First post! and now...goodnight! z.z
I'm going to take over this post for mod use.
Psych questions will be up in the morning. I'm not going to bother posting them now. Sorry. Too late. Must go to bed.
Ok, I'm back. Unfortunately, several of you lovely people has been delinquent and have failed to do your homework assignment. You are starting to act like my students. As such, you will get one psych answer right now, and I will post two psych answers next round for the other wolf. Remember, the questiion was: Since your favorite mod has been gone for the past two years, please fill her in on what you have been doing.
What have I been doing for the last two years?
Oh, there is far too much to tell you in a paltry few lines of text
Surely, you jest
Life is so short, some say you only live once
The question is do you really understand this, or do you only say YOLO, you dunce.
Living life to its fullest, making friends
Finding those who will lend support to the end
Does this answer suffice? Are you at last satisfied?
I am not a poet, I can surely confide
And I surely don't have the time to develop such skills
But for you, I think I can, I think I will
I have spent the last months getting myself schooled
Eating my life before its even been cooled.
So what's your story? Where have you been?
Within this text, you will find more than you likely ever will ken
I couldn't answer in a few lines, but maybe I have in sixteen?
From this my name can you ween?
Answer to come next round.
Right after I left, I got married. We have been spending a lot of time working on our house and doing some traveling. We got a puppy last year, he is a year old this weekend.
By the way, the purple is me, your lovely mod. Not a wolf.

Since I couldn't post in Round Zero, due to being the last entry, I'm taking this moment to say "Hello" to all of you. So... Hello to all of you.
Glad the game has started. Will vote after more have posted.
Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

Hi dfamina, glad you joined us.
Will wait for the psych questions... and my vote will have to wait until later today as I am off to my brothers' to help him with his room addition. The fun never ends.

I read that as room audition and was quite confused... I need coffee.

Wow, I think this is my first werewolf game in two years or something...
Anyway, I wanted to give everybody a heads-up and apology that I have a lot of work due in the first half of the upcoming week, so while I'll be doing my best to log in at least a couple of times a round, I may be slightly less active at first even if this game serves as my procrastination tactic.
I'll check back for psych questions in a couple of hours.

I should be around on and off throughout the day. I'll post more once the psych questions have been posted. ^_^

Even after, (or maybe it actually is a causal relationship) reading your statement, tuku, reading back as I looked for what you had read that way, I also read it as room audition... xD Though how can you drink COFFEE?!
Welcome to the wild world of TWG, dfam! Although I have played with several of you, I also see several new faces, so, I'm looking forward to see this game played out.
O_o Deleted post, what was that about?
*also waits impatiently for the psych question and tries to not pace*

I'm not going to wait for the psych questions. I am going to throw a bit of entertainment in and be the first to vot even if it is a SPV.
EDIT: I voted for Tan. Subject to change.
Stewie.

Ok, guys. There is your psychs. Sorry for the delay.
In other news... I'm slightly worried, tuku, about you wanting to consume me. Sounds like wolfish behavior to me! *runs and hides*

Looks like only a single psych... A poem though?
There seems to be a fair amount within this answer, but not very much in the way of specifics.
Line by line during my lunch break!
1) What have I been doing for the last two years? - Not much to get from this... Rephrase of the question
2) Oh, there is far too much to tell you in a paltry few lines of text - The speaker considers their life to be busy, not likely to answer questions with not much
3) Surely, you jest - Interesting word choice, jest/text, I guess it works, comma usage
4) Life is so short, some say you only live once - Person wants to get everything out of life
5) The question is do you really understand this, or do you only say YOLO, you dunce. - Period, couple chances to use them up to this point, intermittent usage. Critical of others?
6) Living life to its fullest, making friends - More of the same, friends seem important, making them too?
7) Finding those who will lend support to the end - Definition of friendship here?
Does this answer suffice? Are you at last satisfied? - Some relatively unusual words here, vocabulary is good, suffice, in fact, not the only one
9) I am not a poet, I can surely confide - Lowish self esteem? Or poking fun at themselves?
10) And I surely don't have the time to develop such skills - Busy again
11) But for you, I think I can, I think I will - Playful personality
12) I have spent the last months getting myself schooled - Schooled? School? Or beaten at something?
13) Eating my life before its even been cooled. - Best of the moment
14) So what's your story? Where have you been? - Curiousity
15) Within this text, you will find more than you likely ever will ken - Ken? Probably very critical thinker
ken
/ken/
Noun
One's range of knowledge or sight.
Verb

Synonyms

16) I couldn't answer in a few lines, but maybe I have in sixteen? - Playful again
17) From this my name can you ween? - Ween, interesting word choice there, could there be some hints to name as well?
Well, that's all I have time for atm, I really want that second clue, and will be back later to look into what this breakdown means.

