Thanks Bobbi,

I really want to thank the wolves for being active and for working with me. They would PM me questions and comments about the game and got me the prompts quickly. Just so everyone knows, I asked for a half dozen prompts during round one... had all of them by all the wolves by the start of round two. Well done.

The wolves:

Green - Shrubs
Brown - Vlerma
Purple - Bradon
Olive - Habs

I think Longhorn had all the wolves + Stewie listed last round as wolves then she modified the comment and voted for Stewie. So close. And yes Snowy, I said if you are lucky to get a wolf because you guys were already voting for Stewie, so it would take some luck to have you change your votes.

Deb had 3 of the wolves pegged in the first round and started with the same list in round two before changing her mind on a couple.

Several of you had Vlerma pegged as the brown wolf, but no one really stuck with their instinct and persue that vote to the end. Glad you could join us Vlerma and hope you are getting stronger and better everyday!

In the round that I mentioned that one human had a couple wolves correct in their mind and others were way off, Stephen had named one wolf and said there were a couple older ladies as wolves. This was true and and correct, but because he did not actually give them names and buttons list only took consideration of wolves actually named, I asked her to disregard my comment. My comment had been meant for everyone to rediscover the art of finding a wolf - and working together, not to give a hint that someone had given the name of the wolves and you guys missed it. With every human (and wolf) having different people they wanted to vote for, it really was a wolf's game.

It was fun to watch and I look forward to another one soon.

Nice job vlerma.
Sad I was shot for voting early along with being third to vote. Never had that reason to shoot someone before. I honestly thought it was a joke because that in no way points to someone being a wolf.
Not sure what was going through peoples heads. You wanted active players and I was shot for it. Anyways I really hope you had fun. Good job wolves you destroyed the humans!

wow good game. i only had two of the wolves figured out thru out the whole game. i like how the clues helped but were not easy enough to peg a wolf. wish i could have played a bit longer.

I went back to see why Mel was eaten and wow that comment just pretty much said I AM THE SEER...Good catch scrub.

A bit of advice. I see this all the time. The seer, I feel, is the most important player in this game. If you get the job of seer you better clear your schedule so you can devine. That is key to the game. Even tho mods put a twist on the games and had hints and clues if you played this game the exact way the rules state your seer is your number 1 information. I know you have to be sneaky to stay alive when trying to peg a wolf or let others know who is a wolf and who is human. And it takes practice which is hard to get since being seer chances are pretty low. If you know your about to be lunch or shot you might as well spill it. even if you have only devined 2 or 3 people that greatly improves the chances of finding a wolf.

I just wanted to throw that in because the people that want to be on the reunion team need tips. They need to learn from what standards we want to play by.

WOW! Great game everyone, good job wolves. I cannot believe we pulled it of with everyone of us still alive, we were all named more than once as a wolf, but we did it.

Okay, and I have to come clean, I was absolutely honest in all my postings except the one about ever being to California, Obviously I've been there (more than once). We didn't go with the intent of doing many amusement parks, but since there were there, we went. I've also been to Legoland in Carlsbad, CA and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN to name a few.

When we were kids, every summer my parents would cram (yes "cram", we didn't have the large comfy SUV type vehicles back then that they do now) us into the car and take us to an amusement park for vacation. I've been back to all of them as an adult, but nothing will ever beat getting out of the car after a 8-15 hr drive (during which we had to amuse ourselves (no on board DVD planers back then either, at least we had our Sony Walkman until the batteries died, or the cassette got munched) and seeing all the rides.

Thanks for the great game Randy! Hope you host another one.

I had lots of fun, but I think most of us humans were really overthinking the game
It was really great nonetheless, even if I was shot.

Thanks for a good, active game!

For the record, Jake, I was surprised that you got shot for your early SPV, but if you will go back and look, it was the players who had just come back to play after a hiatus that felt you were suspicious for doing so. You will note, I agreed with you, but then I had to shut up or be shot myself. It is simply the difference in playing styles, as the early SPV has evolved over the past year or so.

Also, for the record, I was purple and I can't believe I lasted the entire game, my answers were so obviously me (at least to my mind's eye). The only amusement park I've been to is Midway in Ohio, but I doubt anyone except Snowy would recognize that one as it is just a small local amusement park with mainly kiddy rides and that is where we would take our kids when they were young. As they got to be teens they would go by themselves to Darien Lake for the rides and stay for the concerts, but I never did. Sea World was my one big adventure and I don't believe they have rides, just the animals. My Chevy Z24 was my most favorite vehicle, and I'm sure I mentioned it in at least one of the Talk Boxes and probably in my General Discussion interview.

