One of Jayo/Changhill is where Im leaning.

I dont neccessarily hold the sonic vote against either of them, but something about the timing of Jayo's and the way he said he didnt care which inactive was shot...Chang's unstated sneak vote on Sonic is one of those things that just has to be considered......

just gonna SPV Changster for now

also, I don't really agree with Smithy's wolves eat an inactive sentiment (and after one of them was shot I dont believe he would either) its far too crucial to hit the seer, WHY?!? would the wolves eat one of the few people who didnt vote...seems like an error, or someone easily caved to the eat the inactive request (which I still say is unreasonable)

There wasn't anything sneaky about it. Not like it was at the last min. And sonic, imo, was just as inactive as sam. Sonic made one post about an spv that was never made.

I understand that, but when you make an unstated vote on a someone in a potential 'wolf protecting majority' you may face consequences, that's the risk you run...plus as was pointed out, Sonic seemed to have just forgot to vote, Sam seemed a far more natural choice last round (as the votes thankfully went to)

my vote is very tentative for now anyway

When I made my vote, there were five non voters, so I made a choice. If you want to hold that against me, that's on you. There wasn't a natural choice, either of them would have been good shots.

You're coming into round 2 guns blazing. And you're gonna over look something. People that were active and didn't join a side and which one (or two of the wolves) that would jump on the opportunity to buss a fellow inactive wolf to clear themselves...

Chang I dont think you're understanding it right... although I might not be either... it seems to come down to 1) unstated vote and 2) sam didn't post at all, so I would agree he was the natural choice, at least thats how I read it.

You're being a little defensive here chang

throwing out a random spv

Im not sure what your last sentence is even saying...though I can read between the lines at what I think you are trying to say......

I stated twice, my vote is pretty much an SPV Plus....no reason to get yourself in a twist over it, and I also like to point out that I believe you gave Snow a little grief for an unexplained vote switch last game. Could be wrong, but thought it happened.

Im not married to the vote, but like it or not it has merit. Rushing in at that moment and hoping Sonic votes gather momentum (one inacitve is as good as another everyone else says so lets just shoot sonic) keeps iamsam from gathering steam....it's an idea with 23 hours to explore, so no, I'm doing nothing reckless, irresponsible or illogical....See yas in a few hours

If I was being defensive, I wouldn't have placed a vote against myself. If making one post (about an SPV) mean that much more than someone that doesn't post, then we just have different standards. In order for someone to be considered active (IMO), two meaningful post and one meaningful vote. Neither one met those standards. I know what spider is trying to say.

I'll give you that it was 'unstated', but the only significance that come from it being unstated is that it wasn't time stamped. The vote itself was self explanatory. Fridays are busy days for me. My longest day of school, along with RL and softball game (which we won btw).

@Spider, I am not in a twist at all. If you want to know a tell for when I am 'under pressure', it's when I am making a 'deal'. When I ask for compromise, then that means that things aren't going the way I want for better or worse. A lot of the times, it's not even to save myself. I've already proven to you that saving myself isn't anywhere near the top of my list.

I did give give Snow a little grief, but there's a difference between the vote she made and the one I did. We were in obvious different points in the game. And the motive behind my vote is obvious, but I can spell it out if you need me too

I am just telling you that there are obvious flaws in your line of thinking, and whether you recognize them in-game or not doesn't matter, just so long as you are aware of them.

If we are going to look at inactives (by Chang's above definition) than maybe we should look at Sky as well. He was inactive for most of the round, then with 5 minutes left, placed a pointless vote on a player who was doomed anyway (at the time of my post with 29 minutes left in the round iamsam had 5 votes to Sonic's
3. There was no way to save sam.

Sky did say iin that post that he was "back in Blighty" but as far asI could see made no previous mention about leaving the country. .. but that could account for his seeming inactivity for most of the round.

Not sure what if anything we can read into it, but it is just a thought.

I too, am baffled by the Sonic eating, seems like a waste as it is likely the wolves could have a legit case for us to shoot him since he is has as of yet to contribute more than minimally to the game. Why waste an eating if you can get the humans to do your dirty work and shoot each other.

Will place a SPV against kmrutledge for now but it is likely to change as the round progresses.

I wouldn't necessarily think there was anything at all to read into my comments regarding inactives.
I wouldn't be around for the final 8 hours or so of the round, so was content with whichever one got popped and now it looks like both of them are outta here, very poor choice and has basically given the Seer a free pass whomever he or she may be.

I have SPV'd for Sky but it is quite changeable.
Chang seems to play the same style whether wolf or human so it is hard to read him for me

Wouldn't be overly sure who is a good shot at this early stage, but if some of ye have a great notion that's cool

Nope, there are no flaws, or if there is you have done nothing to demonstrate one, even in the least. My case is rather simple, one POSSIBLE interpration of your vote is that it was done to hurry sonic along and prevent iamsam from ever jumping into the spotlight. You said nothing to counter that possiblilty, you merely stated your own motive for your actions. Again, as I simply stated that my 'case' is one possible interpretation of your actions, there are no flaws and my case has not been weakened in the slightest. That's not even to say I think you are a wolf or my case is very strong, but the case holds water as a possiblity....whether you choose to see it or not.

