Going to wait for Rhy's post before placing a vote. Not sure what to make of the Christiangirl eating. She only posted 3 times in the round, and didn't really say anything incriminating in any of them . . .one post to state she was placing a SPV, one to question the sudden swing to JJ instead of voting inactive and one stating that we shouldn't read much into JJ's "odd" posts as he is odd.

Will wait to see what others think before doing anything.

I know I jumped on the "JJ conspiracy" fairly quickly, but who started it? We may want to look at them. I didn't believe his seer claim, but mistook his reason for it.
Not going to vote for another few hrs until more players have had the chance to vote.

My guess, is that he was trying to protect the real seer, by claiming to be it himself. . . . not realizing that his identity would be revealed the next round? I'd have to say, the only thing he accomplished was confusing everyone. . . . . .

As for those that were happy to vote for him, don't know if they were just confused, wanted to take out the "possible" seer or just human . . . . . or a mix of all reasons. . . . . but I do believe the wolves took advantage of the situation, and voted for him. No matter what, they either take out a human or the seer. So it was to their advantage to vote for him.

Will wait to see what others think before I vote.

Sorry for being gone, I was busy for the weekend. Why JJ would do something like that is beyond me, and I can't imagine who he could have been shielding since he was the one under suspicion.

I've seen this done before. A human will claim to be the seer, when they have votes against them. They, I "think" are hoping all will believe they are the seer, so the real seer is not looked for by the wolves any longer. (his mistake, if this is what he did, was to forget that his identity would be revealed next round) To me though, his claim wasn't effective, because it made him look like a wolf, trying to save themselves. I've seen this done before too - a wolf claims to be seer. . . . . the votes are moved off them, then the wolves do not eat them, and they live yet another round. I hope he explains his move on this after the game is over.

Well, that was unexpected... I thought for sure he was a wolf or seer... not just human.

Claiming seer in that situation could have in no way been done to protect the real seer. JJPutz was merely trying to save his own skin from being shot. I sincerely dislike players who do that. If the real seer felt threatened enough to reveal him/herself, that could have been disastrous for us!

I need to get back my bearings. I'll be back later to place my vote.

You don't think he was trying to help the real seer? I was thinking this was his motive. . . . . how could he be trying to save himself though, when he knew the wolves would take him out during the night.

Well, moving on . . . . . I gotta read through the posts last round, to see if anything pops out at me.

Any time I've seen the seer come out in the open, if they are being threatened (like JJ was) with being shot, instead of saying "if you want to win the game, move your votes" they will something like "I am the seer, I know reveling this has sealed my fate but this is what I know a, b and c are humans, x is a wolf" - and they sacrifice themselves for the good of the game.

JJ's motives are not really important now, now what we need to do is focus on getting the other 3 wolves.

I don't mean to linger on what transpired last round, but I feel really stupid for believing that JJ might have been the seer. It should have been obvious he wasn't. In his first post last round, he said that he would wait for IDs before voting... but he should have already known the IDs... because if he had divined wyse, as he claimed he did, he would have known that he was a wolf, and if he was the seer, he would have known that scrub wasn't.

Anyway, moving on. I'm gonna place an SPV for now.

I can understand how you may think that (in fact a few posts above yours I myself said the same thing. I assure you however I indeed a human. Remember, I didn't start the JJ thing, I just went along with it.

chunnie wrote:

Exactly, JJ did seem very suspicious.

Anyway, really not sure what to think at this point, may have to look at 21Kal, or maybe one of the players who strongly defended JJ to make it seem like they were concerned about shooting a human.

Well... that definitely does not surprise me that JJ was NOT the Seer. In so many games, people use that reasoning to try to save themselves ~ I just don't understand why... Yes he is 12 ~ but, he is not a Newbie.... he knows how this game is played. There are certain "players" in this game (wolves, Seer, active humans, inactive humans and players who really .... grr) ok ... I feel better now.

I must also say on 21kaldridge21's behalf... I would like to know who else in this game REALLY was not thinking the same thing about JJ's last two posts..... It was 21kaldridge who posted her thoughts first.... maybe not voted first. This game is about throwing ideas out there and discussing things. Kinda glad I actually copied and posted the voting list. Wish I would have done that in the first round as well.

I briefly read thru some of the posts... however, I did notice EDITS of posts but not exactly sure what was edited.... so I will re-read posts and vote after my son's choir program.

casey8jj has posted only twice in the game. Once per round and both were late postings.

In round one she placed a SPV for bookworm, nothing suspicious there as we all vote randomly in the first round.
What may be worth noting is her second round posting and vote:

casey8jj wrote:
..I missed a lot.
21K started the JJ conspiracy, so that's where my vote is going

She voted for someone based solely on their vote and for starting a majority. Since we did not know for certainty that JJ was a human, Not sure why she would vote for the person who voted for him? . Unless she knew he was a human, and wanted to plant in our minds right away who started the lynch mob. .. (that sounds much more convoluted here than it did in my mind)

Well, having just come from a WTB game where JJ was the boss, I can say that I was hesitant to believe that it was a last-minute strategic post by a wolf. I just figured it was JJ being, well, JJ. And about 21K posting first, I admit that JJ's posts had to be discussed. Usually, however, it's a human that brings up suspicious posts because the wolves don't want to cast suspicions on themselves by posting first. That's why I think HABS is a wolf, rather than 21K.

I didn't mean anything negative by the comment just that sometimes JJ seems to overreact to certain things and he will learn as he gets older not to let certain things get to him.
Lots of the younger players are very good at the game, and some not so much. I don't think I am all that good at it, and I am EONS older than you.

Another player who has been voting but not posting is Bookworm4god. she has not posted more than a sentence or two per round just to state "SPV" and doesn't even bother to say for whom she is voting.
Last round she did make a point of suggesting that the "odd" posts some of us saw were just JJ, as he is odd.
It always makes me question it when players are only mildly active and don't say enough for anyone to read anything into what they say.
I too think I am going to call it a night. My usual rising time is 0500am and I still have at least 2-3 hrs of stuff to do around the house before i go to bed.