I agree, nicats, that the Seer does need to be more active, but I'm sure the timing of the rounds had a lot to do with it. I actually thought Froggy was the seer, she seemed to use the word "see" in her comments quite a bit, so that is where my thoughts were. Also, the fact that she voted for me at least twice, I was sure she had divined me, so I totally overlooked Mel's "just for the sake of voting" comment, so kudos to Scrub for getting that.

To sum it up, this was a real first blending of two totally different werewolf playing styles, and for the most part it was truly a learning experience for all. I hope this can evolve into something that is agreeable and acceptable to all. For now, thanks for the fun and challenging game everyone.

I don't know what to say.. Great job wolves, the humans were the cause of their own downfall this game.

As fun as it was. It was actually thhe first time I was ever truly frustrated in a wwg.

None of the humans seemed to really gel and work togeather enough for my liking.

Anyway thanks for modding randy.

I am going to set up a C&I game soon, if anyone is interested...

I have a few comments, and then I'll get down on my soapbox.

First, vlerma, why did you eat me? I haven't played a game in 2 1/2 years, and you take me out on Day Two? It really dampered my enjoyment of the game, since I was not even a part of any of the action. I clearly was suspicious to a good number of people, but you took me out incredibly early in the game. It defeats the entire purpose of Reunion if you take out people who are active/posting and might catch you, solely for the purpose that they might catch you (I got 3 votes to be shot that round, 2 of which were from humans, and old Reunion members can attest to the fact that my gameplay was on-par with my typical gameplay, whether human or wolf, so I clearly wasn't acting overly human).

Next, I must say I really do not like 20-person games. It makes an even number of people for each Day round, which makes it that much harder to get the wolves (picture the penultimate round when it would be 2 wolves out of 6 instead of 2 of 5, or even the final round when it is 1 wolf of 4 instead of 1 wolf of 3). I also think there are way too many opinions floating around, allowing the wolves to continue to obscure the battlefield for far too long. 15-person games allow more strategy and actually give the humans a fighting chance.

Lastly, I must say that I was actually disappointed with this game. Little of the game was dictated by concrete logic, and people went much too far based on absolutely nothing. It seemed there was either too much "I don't want to form a majority" or bandwagoning going on. I'm not quite sure what I expected after such a long absence, but this game seemed lacking to me. I might play another game to see if I like it more, but I must say that I was disappointed.

Take my comments or leave them. I'm not bitter, just disappointed.

i can't believe you ate me!!!

bobi and scrub never was on my radar

very fun

hey david don't be so disappointed, sometimes logic just doesn't apply, we play with people who are just not logical all the time(not meaning anyone just that we are ALL people) kinda puts the spice in the game

David, just like the SPV has changed over the past couple years, so has the joining of majorities.

I also agree that I like 15 person games better, especially because of the number of people it takes to get the game started. We almost always seem to get to 17 or 18 and have to wait a few days more for the extra people... plus there really is a harder time of getting good majorities.

However, as a reunion recruitment game, I did feel it was important to have a couple extra players that were not in the reunion group.

Well, sorry guys. I really was trying to figure out the clues and vote based on logic, but obviously I went a totally wrong way with it. The first few rounds with no clues at all as to whether we got a wolf or not really threw me, as did some of the eating choices. As soon as I thought there might be something more concrete to go on I jumped on it, and I didn't even consider Mel a possibility for Seer just because she didn't vote for two of the four rounds she was in the game. It didn't cross my mind that the Seer wouldn't vote in the game, so her comment about "just for the sake of voting" didn't stick out to me after she had gone two rounds without doing so. Obviously my logic was flawed, but there really were reasons why I went the way I did with it.

Anyway, well played wolves.

Thanks for modding Randy, overall this was a fun game and I enjoyed playing with all of you. Looking forward to more.

WOW. I have never been in a game where NO WOLVES were shot. Overall, this was a good experience- however I was lost much of the time. The clues didn't really help me at all, mostly because I don't know most of you guys well enough to figure you out. I was sure after the last round (and RG's post) that SNOW was a wolf. (Wrong again, btw) I had mentioned that her or frogger seemed like the Olive wolf, but I never commmited to voting for Snow after I was wrong about Frogger. I had started to think Vlerma may be a wolf late in the game, but not enough to vote for her either, and no solid reasons just a little voice in my head wondering why she was so quiet the whole game, and never eaten. Anyway, I never saw it coming.

