I thought avaughn828 might be a cowboy but the wolfs ate him....I don't know who the next vote should be for.I hope pika was a cowboy

The early bird gets the worm, but the second rat gets the cheese..
I was kind of surprised by that one too. I was kind of hoping for avaughn's help in this round because she seemed to be getting more into the game. I guess the cowboy (or cowboys) sniffed that out too. Since we learned Delta was a cowboy and we'll hear about Pika, I think we will need to look at who didn't vote for Delta and any reasons posted for not voting for him.
Otherwise, we need to look at all as somewhat suspect. We have let a couple off the hook too in earlier rounds. We may want to reconsider those. I'm going to read over the posts and see if I can find any fishy bevahior. I thought I might be eaten by now so I am watching out for suspicious finger pointing. I don't want to rush too much into voting just yet.

I know everyone who voted that round did vote for Delta, but unfortunately I don't remember who voted and who didn't offhand. The round ended so quickly that we didn't hear from a lot of people, and many didn't vote at all (myself included, to be honest). I honestly don't have any idea who to vote for this time, and I'm sure hoping that Pika was a wolf. I'm not going to be on Braingle at all tomorrow as it's Thursday, but I'm not sure who to post a vote for. I would vote for Girl because she has been inactive, but I don't think the night round timed out this time and she hasn't been on Braingle for the past two days. And inactive or not, it wouldn't be good to lose another human.
I really need to get to bed, so I'm going to have to go for now and hope that I get a chance to participate again come Friday afternoon after work. I'm really interested to see how this rounds turns out.

[color=red]Well it looks like the cowboys have done it again. Come on indians. Your running out of men. Maybe just maybe we will get a cowboy this time.

I'm voting for Bo this round - I think . . .may change my mind.

What happened all the activeness of the first 2 rounds. . Oh well win some lose some.
Don't give up - we're still here! I'm sure there will be more posts later - like after work and school!

Well buckaroo, that was sooner than I expected. I see a cold frozen finger points at this old indian. I don't think my tribe will buy it. I have thought Snowmonster was keeping a low profile. Hardly participating in the round that we got delta. Girl is definitely a human from Teddy's observation. Hopefully, she can come back and help us get a cowboy this round.
So, since Snow is looking for a wolf, maybe she can drop by the Little Bighorn for a "discussion". If she is fishing again, perhaps a little more finess in presentation will get a strike.
It would have been easier to just eat me. I'll go ahead and vote snow and see where it gets me. I might change too if we have some other hunches from the tribe. We really need to catch some cowboys kimo-sabies!

Voting for SNOW will get you a blizzard Mister! Well, if you're gonna vote for me, then I'll vote for you . . . I believe this is a friendly thing to do . . . . I do think you're a bit suspicious, but I can't figure out exactly why . . . . or how . . .. oh . . . I know why you're suspicious . . .. . I mention "maybe" voting for you . . .. and you get all nervous and then vote for me . . .. well, that, to me makes you look a bit nervous . . .. or should I say, suspicious!

I will be back. (have a bit of an errand right now) I am nervous because the cowboys have been picking us off one at a time. Just trying to help my tribe out.
So, you accept our meeting at the Little Bighorn? I think you listened too much to General Custer. I'll try and do some more tracking to determine if you are just another scared indian firing random arrows or someone with a cold calculating finger on the trigger.
All in the spirit of the game of course. The Great Spirit!

Custer's last stand was not the only time the Native Americans had the upper hand!
Snow might just be fishing. I'm not sure she is a cowboy. She did (reluctantly at first.. ) join in on voting Delta in the round we took him out. Catmandon and Teddy did not vote Delta. Teddy at least tried to explain why. Still, I feel more suspicious of Snow than any one else right now.
If it is my time, it is a good day to die.
Lyrics by Robbie Roberstson
It Is a Good Day to Die
The general rode for sixteen days
The horses were thirsty and tired
On the trail of a renegade chief
One he'd come to admire
The soldiers hid behind the hills
That surrounded the village
And he rode down to warn the chief
They'd come to conquer and pillage
Lay down your arms
Lay down your spear
The chief's eyes were sad
But showed no sign of fear
(chorus)
It is a good day to die
Oh my children dry your eyes
It is a good day to die
He spoke of the days before the white man came
With his guns and whisky
He told of a time a long time ago
Before what you call history
The general couldn't believe his words
Nor the look on his face
But he knew these people would rather die
Then have to live in this disgrace
What law have I broken
What wrong have I done
That makes you want to bury me
Upon this trail of blood
(chorus)
We cared for the land and the land cared for us
And that's the way it's always been
Never asked for more never asked too much
And now you tell me this is the end
I laid down my weapon
Laid down my bow
Now you want to drive me out
With no place left to go
(chorus)
And he turned to his people and said dry your eyes
We've been blessed and we are thankful
Raise your voices to the sky
It is a good day to die