Well, let's see, the two lines I pulled from the rather long answer were:
"Living life to its fullest, making friends" and "I have spent the last months getting myself schooled."
So, my guess is that our wolf if someone who sees the glass as half-full. The latter phrase could mean that either the wolf is currently in school/college/grad school or that someone is playing off the word in order to incriminate someone who is in school. For instance, maybe orange wolf gets schooled in checkers or playing basketball. The students among us are 4demo, tuku, Stewie, TanCW, and myself, at least. Other than us five, I do not know if anyone has been schooling as an actual student. I am inclined to think that the wolf may have meant it as a student, because with 4 other students out there, they could hide pretty well. If the wolf isn't a traditional student, I would say Limerick would be a possibility for writing something like that. However, since TanCW has not been active thus far and is a viable candidate for having written that, I will throw an initial vote in for him.
EDIT: Didn't see Limerick's post before I posted. I agree, though, on your breakdown, Limer. Unfortunately, anyone can fake a large vocabulary: it's called the Thesaurus.

But Mochs, I love coffee! Don't make me choose between you guys!
Now an attempt at logic.....
The fact that the wolf used 'YOLO' means:
1. the person is relatively young, probably teens-30's?. I know my parent's generation and older have no idea what it means.
2. the person is into pop culture.
3. The person has kids in their teens/early 20's... so let's average 38-50?
which means teens-like 50.... unfortunately I think we all fall under that and this brainstorm was of no use.
Although, the wolf's grammar is quite good, so i would knock out most people below the age of 30... But that only sorta helps because I only know a few of your ages and most of you have quite good grammar, which, frankly, is a nice change from the world.
Partly because of the age, partly because his name is a type of poem, and partly because I have no idea, I'm voting for limerick.

If you ask me, I think "schooled" has a different meaning in the poem. Considering that it relates to living life, I would say that "schooled" refers to have learned some of life's lessons the hard way: by living through them. Maybe they were particularly hard lessons, or that they were just hit with them in unexpected ways.
Especially when you consider the following line: "Eating my life before it's been cooled". Perhaps rushing into things? Trying to do too much at once? A real go-getter, this one.

I read the poem and thought to myself, this is most likely someone who is fairly young, a person who likes to have fun and joke, and likes to write. I made a mental list of who would fit my thoughts, and it is sort of like looking at most of the players in this game... myself and at least one person not fitting one of those statements... I am not fairly young - only in my mind... and a gentleman would never point to the lady who is probably in this same classification.

Most very recently i looked up yolo because i had seen it everywhere even on a shirt at walmart and honestly never used that phrase before and never the acro
Sticking wih my vote for now because i am not sure at all of the promts but certainly enjoy the way you guys have different ideas to toss around.

In a 15 or 20 person game, it's safe to go with a SPV, but with a 10 person game, we only get 3 or 4 rounds to get it right; so SPV is out. It's fine to have one or two small majorities the first round... but hopefully at least the people on the chopping block fit the idea of the psych question answer.
I can not help but think that the answer given was a poem.
Limerick really did have a nice breakdown of the poem... a couple things in it I never even thought of as a possible answer to what was said. YOLO, never heard of it... though I have been known to be behind in the times.
Bottom line... the poem sort of ended with a taunt - sort of like, I said who I was in this. Anyway, that was my take.
I have to vote for Limerick, I think the breakdown was just a bit too knowledgeable of what it was supposed to mean. Like he wanted to make sure we all know what was on his mind. Of course, someone could have seen he was playing in this game and just used the answer to state a poem to direct it towards him. Sorry if this is so, but for this first round at this time, I have to go with my first instinct.

