Just gonna lock in a vote for LH for now. either we should damn login times or inactivity.

At least in this game we could discuss elsewhere during the night.

SPV for now, predicting Seer-related carnage from here on in.

I have divined smithy as a heterosexual

Hey Est, is your suspicion of chunnie legit, or was that more of a reaction to his pressure against you?

Sounds to me like you're lying, Putter... I mean uh yes yes that is true.

I'm not sure Steam realised chunnie wasn't being entirely serious with most of his theories, unless, in a hilarious bout of irony, it is in fact I that has not realised Steam wasn't being entirely serious.

Those are legit. I find his actions totally unreasonable towards me. Too defensive as I see it. Unless he's just being chunnie. I could explain further, but I've already laid out my arguments last round, I'd wait if there's anything else.

To be honest, I'm in no way to be pressured right now in this game since I really did not intend to go back playing this game again for long, I just thought I'd let your game start already with a missing player. I usually play this when I have all day to review past games especially since I have no grounded experience playing with almost all of you. Tomorrow I'd be going back to work and I just hope I'd still be able to post something meaty.

For now, I'd stay my vote with chunnie and try to find other suspects and discuss other matters from Night 1.

Obviously the Wolves chose Habs for suspicion as Seer (assuming the Wolves' votes went in). I was actually reviewing some of Habs' games and I see her round 1 posts as simply a roleless human wanting to pretend she has a role. Hopefully I'm right. Or else we had lost the Seer. I believe the moderator here usually reveals the identity of the eaten, correct?

It is harder to find Wolf tracks in this kind of format since the Wolves could freely discuss their plans elsewhere. However, relying too much on planned discussions might give us (hopefully) a clue to their identity.

Ow, and I realized that the voting mechanics here in braingle doesn't actually help us record switch votes which I believe are very helpful in improving our game. So I hope it would help if I would copy-paste here the updated vote list every time that I post.

So as of [timestamp above], the list looks like this:

Estam voted for chunnie
Evita voted for bookworm4god
HarryPutter voted for Longhorn_fan
Smithy voted for Jayo

You mean like faking debates in round 1?

In all honesty, I only got a chance to skim Estam's post about chunnie very briefly. I, like, Putter, was unsure whether or not it was a complex ruse at the time anyway. haha In my opinion, though, chunnie so far has been fairly normal, for himself, but I wouldn't mind looking at that post again. The idea may have merit.

In other news, I'm pretty sure I'll be gone most of the day. I might be back around 3 or 4 (eastern), so don't jump all over me if I don't get back til later tonight.

Actually yes. It is not too uncommon for both Wolves to do that. However I find doing that in round 1 too long a shot. Especially here in a game with only 3 or 4 Wolves. Usually that happens when there's a chance to establish innocence for the remaining Wolves, they sacrifice one of them to make it look like the one who started it is soooo Human. But round 1 is a long shot because usually the one who initiates the shooting gets to be suspected after a few more rounds. And it is not easy to do that in a game with a Seer, unless there are other roles involved that the Wolves possess. To illustrate (just for the sake of being able to post something meaty):

Let's say both chunnie and I are Wolves.
I decided to say "Hey, chunnie, I'll pretend to suspect you so that they would think I'm a Human."

So Round 1 went as planned.
Chunnie died as Wolf. Estam looked like Human.

Then comes Round 2. What would everyone think?
"Oh, Estam must be Human because he killed a Wolf."
Others though "But it must have been a setup. Anyway, benefit of the doubt, I would at least hunt for someone else."

And then round goes on and on and on.

At later round, nobody feels anymore that Estam is like a Human and since they haven't caught any Wolves yet, they start suspecting Estam. And Estam says "No, I can't be Wolf, because remember the very very first round which happened long ago? I caught a Wolf. I cant be Wolf. No kill me. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh." Blah blah.

And since there's one lesser Wolf against a Seer that's alive, you calculate the remaining rounds, include the players that are not discussion shooting in the dark, do the math, it's a long shot to winning the game compared to the Wolf overpowering the Humans by number.

However, there is a good way of achieving that as a Wolf. That is, I could simply accuse the chunnie as being suspicious the entire game but not actually vote for him to be shot. This way we both get to stay alive and in case chunnie gets shot in a later round I get my desired innocence. It's a shorter shot.

And so, you might interpret my actions as such. So to find out my identity (and to tell you that I'm not using the strategy above) it would be better if my suspect, chunnie, gets shot early in the game.

There are many such tactics and wolfie tricks, but they will become apparent later in the game. None seem to have proved infallible.

HABS was just as tasty as I thought she would be. I'm still licking my lips. Alas, her flesh didn't taste quite as good as a seer's, and it was rather chewy, so I believe one may still be among us. Who shall we eat tonight chunnie?

Yeah. After you started all the pointing towards me, ignore it. I read it that the other Wolves must have helped you find a way out of it, just not talk about it again and let the issue subside.

Not really, I just dont want a wolf/seer/wily human to back out of an ambitious plan because they fear I might come in and point out they are lying, oh and yes I wrote that initially

I could have made estems post in 3 short sentences....
1.chunnie and I are both wolves
2 chunnie and I are NOT both wolves
3. I think chunnie is a wolf

and Harry I divined Smithy as a "Tea sipping, big Govt, Metrosexual"
and while he are on the subject of Harry...Harry please dont poison Evitas mind...she actually has one...
Kaching no one claimed estems post wasn't understandable but GOOD GRIEF...I think Spider and Smithy are his students...

With all that said very simply and entertainingly (estem)...I will stick with "The Feet"...she tends to disapear and might explain the long night.....

I know I can't complain because I've been missing most of this round, but I was expecting more anarchy than this, though perhaps the irrepressible strings of the puppet master aka seer are sensibly obscured in private messages

Gonna throw in another vote for bookworm because anarchy.