I hope to get to play another game soon, as this one I spent most of my time scatching my head. Still learning the in's and out's of the game.

I go on vacation in two weeks- but if we can get another game sometime this week that would be great. Thanks for letting me play with you guys, and CONGRATULATIONS to the wolves, well done! Congratulations to RG as well, thanks for modding.

The wolves did an excellent job. At one time I did suspect HABS and vlerma and slightly suspected scrub but bradon was never even on my radar. I don't know what it was this game, it just seemed that the humans were confused the entire time (myself included). We never could get it together.

The wolves did a great job on getting the tides to turn against me. My logic did make sense, 3 of the wolves were older women. I don't know how the votes went between me/max and then to stewie. It was obvious that at least 2 of the wolves had to be older women.

Snow, I have to say that you were suspicious to me the entire time! I cannot believe that you were human. In the 4th round I was debating shooting you or froggy and ended up putting the 2nd vote on froggy, instantly regretting it when I looked at the posts after I had left. I guess either way it would've been bad for the humans.

Anyway, nice job wolves. You did deserve it as no one really ever had enough to get you guys shot. We really did just never pull it together.

Oh, and by the way, the reason I didn't state the main reasons I was voting for Vlerma is because I didn't think it was okay based on the rules. I have a bit more knowledge of what's going on in Vlerma's life (as well as a couple others here) because a few of us are FB friends as well as being friends here on Braingle. I was fairly certain she was the Brown wolf from round 1 when the prompt was delayed as I knew she was the most likely candidate to have a very good reason for it. Also, the prompts once posted sounded like her to me. However, I couldn't remember how much of what I was thinking was from here and how much was from her FB page, so I thought I might be crossing a line to say why I suspected her. I realize that probably hurt the humans, but I didn't want to accidentally say more than she would want shared here.

And here I thought I had covered that quite well, Teddy, when I tried to blame the delay on an inexperienced player not getting their prompts in to Randy. Made sense to me, anyway. One other thing I feel I must mention: I honestly thought Scrub you were Olive, and Habs, you were green. You guys did an excellent job masking your prompts. Vlerma gave herself away to me when she mentioned curly fries, which is something she mentioned in her General Discussion interview.

And before I forget to mention it again, Randy, thank you so much for being an excellent Mod and staying on top of the game. It was a pleasure playing with such a well organized and attentive Mod.

First of all, thank you Randy for doing a great job. I still thought the humans were going to pull it through the last round when they threw out the idea of going with the silent people. The hints for them were fine by me.

2) It is really different playing from the perspective of a wolf, when you know the identities of the wolves before they write their prompts. To me, it was just obvious that the olive wolf was HABS, but I knew it was her. Without that information, would I have so readily attached the two? I doubt it, given how many good players did not. But Bobbi, even knowing you were the purple wolf I could not recognize you - nice job. I don't know vlerma well enough to know her prompts and writing style yet.

3) Deb - You are scary good!!!

4) My first prompt was in reference to Diplomacy. The online version is not nearly as fun as the table top one, but it is still good. When I was Stephen and Davids' age, I used to go to war gaming conventions and fell in love with the game. I think many of you would too. HABS and nicats especially. I am just glad that no one knew/thought of it.

5) Although soccer is the third sport I follow, I actually thought there were more Europeans when the game started. It was not until later that I noticed Lawlor and Jayo were not with us. The reason I "cheer" for Fulham is that Clint Dempsey - soon to be the greatest American to play the game - is on the team, and I want his team to win. I really felt that if I put anything else of my interest on the post, I would get shot immediately.

6) Sorry about the car thing Longhorn, I really don't know much about the prices. I really thought the Porsche was a very expensive car. I had a used 7 series when I was overseas for three years that an airman sold me for a very reasonable price. It was the best car I have ever driven. So smooth, and quick to accelerate. And it is great on the autobahn. And vlerma - tell us more about your pimped up Mustang in the middle of Nebraska!!!!

and I did learn one thing from this game:

If you have a chance in the first round to not make a random vote, go with it. The best logic in round one was that vlerma was late with her prompt. That connection may have been incorrect, but it seems that it has a better chance at catching a wolf than pure ramdomness.

First of all Randy, thank you for being a very fair and informative mod. And for covering for my illness. I hesitated accepting your invitation as I had only played one werewolf game since my return home in April. My concentration level has suffered and domr of my short term memory just plain got up and went. As for my heart itself it has gone from a raging 150 beats per minute down to a low 43 this last week. We are still trying to get my meds adjusted with blood thinner and blood pressure meds. I am just thrilled to be back home and still able to be doing things. I do have a daily housekeeper who cares for most of my needs and by next month we hope to have a shower stall put in so I don't have to take a chance of falling getting in and out of the bathtub.