I agree with you, I don't like throwing out a SPV in a 10-man game, but the fact is, I don't know most of these folks at all. Therefore, I can't compare the idiosyncrasies of the wording of that poem to the way certain people talk. My best reasoning at this point would be "Yeah, so-and-so had pretty solid reasoning, I'll jump on that wagon." Which I don't fancy at all. Probably a poor excuse, and it won't provide any sort of justice to those who get eaten, even if it happens to be me.
I agree with what's been generally said about how the orange wolf's answer could refer to many of the players here. I've been playing around with trying to unscramble the first letter of each line, which is the most obvious way I could think of a name being hidden. So far haven't gotten anything useful out of it (though I haven't been working on it that long yet), but figured I'd throw this out there in case it inspires any other ideas.
I'm also not sure what to make of the lack of blue wolf's response. My initial thought was that this might point toward dfamina, who was the last to join the game and therefore had the shortest timeframe to submit an answer. However, this seems much too obvious and it could just as easily be someone who joined earlier but forgot to send an answer or real life caught up for a couple of days and didn't have time to do so. Does anybody know whether anyone here has a slight "history" of not submitting first round psych questions, perhaps?
Since I don't feel strongly enough about Limerick or TanCW right now, I'm going to tie the vote for dfamina for now.
Edit: Just wanted to clarify my wording -- Limerick and TanCW each have two votes right now. I don't suspect either enough as a wolf right now to let the plurality vote stay on them (and definitely not to cast a third vote), so I've voted for dfamina (who has one vote, two after mine) to increase the tie. Tuku also has one vote, so I chose dfamina at random, not for the lack-of-response reason mentioned above. I probably will be back on before the round ends and might change my vote later.

Although I certainly can't argue against the logic used against me, I do think RG is right, I do think that we have to be very careful with these votes, even this early in the game. I am a little too easy to peg with poetry
In any case, further thoughts. I agree that the yolo quote suggests someone fairly young and internet savvy, can't say I really know TanCW or dfamina all that well enough for me to think they are the orange wolf, neither so far based on their activity level really seems to fit.
What I find curious though is the fact that the blue wolf didn't get their response in.
I don't know, but I can't see most people, if anyone, in this game, as likely to not get their psych in if they had the chance. This leads me also towards TanCW who hasn't logged in and hasn't been active. TanCW has to be my leaning right now, I am on my way home and will reevaluate.
ETA: Okay, I am home now and ready to actually be able to multitask. (Gotta love the iPad, but when you want to be able to do more than one thing at a time, it is rather difficult) The more I look, the less I understand how TanCW isn't falling under more real suspicion. I mean, he also only had one comment in the opening round which came before Mochs added the psych prompt to the initial post... TanCW hasn't been online since yesterday and is simply the most viable to have not submitted a psych prompt. Though I can't quite agree with Witty labeling him as the orange wolf given what we have, I can see him being the blue wolf. If anything, lack of suspicion seems to me to be unnatural. RGW seems to be working quite hard to find a "real vote", but seems to be missing the obvious vote. I find that also a bit suspicious, but for now... have to go with my strongest read:
Vote for TanCW

Limerick, what you wrote is basically correct. However, I have played quite a few games where psych questions have been a part of the game and players do have a tendancy to "curve" their answers to the players in the game. I even, sort of, stated a reason that you may not be a wolf in this game, even though I did vote for you.
Tan is definately a suspect as the blue wolf... but sometimes, it is better (in my humble opinion) to locate the active wolf instead of the inactive wolf.
Am I pushing for a vote... yes / no. Unlike many players, I will not push for a vote on a player just because of a hunch... such as you feel about Tan (though this easily could be a correct vote). However, this is a fine line, sometimes it take several hunches to make some convinced of pushing a vote for a suspect. I do, however, feel that as a human, we can not all just vote for someone not already voted for because we do not want to shoot an innocent person... and would rather have at least a best judgement vote going. To me (as stated before) is the real difference between a 10 person game and a 15 or 20 person game. There is little room for error in a 10 person game.
I was a wolf in a 10 preson game some time ago, and the other wolf was shot in the first round. I won, having survived everyone else. Why, because of players unwillingness to follow their gut feeling and to join into a majorty.
In any case, i am not asking anyone to jump on my vote; and Tan may very well be shot this round. I do think it's not a bad vote, but I can not go along with it at this point.

Randy, you are making it easier for me.... I didn't remember if you prefered people to call you Randy or if that was not common knowledge. It felt so weird calling you RGW.
