Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

Didn't realise I was the last to join but glad to start it. As stated in the previous game, I have my doubts about this but am always up to try something new.

lat time i checked we were like 4 players anyways, spv fpr somebody
It's when you draw it you realize what it really looks like

The idea is fine though I dont think it should be as overt as I divined xxx to be yyy. More like little, (Har is human) thrown in throughout the round.
This is pretty much what should happen in a standard game anyway. (Note, should.) The only real innovation of this method is the rigorous way it is being applied, and that is exactly what I believe could cause problems. But no point talking about it when we're playing the damned thing out now.

So are we being subtle or overt?

Yes, despite the game only starting an hour ago, Sky and I, like any good chess player, have already played the entire game out. We have it in the bag!

To clarify, my SPVD post was only an example. You don't need to be as overt as I made it, but you must point out at least one player and their ID. Whether it is explicit or implicit is up to you, though I personally think something explicit is best for experimental purposes which is why I used that example.
In response to Sky from R0: I can't verify if the seer is honest, so the seer can lie and I'd have no idea (if their guess was right or they claimed to have divined a dead human, for example). I'd prefer if the seer was honest, but the truth should be revealed at the seer's discretion based on how they're reading the game.

Yeah, for the love of Science, we should just make it explicit in this experiment.
Oh look, only JJ hasn't voted... guess where my vote is going?
(Odds on JJ being the Seer?)

10/1 but it's twice as likely that he's a wolf so I've no problem voting him too with so much of the round gone. He'd only put another random person in the tie with him anyway, IF he turns up

Yeah, makes more sense, as the format evolves we can make it less obvious. I vote for explicit posts this game

The question was rhetorical, I do know the odds, but in a "sod's law" kind of way (or Murphy's law for our transatlantic friends), the unmerciful WWG gods will convene to make JJ the Seer in our seer-centric experiment.
I had concluded that in a 10 player game that an inactive vote is too wasteful a tactic but in this game I'm more concerned with assessing the SPVD than actually winning so I think it's a good option.
