Thanks Jayo!
Nothing really to report right now, but please take a look at the last post of Round 1 for a clarification of some of the rules as requested in one of the boxes.
And one last piece of business before we continue with our game: A Very Special Award for SIRHAR as our first player shot in the game. Please accept this token as our way saying "Thanks for coming out"!
There ya go Har - your very first Participant Award - Doesn't it make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

Voting Sader at this stage and a thank you to the wolves for not letting night drag out!
Sader was the only one to not vote last round and was as deserving of a bullet as Har in my book
Subject to change I guess, but I'm happy to go for a non-voter

Well, I do agree that if your not going b0 vote, then what's the point in playing.
I can understand if it's you first game but other than that, well there is not really any excuse for it.
I had a quick luck and noticed he has only played 4 games in 2 and a half years, so I'm going to let it slide for now, but I am keeping my eye on him. I also wonder why the wolves chose to take out boo? I would check, but I am too tired to look into it right now.
I shall also hold off voting until later, as peer usual.
So until the morning.

LOL I thought you'd like it LH - I did it right after we had the discussion about them, just left the date blank until I was ready to post it.

I will SPV for now as well. Voting Skybet. No reason
SPV for deb. No suspects at this point.

Still nothing to go on, well poop, Though it's still early days, these SPV's while helping the seer, are not getting us anywhere closer to finding the wolves. Though with no leads, it's tough.
I guess I will join the SPV's for now, unless something more suspicious comes up, then I may reconsider.

My vote remains the same. Everyone SPV's... including myself
Just under 9 hours left in the round and we have 3 non voters:

It takes 7 votes to select someone to be shot with the silver bullet.

Nobody has been shot with the silver bullet yet.
Would suggest switching to one of them rather than simply SPV-ing
My vote is already on a non voter but I could switch to another non voter if we still have a MoO when I get home from work

I am not even going to bothr with a non voter this go arround. The night did NOT time out so there is no need to vote someone who is "inactive" at this point IMO......
I am kinda wondering about Stewie......AND also I did not like Scrub's post about Drum last round.....It was just odd to me, that is just my thoughts.
Stewie just has some strange wording in his posts that have me wondering...espically the last one regarding the SPV helping the seer but not helping us find the wolves. That is a given at this point in the game and I find in my previous experience that wolves tend to make comments about the wolves more often than humans do in early rounds.

True Longhorn.
The only reason I stated it, is for the new and inexperienced players, like sader and kaipper Drum and haheem. It's a given to all experienced players, but might not be if your just starting to learn the ropes.

Interesting you place Kaiper in the inexperienced list as he has played more than 20 games of WWG. Faheem and sader have both played sevaral games as well but both have an inactive history, espically faheem. The only tru noob is Drum........
I wonder???

My apologies, I first stated an SPV for Deb, but forgot to lock in my vote. Since she now has another vote, I am placing an SPV for someone that has no vote, and that is Drummajor.

It was a coincidence in timing LH. Snow first post came on while I was Still typing mine. I have adjusted my vote. More importantly, everyone has voted except Sader. Time to start making decisions.
longhorn, you askede last round why I thought drummajor was probably human. My analysis was wrong for this game. The talkboxes allow is to protect our known friends, so you could have humans voting voting to save players too.
For this round, I am suspicious of Jayo for casting a vote on Sader

What is the suspicion against scrub? Did I miss something?
There are now two votes on sader, the only player to be cleared. Night did not time out. He did not log until well after this round began. I am voting to protect sader - and yes, I am casting a second vote on Jayo.
I don't think Jayo is a wolf, I can see where he is suspicious, but I just don't get the wolf vibes from him. But do I change my vote to protect him if he does end up being a wolf, it's an awkward one.
You get this every game, the situation where you have the choice of shooting a clear who is inactive and not contributing to the game, or the potentially helpful in later rounds human(if he is human).
I will leave my vote where it is. But if Jayo ends up shot and a human, well, Let's just say it will make an interesting next round conversation.

My vote for LH started as just a SPV, but later in the round I got suspicious. My vote next round may remain the same as it was this round, but it is more for a reason than SPV.
I don't know why she is so suspicious lately, but she is giving me the vibe that she is WIHC or a regular wolf.
My vote remains for LH.

Did not mean to ignore you Longhorn,
I have found that if humans get lucky and put a wolf in a majority in round 1, wolves will counter with a second majority. then humans have to decide what to do. If, however, humans are put into majorities, then the wolves do nothing for they don't have to expose themselves. But in this game, it is different. Within each talkbox humans know each other. I would think they would come to each other's protection and create a alternate majority. So it may not be just wolves manipulating what they know about the game. It could be humans.
Last round, when no one stepped forward to create an alternate majority to drummajor, I assumed she was human. But because of the dynamic of the talkboxes, that may not be the case. Humans could have created a separate majority as well as wolves. So I am saying she could have been a wolf because no human chose to come to her defense. Normally I think this is highly unlikely. In other words, my first assumption was wrong. We only know sader is human at this time.

