A low bleating shortly echoed with tears escaped the sobbing Satyr kneeling at the edge of the Camp Half-Blood forest.
"Grover.. I'm sorry." Annabeth whispered, placing her hand on his shoulder only to watch him push it off with a violent shake of his head.
The once beautiful tree of his girlfriend, merely sizzling ashes with the aftermath of the fire. A single leaf with singed edges slowly floated to the ground. Juniper was long gone.

Ok, so te wolves took out an inactive. Thats good, I guess. Hard to guess based on eating when theres still 3 wolves (assuming catz was human).

Why not just go for the inactives until we get a logical plan?

I think (but I'm not sure) that JamFish implied that Catz was human. "Loyal lieutenant" and all that. But I don't know if that makes sense.
So, is it only the half-bloods that have to compete in the challenges, or everybody?

Only half-bloods participate. So everyone except for Grover Underwood and Rachel Elizabeth Dare Though these two both have the option of helping a friend within the game. If they have helped a friend and that friend wins the challenge, they receive the credit as well. So be helpful.

If no one gets the answer I am looking for by the time we hit ten hours, I'll give a hint. (and so no one is mis-lead, this is in no way a clue. It does have a reward, however)

I apologize for not being on earlier.. I slept through the ten hour mark. On the bright side (or maybe not) nobody has gotten the answer.
Well, actually.. I have seen the answer.. but you MUST PM for me to take it as a submission.
Hint: I never asked for the answer of this riddle. Re-read it carefully, pay attention to punctuation, and try again.
The assembly couldn't help but let out a small, heart-broken moan as yet another of their campers turned to dust at the hit of a celestial blade. The fun loving thief and son of Hermes torn from his twin and friends.
"We need to plan this out more.. we.. we need to think.." Grover bleated, shaking his head. Silena sighed behind him, having not even bothered bringing her mirror with her. This was serious.
