Seeing that this is Catz's first game, I don't find that wolfish. I guess I'll just continue with the inactive wolf thing since night timed out.

I mean that in the sense of "we could be shooting all townies or all wolves and have absolutely no idea after the fact"

that's why on games where the mod is inactive I usually propose a player/moderator, that is, a player who deliberately takes himself out of the game to act as a moderator. Of course, all the wolves and the seer would have to identify themselves to the new "moderator." Then after each round, he could announce what got shot. I haven't brought up the subject for this game because (I may have a faulty memory on this) Mitty is usually pretty active. I keep thinking he will show up soon.
Anyway, I voted for another inactive also.

I didn't think it was necessarily wolfy; I just don't like people who flat out admit to bandwagoning every round (in fact, she demanded it). Plus she's never posted in-game before ... not a good way to start out in a game. Let's see what she does when she is the majority vote.

With soo many inactives, this can easily turn into a wolf-lead picking off of Humans. And we won't argue because we want the Inactives gone. As stated before, I'm all for taking out Inactive players, but in most games it's maybe 2 or 3. Unless we just want this game to end ASAP, perhaps we now need to try to hit a wolf...?

Be back in the morning to read what other people think.

Well I'm just gonna vote a random inactive... What if we each chose an inactive and voted for different people and let the game decide who to shoot? That way we can be sure that there isn't a wolf leading the bandwagon?

Voting robertdavila, hasn't been on for 12 days and we don't have a clue if we've even struck lucky with a wolf yet. Here's hoping; but I agree with Jazzy's point that if the game decides we can at least be sure any active wolves aren't driving the hunt for inactive humans and steering the bandwagon clear of their fellows.

The current inactives are:

Spikeman
robertodavila
obhiraj
KBeezy

(braingle01 isn't inactive, even though she used to be inactive all the time.)

Since it's taking four rounds to shoot all the inactives, 16 - 4 x 2 = 8. In other words, by the time we've shot all the inactives, there will be at most 2 wolves and 6 humans, and at least 1 wolf and 7 humans. The humans can still veto the wolf votes. For now, let's see if there are two players who always vote for the same person.

I agree with JazzyMin and I'm voting a different inactive as a result.

In my opinion, shooting Catz for what she says won't do more than teaching her the hard way not to jump the bandwagon. It isn't any better than shooting an inactive.

Um guys, Silverranch, Catz and Elios are all active and all on our vote list. Everyone's already at one vote, so theres a bit less than a 50/50 chance we'll lose an active if we let the computer choose. I originally liked the plan of everyone voting for someone different and having the death be random, but I don't think we want to lose active players. If the votes don't change in the last couple hours of day here, I'm gonna roll a die and vote for one inactive randomly to get a majority.

Of course you're not arguing with me, Catz. There's no argument to be had. You admit you just wanted to vote for whomever everyone else wants to vote for; I voted you to see if you were true to your word. Deciding to vote with the majority is still a decision.

I don't count someone Active unless they actually participate in the game. Logging in to Braingle and even placing votes does not make one Active. It makes them... I don't know what. This is a game based on reading between the lines of people's posts and coming together as a group to hunt out the "bad guys" in the game. If a player isn't helping, then they're basically useless.

Now that Catz has decided to actually play the game and is no longer a lurker, I will switch my vote to Braingle01. I've been in several games where Majority of One votes have actually resulted in a wolf-hit, so here's hoping!

Voting ob because seriously, if you're inactive 22 days, why did you even sign up in the first place?

Sorry, I would rather play with actives. It's no fun if we pick off the active players wolf hunting, figure out who the wolves are, and then don't have enough active players left to vote for them. I have been in that situation, and it sucks. I'd rather take my chances and pick off inactives.

EDIT: my gut tells me at least a couple of them (inactives) are wolves anyway, given we ALWAYS time out. So I don't think we're doing the wrong thing.