Hey guys, sorry really tired today so not going to put a huge amount of considered thought into this. But having read through the round, I think it's fair to put my vote on the only non-voter. For failing to protect the seer. Which is inexcusable.

The entire Drum thing is way off. Doe no one even read posts and address them???
Fleet??? You are a wolf too arn't you? LOL I got you guys!!
EDIT: And to vote to shoot someone who is cleared, inactive or not, is just asanine!
The wolves are leading the votes astray from them.
EDIT 2: Thank you for the explination Scrub.
I am VERY LEARY OF THE SADER VOTERS!!!! Why are you voting a cleared player??? Yes, it is a "bad tatic" to use times to clear but none the less it is a fact. An inactive can be detramental in later rounds but this is round 2 and we are going to give it to the wolves.

He logged in yesterday, he is NOT cleared
A player who fails to protect the seer is not at all useful, and is what gives the wolves a narrower choice of seer suspects. Better we shoot them instead of a pot-shot at an active player, than keep a player who isn't planning on participating in. This makes no sense. Where is the proof they AREN'T a wolf? or the WIHC?

Scrub, I detest the use of log in times (in games I mod, I usually forbid it in the rules of the game)
What is the point of wolves eating quickly of people can be lamely cleared
Long run non voters help wolves and are detremental to Seer
I have no idea exactly when anyone was online so I am not ruling out either you or Saider being a wolf
Whatever his role, Saider is not helping

He is not even "cleared" anyway, despite several people's lame tactics. So the point is moot.

The rules say:
There are already certain measures to stop you from being able to do this as adeptly as some would like. But the game is clearly not supposed to be played by looking at people's profiles and seeing when/how long it's been since they have logged in. This is an external source of information that is not supposed to be used, otherwise this information would be given on the voting page. There is no skill or fun in clicking on people's user pages and eliminating suspects this way. Lively discussion is the way forward for everyone to enjoy the game.
We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.
Because of the "online now" list at the bottom of the website, the end of the night round will be delayed by several hours to prevent players from figuring out who the Werewolves are based on who is online when the round ends.

There is no skill or fun in clicking on people's user pages and eliminating suspects this way. Lively discussion is the way forward for everyone to enjoy the game.

on a lighter note. did anybody else see the play that created the penalty kick in yesterday's El Salvador/Haiti game? The striker should be suspended for what he did on that play!

No scrubb. I can't say that I did.
Until just now when I watched it on youtube. Yeah it was really bad.
that's what'swrong with football, I remember when it was a good honest sport with real rough stars. Now it's turning into a how about Drama queens.

Stewie, this is my 19th WWG, so I know how the rules go.

I hear what you are saying Skybet, but that is not the way it is. Look at last round with Sirhar. Even you used your knowledge of his inactivity to defend the change in your vote. Several players have looked to see how experienced we are. As far as the computer protection rule is concerned, I know of players who use logins of present moments to find wolves. In my last game, Har implored somebody who was on line at the exact same time as him to vote with him. People use these tidbits of knowledge all the time.
The rules say:
There are already certain measures to stop you from being able to do this as adeptly as some would like. Because of the "online now" list at the bottom of the website, the end of the night round will be delayed by several hours to prevent players from figuring out who the Werewolves are based on who is online when the round ends.

As do I, it is lame. Is that the only way you can clear someone? Put on your big boy pants and thinking cap, and use reason and deduction to come to your conclusions.
I have done so in the past and would have here, but there were so many other "rules" I wanted to endure you knew about, I just plumb forgot. While I discourage log in times as I did not forbid it, I am not changing the rules now, but I know most of the players on here don't like them either.
Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.
Scrub, I detest the use of log in times

in games I mod, I usually forbid it in the rules of the game

Wow! Lot's of posts in this game. I guess I will go check out the TB once more.
My vote remains for LH.. I guess it's just an SPV

Stewie - thanks for looking. I like how referees protect the offense more than they used to. There is a problem with flopping. I don't like the idea of allowing protests in situations like this, but I do think a red card after the match might be a way to deal with flopping.
log in times the only time i would use them if nights continually clock out, then i go see who hasn't been on in days
but that being said, with the mention of sader being clear not clear talk, i am afraid if we don't get rid of him we will have long nights since he has yet to make an appearance, which really is irritating, come on man show up
so for that reason alone i will keep my vote as is
besides i would much rather play/win/lose with people who want to interact than those who don't

He is obviously not the LIHC, and if he is the seer he ain't doing us any good. I just hate giving a round to the wolves. Y'all make the call. I will leave my vote where it is too. I am not narcisistic, I just don't see any reason to push any more by trying a different majority. I made my case.
ok i know you don't want to shoot a human but do you know who is a wolf for sure?? or just a tad wolfy??
edit
are you mad?? is your mother in law alright?

I certainly didn't use log in times to clear/condemn people, I voted for a non-voter, which is vastly different.