Oki, David, why did i vote to eat you. I can answer why I choose to eat you, but the big question in my mind is why the other three wolve4s also choose to do so.
Because as wolves we are given a list times three as to whom we chose to eat. I am not really sure how this works, if your name has to come up twice as the first person to eat, or if it is that your name came up the most times???? Perhpas out mod would be good enough to answer this.

As to why I voted for you, we had theree people voting for you to be shot as they felt you had been identified as the olive wolf. Ev en tho I knew you weren't I attempted to make it appear the wolves took you out because your logic was so good on several of the wolves and perhaps babyjuice could have been a wolf. Yes I voted for her also, but at the time, my votes were not that pubic.

I thought I had given myself away with my Harley and a motorhome. Truly I have admitted several times in discussion and talk boxes about my love of motorcycles, not just looking at them, but also riding them. Now that I am retired to me the choice vehicle would be a forty foot motorhome pulling a Harley, o travel from campground to campground using the Harley for side trips. I have ridden Yamaha, Kawasakis and I owned and driven two different Hondas. But that big beautiful bike has always eluded me. I do have a ban new Kawasaki crouch rocket sitting in my apartment building. She belongs to my grandson - my daughter and granddaughter have just purchased Honda scooters to save on gas mileage, so see we are a cycle family.

OK my pimped out, totally choice 35th addition 1999-2000 Ford Mustang. Like the motorcycles we have found the Mustang is strickly a summer vehicle. The motor is so souped up and the torque is such that on good old Nebraska winter ice all you get is great wheel spin and no forward movement. Every thng in the interior is original with no marks, holes or tears. The paint job we think was original - deep metallic wine. I love the color. I fell in love with the car the day my grandson brought her home. I no longer drive, but I do get to ride in her once in a while. My grandson has found she is a real girl catcher.

Great game everyone, but all I can say is Hoooooowwwwwlllllll!!

Also had a suspicion on Habs.

Thanks bradon for explaining that. I know that the style of play has changed over time and sometimes I forget when I come back. Sorry to the people that get unjustly accused due to that!

Oh, and thanks very much to everyone for the well-wishes. Grayma... I loved having you... (as well as everyone else, BTW! Thanks). I think that real life will always come in the way of games and such and knowing your current health situation, I was extremely happy to have you in this game. You know we are all looking forward to your full recovery and back into your normal game mode!

I admit though, when I saw you were a wolf, and the delay to get the first prompt to me, I figured you were going to be shot fairly quickly.,, and of course the only "cover" I could give was when I stated that I would not post the prompt response of the brown wolf until the start of the second round... so no one would watch the time stamp. Had you not got those prompts to me before then... I fear you would have seen about a dozen guns with silver bullets pointed your way!

So I take it buttons you were afraid to mention you knew who Clint Dempsey was during the game? When I read Shrubs response, I took it as an honest comment, even though I had never heard of the items in his response.

Tonja, glad things are calming down... recently went through my own un-calming situation, so I can feel your relief! Sadly, mine was had to do with the passing of my father in law... I do hope yours was not a life ending event. I also apologize if you mentioned it and at this time I do not recall your situation... but alas, my mind has been elsewhere recently.

And Snowy... my good friend Snowy... I almost said something in the game, but I figured you did not know it and I really did not want to put you on the spot for something that I knew did not apply to you. Google - Coney Island, Ohio. There was one in Cinncinatti, Ohio. when I saw that, I had to laugh for a few minutes. But I surely did not want to look like I was gunning to have you eliminated, but I also was a bit surprised that no one else saw it. I absolutely realize that you may not know nothing about that one either, but just the fact that it's a lot closer to you than New York is... made me wonder if it would come up and you could get shot "just because". I am glad you it didn't and you lasted the game.

RGW- Thanks again for your thoughts. Fortunately, this didn't involve someone passing. However, it does have to do with aging parents who are in a tough position right now partly of their own doing...and I am the only one able and/or willing to help. It is causing turmoil with my husband (hence the significant amount of attention over the past couple years) and just last week came to a dire turning point. They were on the verge of homelessness and needed a bit of quick intervention to prevent it. For many reasons, the economy is tough right now and they are caught in the middle. They are too young for social security but old enough that they are experiencing age discrimination with job seeking, and we had a crisis. Hoping our help came at the right time.
