven't been all killed off.
It sucks because I somehow believe both Pal and Bobbi, to a degree, and am a bit less sure. But this may just be my guilt from possibly helping to kill another human. After all, Lance's post from yesterday seemed to me as a confused human player, but his post from today seemed more wolfish. That might be just because he assumed I'm a wolf and went off of really weak ideas though.
I'm wolfish because I'm active and ... talk funny? Naw, maybe that's too much of a strawman, but it's still not much "evidence" against me. Being active is a bad reason. Most of us are active and have posted a lot (maybe not as much as me because I tend to blather any points that are on my mind) thus you'd have to include a lot more players into the wolfish category. Frankly since the wolves have still not yet been shot, I expect them, at least most of them, to be keeping under the radar, rather than like myself and waltzing in front of it.
Hmm. The votes for Vlerma still seem kind of odd. I mean, they could be correct but they're not really based on much. They seem more like joke-votes to me, to be honest.
I'll shut up for now. Just a final note to hope that the computer chooses right, if there's a right choice, and that it will give us more paths to go after. Otherwise I might just try to shoot the suspicious Lance.
Edit: Because I remembered that Seers are generally trying to find wolves and not humans. And to make myself sound more eloquent and witty. I've failed again, haven't I? Lol.

Lol. That was quick. You went from a round and a half of "very suspicious" to "nope she's a confused human" in one post? Wouldn't a human have at least an inkling of doubt before such a swift change? The reason for deb, I feel like the seer is out there somewhere and I suspect who the seer is, and if I'm right then deb might be a wolf.
So assuming you thought Adrena was the seer, would this change your vote and suspicion, I wonder? Since that's all your suspicion seems to rely on. And your entire vote and wanted majority and thus kill. While I can agree that it could be Deb and that she could be a wolf for her strange posts, to jump to her like that based on such a small reason seems fishy. To vote for Deb mainly because she is the closest to a majority means that you want to try and save the other two. I'm just wondering why you're so sure of the other two.I'm wolfish because I'm active and ... talk funny? Naw, maybe that's too much of a strawman, but it's still not much "evidence" against me. As I pointed out, you did the same thing with Deb, but on less of a reason. Perhaps I played into her theatre from earlier, but what I saw was consideration, not total blind eagerness; and then later on an instinctive reaction for a possible wolf. It's interesting that you seem to side with Paladin so, going to the point where those who vote for him seem to necessitate a wolfish plot. But maybe I'm just connecting pieces from an improper angle and you're just an odd human. Sorry if you are.Hmm. The votes for Vlerma still seem kind of odd. I mean, they could be correct but they're not really based on much. They seem more like joke-votes to me, to be honest.

Woah, sorry that this is my first post of the round guys. I've been caught up with RL stuff. I've caught up on the posts, and I've just got this gut feeling about Paladin. I've trusted my gut before in Werewolf games, and I've got to go with it again. Something has definitely seemed off about his posts. I'm going to break the tie and vote for Paladin.
Dear God, That which I am about to do is really stupid. I hope I come out of this alive. Thanks God. Peace Out. (Stage Crew Prayer)

Okay, I'm rather confused about what's going on with deb and adrena, so I'm going to reread those parts again... but anyway:
To somewhat reiterate upon a general point, I don't think activity level or voting technique alone is a conclusive indicator of suspicious behavior. Some people prefer to post frequently and vocalize any ideas that spring into mind, while others tend to be quieter or only speak up when they have a more definite opinion, regardless of role. Similarly, there are those who are assertive leaders and those who are followers when it comes to voting. People's behaviors may vary by round depending on the circumstances. I am not trying to defend anybody or advocate a particular method, simply noting that the presence of any playing style, unless dramatically different from a player's consistent typical style, should not be an indicator of guilt (i.e. the most active player is not necessarily the wolf).
I fully acknowledge that is entirely possible Paladin is a human with slightly odd behavior, in which case I apologize in advance for suspecting him, but at this point, joke-votes aren't going to be very helpful regardless of position. If the people voting in a minority legitimately suspect somebody, it would be more helpful if they provided their reasons, which could be of greater assistance in future rounds.

With my vote, this will be another "perfect" voting round. Way to go, people. This is without a doubt the most fun werewolf game I've ever played in. Extremely active, well versed players each and every one.
I've been holding off my vote because I honestly didn't want to be the one to shoot anyone. Thanks to Wolverine, the tie is broken and I can vote my gut rather than vote to save my hide. Sorry, Deb. I choose you.

With only minutes to go, I really hate to see the tie broken as well between Bobbi and Pal. Therefore, I'm going to change my vote to adrena in order to put the tie back into place - even if it does make me look suspicious.
Yes, I am waiting until the last minute to do this as it seems most of us are so unsure and we were welcoming the tie that Wolverine broke. So, even though I still have my suspicions of Pal, after some of the lastest posts, I'm not willing to be one of those responsible for possibly shooting another Human. Maybe the computer will finally get us our first wolf.
If after I post this and change my vote, anyone else comes in and breaks the tie, that is the person who I feel would be much more suspicious than I am if they break the tie I am putting back into place.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!