Red Cloud
Red Cloud (Lakota: Makhpiya Luta), (1822 – December 10, 1909) was a war leader of the Oglala Lakota (Sioux). One of the most capable Native American opponents the U. S. military ever faced, he led a successful conflict in 1866–1868 known as Red Cloud's War over control of the Powder River Country in northwestern Wyoming and southern Montana. Later, he led his people in reservation life.
In 1866, he began what has come to be known as Red Cloud's War, the most successful war an Indian nation ever waged against the U.S. military. He achieved several victories, resulting in a new Treaty of Fort Laramie by which the U.S. abandoned all forts on the Bozeman Trail and acknowledged Lakota possession of what is now the Western half of South Dakota, including the Black Hills, and much of Montana and Wyoming.

Now why is catmandon voting for me . . . could it be one wolf helping another one out!

Now who's nervous...
It looks like most of the tribe have their reservations (pun .. ) about where to vote next. We could both be Indians and the cowboys are just sitting on their lariats so we do more of their work.

This is true, maybe catmandon is taking advantage of this situation of ours - and figured if he also voted for me, others would follow - . . . . getting a human shot in a very sly way . . . . or maybe he's just trying to help out a fellow wolf . . . I don't know . . . . to be truthful, the vote for you Bo, is a simple fish vote - because I just don't know who to vote for - I could change my mind - but at this point, not enough peoples are posting, so I have very little to go on.

Bo does seem nervous just because snow is voting for him... I really don't suspect you, snow, but I don't suspect bo either. I think I will just go with Bo, simply so that the votes are tied. Then, the person shot will be entirely random.

I don't blame you girl for that vote. Very little reason to suspect Snow and about the same for me give or take. A couple of us haven't been on today and may make a difference before the round ends. Teddy has been on but seems to be watching from the sidelines. She could be the deciding vote if the others don't make it on. Only a few hours left in the round. I'm sure not going to vote for myself to break the tie and I don't think Snow is ready to toss her hat out of the ring. Guess we'll just have to sit and see.

Sitting Bull
Sitting Bull (Sioux: Tatanka Iyotake, Tatanka Iyotanka or Ta-Tanka I-Yotank, also nicknamed Slon-he or "Slow"; ca. 1831 – December 15, 1890) was a Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux holy man, born near the Grand River in South Dakota and killed by police on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation during an attempt to arrest him and prevent him from supporting the Ghost Dance movement.
He is notable in American and Native American history for his role in the major victory at the Battle of the Little Bighorn against Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer and the U.S. 7th Cavalry Regiment on June 25, 1876, where Sitting Bull's premonition of defeating the cavalry became reality. In the months after the battle, Sitting Bull fled the United States to Wood Mountain, Saskatchewan, Canada, where he remained until 1881, at which time he surrendered to American forces. A small remnant of his band under Chief Wambligi decided to stay at Wood Mountain. After his return to the United States, he briefly toured as a performer in Buffalo Bill's Wild West show.
After working as a performer, Sitting Bull returned to the Standing Rock Agency in South Dakota. Because of fears that he would use his influence to support the Ghost Dance movement, Indian Affairs authorities ordered his arrest. During an ensuing struggle between Sitting Bull's followers and the police, Sitting Bull was shot in the side and head by police after they were fired upon by his supporters. His body was taken to nearby Fort Yates for burial, but in 1953, his remains possibly were exhumed and reburied near Mobridge, South Dakota by Sioux who wanted his body to be nearer to his birthplace. However, some Sioux and historians dispute this claim and believe that any remains that were moved were not those of Sitting Bull.

We are both tied with votes Bo - I was gonna change my vote but then I'd have the majority of votes all to myself . . . I don't like that idea, so I'll sit tight, and see what happens. . .

Yes, we're kind of stuck with this right now. Maybe a couple more will come in and vote. It's possible. I don't think Teddy wants to be the deciding vote.
It is also tough, because either of us can look like a cowboy if the one voted out is not a cowboy.
Guess we'll just have to see what happens.

Very interesting. I have never seen a round be so close. It is compleatly 50/50 between snow and bo. If it stays t his way I don't know what will happen. I've never seen it happen when there is a tie in he votes. But there is 1 hour and a half left 1 vote could make the difference.
I "think" if there's a tie, then the computer will randomly vote one of us off . . . .I may be wrong though.
