Yes deb. That was a long time ago. I always played in snowys games, supers games and for a while ticks games. I left for a while and just remembered that I loved playing and decided to see how things were. Looking forward to playing again.

Deb-Usually Blondie and PYTHON vote each other--it's sort of tradition. A funny one...

Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

We're hanging around NYC-New Hyde Parkish, but we go as far East as Bethpage sometimes (my hometown) At the moment, we are in Canada (Toronto) on vacation. Should I change my flag?
How long will you be in Toronto JJ? Of all the places you could have picked to go ... why T O (what we all call it)? I live less than 2 hrs from there and haven't been in close to 10 years. My feelings on Toronto (said "Toe Ron No" btw, you do NOT pronounce the second T) are best summed up below:
I HATE the SkyDome and the CN Tower too, I hate Nathan Philips Square and the Ontario Zoo, the rent's too high and the air's unclean, the beaches are dirty and the people are mean. And the Women are big and the men are dumb and the children are loopy because they live in a slum .... In Toronto, Ontario" .
The documentary "Let's All Hate Toronto" also makes some valid points. lol

Getting ready to go to bed, glad I checked one more time before turning in. Superman, it has been a while, glad to see back. BTW did you get any damage from Hurricane Sandy? We were very lucky here in the western part of the State, but your neck of the woods sure got hit hard.
Anyhow, SPV (Seer Protection Vote) for deb since she doesn't already have a vote on her, but most likely will change to an inactive, if there are any.
Good night folks, will be back in the morning.

Hi Brandon. Yes, it's been a while. We got hit hard but thankfully with minimal damage. A tree fell and ripped a portion of my fence and another fell and landed on my car. Not a total loss but gave her some decent battle scars. I think that it builds character for the old lady. It really is horrible hearing some of the dreadful stories of people and friend of mine losing their entire house. It was a crazy couple of days but thank God everyone is safe.
Glad to hear that you turned out fine.
Anyway, I'm going to SPV for mrsblondie.

Okay now for the questions to earn a clue. As stated it is AL about me this round. EVERYTHING is searchable though. You don't really have to know me to know any of it.
1) My mother is the second oldest. None of her father, mother, older brother or herself were born in Canada. They were all born in the same small town. Yet despite not being born as citzens nor applying for citizenship, both of her parents and her brother all died as citizens and my mother currently holds it. Where is her family from?
2) My older brother (who is more than a year older) and I were both born in the same hospital OUTSIDE of Canada, yet despite this fact we were both born as citizens of Canada and of NO OTHER COUNTRY how is this possible?
3) The country in which i was born had only existed for 24 years when I was born, and has not existed for over 20. Where was I born?
4) In 2004, at the age of 31, I underwent emergency bran surgery to correct a neurological condition commonly referred to as "Water on the Brain" what is its proper name?
5) As a result of the surgery I lost most of my vision and am now legally blind. In my former life I had a really good job in which a working knowledge of Latin helped me understand the commonly used abbreviations of: OD, BID, PO, NPO, HS, and PRN. In what field did I work?
6) In the city in which I live, like in any city there are many different subdivisions and areas of town. We have two very distinct socioeconomic divisions that include many different neighborhoods. I grew up (and still live in) an area of town known (at least to those who live there as "WOW" which stands for "West of Wonerland", we are the "Haves". There is a much more widely known acronym for the area of town where the "Have nots" live. It is known as EOA, which stands for East of (this street).
WORK AS A TEAM to solve all these questions. If they are all answered correctly by the end of the round. A CLEARING CLUE will be given at the beginning of the next round.
If you are struggling too much I may give some cryptic hints. (Don't wnat to make it too easy).

TALK BOX invites have been issued. If you did not get one you are a wolf. To those in TBs this means you know for sure your boxmate is human. SEER: based on feedback from the poll in round 0 - DO NOT reveal yourself to your partner.

...I live in Toronto .
Hey BJ I didn't make up the song just quoted it Though it is often attributed to "Arrogant Worms", it is actually by "Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie" I also didn't make up the documentary "Let's All Hate Toronto" or the sentiment. Most of the country does not like that city. While Torontonians like to point out it is the largest city in the country and 5 million (includes the entire GTA) live there, I like to point out that 30 million DON'T.
I did live for a short time (5 years) in Mississauga and that was bad enough. Couldn't wait to get back to London.
Holy, why are the questions so HARD?!
Really, they are not, you of all people, being Canadian should be able to answer number 1.
As I said, every question is absolutely answerable with Google. Paying attention to some things I have said earlier in this game will help you greatly.