Spider, your goal is to find the strongest/most plausible motive that will get you a wolf. I am not saying that it's flawed because I am not a wolf. Your goal allows for error, because plausible doesn't mean 100 percent. It's flawed because it's actually flawed from the start, but also because there are other stronger and plausible paths to follow.

Chang's unstated sneak vote on Sonic is one of those things that just has to be considered......

1) My vote was unstated, that's just a fact.
2)My vote wasn't sneaky. Unless you consider sloths or turtles deadly predators, my vote was placed well in advance of round end. Unless someone isn't looking at the votes, and fails to look at the vote posting in round there's no way you can consider it sneaky.
3)It's fine that you're considering it, but really...

4)Not quoted, but you defined my motives to be (along the lines of) I was trying to stop the isam vote and get people to vote sonic. Possible, but if that were true, I would have posted something. Could be something strong like "Hey I think sonic is a better choice" or more neutral like "I am gonna keep it at a tie"

Jayo and a few people have said I am a hard read at times. It can be true. My aim in this whole discussion with you isn't to change your vote, to change your pursuit of me, or whatever. I am just being honest with you, I'll give you all my tells if you ask. Short of revealing my role (as a wolf), I play an honest game. Which is why if I feel like a wolf has made an obvious mistake, I won't hesitate to vote them out. I play a human game human or not.

I also find you hard to read, right now I am leaning human, but I have been fooled by you before. There are still a lot of players who need to check in and voice an opinion, so I am sticking with my SPV for now.

Hopefully, something will flip a switch and the choice will become clear. ...but I doubt it.

Hey HABS, I have been in Texas, came home, booted my PC and there was 5mins left haha. It would have been most unnecessary for me to log the vote at all as a bus, since he was 5mins from oblivion anyway. I was just sticking my head in and doing my bit for the seer.

Looking at last round voting and the discussion this round, I'm going to SPV chang for now.

Sneak implies that I didn't want anyone to know... well unless there's something I don't see. My vote wasn't sneaky by it's very definition. Unless you can't see something coming from a mile away, well then I just can't help that.

And if you don't see your flaws, when I am freely helping you read my own motives, then well there's no hope. I did list a stronger plausible path... HABS took note from it, maybe you should to.

I guess the seer can use all the protection he/she can get regardless of whether the actual vote matters or not....

I was just tossing it out there as a 'possible' (but not likely) suggestion. AT no point, even after making the observation, did I actually vote for you.

Just because you say they are flaws does not make them flaws

I said the word sneaky once as a throwaway word, if you want to keep a hard on over for the rest of the round, be my guest.

and im not sure what HABS picked up on, that sometimes wolves vote for wolves.....that once in a lifetime insight?

Anyway going to switch over to a non-voter as is since I never stated my vote for you was anything more than an SPV with a bit of an argument attached to it..lets see what the roster has

Wolves voting for wolves is the simple way of putting it. But it's better than your chang is trying to be sneaky and stop the isam sam vote. I didn't say I played a totally human game, but the lines are blurred enough that I am a hard read.

Chang you have sniped votes in the past and it seems to be as consistent as voting yourself so I don't know if there should be too much to read into it, not in an early round anyways

With everyone pretty much agreeing to rid an inactive in round 1, not much point in any wolves scrambling to save the inactive wolf that did get nailed, probably 1 wolf in the sam voters, probably

Switching off Sky to a thus far non voter

As we all know, and was sated above by both Chang and Spid, wolves very often vote for wolves just to be able to offer that exact defence later on in the game. He was in no danger of being shot, so what wa the harm in voting for him?

Chang, I have already voted Kmr, she pointed out that she voted Kajish, and why would she do that if they were partners. This was right after the discussion about the fact that wolves ofen vote wolves to try to see innocent. Also you are right in that she did not have to agree to move her vote.

Buu voting but admitting he has not read the posts (as there are "too mnay") is a bit worrisome. Sure we need to protect the seer and a SPV is great, but we need to start hunting wolves and the only way to get a feel for who is who is by reading the posts....

I also do not understand the Jayo majority, as he has done nothing overtly wolfish so far this game.

I am either going to keep my vote where it is, or join the vote on the inactive SirHar, we hit a wolf round 1, and should of course keep our sites set on hitting another, but if we are going to shoot a human, it would be better to get rid of an inactive player than an active one.

There are still 4 hours left, I'll be back before the round ends to make a final decision.

Chang, of course any unstated vote or change of vote is going to look "sneaky", this is pretty obvious stuff. Regardless of whether or not we can deduce the reasoning why not state your change anyway? It's not something a sensible human should do therefore it's right that it gets picked up.

And buu has previous for not bothering to read up on rounds, annoying but not necessarily suspicious.