Oh the immunity question is simple. But like I said when I posted it, you'll have to fire up the wabak machine to answer it. I learned it all in high school. Just keep in mind when I was in school, there was only ONE computer lab and it had 40 computers (and I went to the "snotty little rich kid" school, so we had more computers than most schools did). Back in those days only the hardcore geeks took any computer classes and programming in this language was the only class available. We learned to type on electric typewriters. WOW does that make me feel old. lol

To bad im in middle school ^
I didn't know you were that young slammngirl! So far, only one person has even attempted the Immunity Challenge. NO one has tried to answer the trivia questions yet. Forget the act they are about me, just try to answer the questions. All but #1 can be answered using Google, most can be answered without any further effort than to punch it into the search bar. You won't even have to go into any of the results. Just read the short summary on the results page.
Number 1 requires a minimal knowledge of history.
Number 2 is common sense, in what circumstance would this occur
Number 3 again a bit of historical knowledge coupled with common sense
Number 4 - same thing. Figure out the years the country existed then you should be abble to figure out the country
Number 5 an EASY Google Serach
Number 6 - see #5

IMPORTANT NOTICE
*************************************
IT has come to my attention that not all TB invites have been accepted and as such there are boxes with only one member in them. If you are sitting in a box on your own, let me know and I will PM you the identity of the other person in your box. That way even if they don't join, at lest you'll still know who one other human is. It is not fair that just because you have an inactive partner you be at a disadvantage to the other players.
EDIT: I have changed the titles of the TBs to the names of the players they contain (or should contain).

YES THAT IS CORRECT! Newfoundland did not become part of Canada until 1949. Prior to that time it was a British Colony called "The Confederation of Newfoundland" it even had its own stamps and money (I still have some). Joey Smallwood (the premeire of NFLD who was responsible for bringing it to Canada was actually my grandmother's uncle-in-law! After joining confederation all Newoundland citizens were automatically granted Canadian citizenship. Much the way Alaskans and Hawaiians were given US citizenship.
NOT QUITE - there are instances in which a child born to Canadian parents would be given citizenship of the country where he/she was born and also entitled to Canadian citizenship. I was never a citizen of any country other than Canada.

Alaska is a state not a country
I know Alaska is a state of America, but just so I don't sound really dumb from that, I was thinking along the lines of Alaska being part of Canada until the states bought it from them, being that if you were born there you may still be a Canadian citizen while technically being born in the states.

Oh okay now that makes more sense. I am pretty sure the US bought Alaska from Russia, but may be wrong. It was never part of Canada. And Alaska was admitted to the union in 1959. I know I've made comments about being 'old' but I'm not that old!!! LOL - I'm still in category 3!

Still 3 hrs to go and you have all but two questions answered! I'm impressed, but as I said they can all be solved with a bit of effort.

Does this mean that the country has not existed for 22 years (aka since 1990)? I do not really get whats being asked
YES Babyjuice, that is right, the country ceased to exist in 1990. IT had only existed for 24 years at the time of my birth (you know how old I am, do the math)

This is true and I apologize for that. Like I said I hadn't expected the game to have started yet (or not be as old as it was when I got here. We didn't even have enough players when I turned my computer off for the night. Guess I should have checked in before I went to bed (around midnight) or brought my tablet to bed with me. Then I spent the earlier part of the morning helping my husband organize the basement, after weeks of nagging him to do it, he was hard at it at 5am so I thought I should lend him a hand.
You are getting there, but not quite

Happy ever after in the marketplace, Desmond lets the children lend a hand. Molly stays at home and does her pretty face, and in the evening she's the singer with the band!

Nope, as I said my brother and I were both born at the same hospital, albeit over a year apart. If you were born to vacationing parents you would be a citizen of the country in which you are bor and would have to get citizenship of your heme country later. However since my parents were not in Germany by choice (basically they were told a month after they wed, they were told "In 7 weeks you'll be leaving for Germany for 3 years". M
