Welcome to Round 6!

Frightening Fall Fatalities. . . . .

The Country was recovering from a hot, dry Summer, and looking forward to the rewards of Fall. Yes, Fall was here, bringing cooler days, chilly nights and the turning of leaves to the beautiful shades of red, orange, yellow and brown. You could smell Fall in the air, and it was delightful. Little did anyone know that there was a crazed maniac on the run . . . killing as they roam the country. . . . . who will be their next victim?

Unfortunately there were more than one victim. . . . . but no one has made the connection between the 4, yes 4 fatalities. . . . One main reason is because 3 of the victims, all from different areas of the country, kajish, from Hawaii, Spud from Idaho and talanpoe from California. . . . . were all reported missing, but never found. Some of their loved ones hold out hope that they will be found alive, but for Spud. . . . it's been almost 2 weeks. Hope is running out for these folks, and little does anyone know, that their dissapearances are all connected. the 4th victim, Babyjuice, who resided in Florida, was found hanging from an orange tree. . . . with a message pinned to her back. It read. . . . . for those that are unaware. . . . . she was in the wrong place, at the wrong time. . . . . how fortunate for me. The community Babyjuice was from, is hoping this is an isolated incident, little do they know, there's a mad murderer roaming the country, killing whoever they choose.

Meanwhile, north of Florida, in the beautiful state of Georgia, a family has reported their daughter missing. Unfortunately she, 4wheels, was found dead, along with her friends Chunnie and Rhythmic. They met every Thursday evening, in Chunnie's garage to practice. They were in a Heavy Metal Band that they had put together while still in High School. 4wheels was the drummer, chunnie played bass guitar and Rhythmic served as lead singer, and also played the harmonica. . . . they were a great band. But sadly, they were found dead . . . . 4wheels sitting at the drums, Chunnie still clutching his bass guitar and Rhythmic. . . . . standing at the mike, clutching his harmonica with his teeth. . . . all were still in place, as if they were still playing and singing. There was a note, hanging off the front of the drum set. . . it read - "Here's your next victims . . . . their crime? I don't like Heavy Metal." The police took this as a clue, and started thinking that maybe, just maybe these deaths were related to the others reported across the U.S. Then they received yet another call. . . . it was from Paul's wife, in New York City. . . . she reported that her husband did not make it home from work, and wanted to report him missing. The officer that took the call tried to reassure her, that maybe he was just working late, but she didn't buy it. She knew something bad had happened to her husband. . . . eventually, the police would realize this too. . . . . .

Meanwhile, in the state of TEXAS, in the beautiful city of Dallas, the town was preparing for the usual Fall festivities, such as Haunted Houses, Hay Rides, Bon Fires, Leaf Raking Parties and of course, Trick or Treating. Two friends 21Kaldridge21 and buu441 were out for an evening of fun, with a visit to a local Haunted House, then a party. The The Haunted House was unusual, because it was an actual house, that was suppose to be haunted, for real. The house had been abandoned for at least 20 years, when finally, a couple decided to buy the house and make it a business. It's only opened during the month of October, but draws thousands of people to it every year. With tickets being $10.00 each, the couple is pleased with their investment. All was going well, 21Kldridge21 and buu441 were half way through the house, when all of a sudden they step off the pathway to get a better look at a figure they see in the shadows. . . . . . suddenly the floor gives way, and they disappear. While they are falling, a loud howling laugh can be heard throughout the house. This even creeps out the owners of the house, because this is a sound, a voice. . . . .they've NEVER heard before. . . . . . Poor 21Kaldridge21 and buu441 have dropped two levels, deep into the pit of the cellar. . . . . . and will never be seen alive again. It is a week before their bodies are discovered, and with some thorough investigating, it is clear that the floor that had given way, was cut to give way . . . . . On the chest of buu441, there was a note pinned. It read. . . . didn't think I could make it to Texas from Georgia in such a short time, did you . . . . . now the authorities knew, they had a mass murderer on their hands.

Later that night, in Houston, JakeTad and nicats were working late at their local Denny's. They were both cooks and with it being close to Halloween, the manager decided to keep the restaurant open 24 yours. Workers were mixed on how they felt about this idea, as some welcomed the extra work, while others couldn't see the profit being made in doing this. . . . at least not because of Halloween. . . . but anyway, it was JakeTad's and nicats turn to work 3rd shift. Very slow night, with only a few people coming in for a meal. Around 2:30a.m., the lights started flickering. Thankfully there were no patrons in the dining area, just the two of them in the kitchen, and of course, the lone waitress and dishwasher. The workers were used to the lights flickering off and on, but for some reason, that night, it was as if someone was doing it intentional. Off and on, off and on . . . . . . then BAM, with a loud thump, yes, I said thump . . . . . the lights go out completely, and do not come back on. . . . . . all were calm, no one yelled out in fear. . . . . but after about 15 minutes and the lights returned. . . the waitress and dishwasher found themselves alone. . . . . JakeTad and nicats were gone. They called the police to report what had happened. While searching for evidence, a police officer finds a butcher knife in the sink, covered in blood. . .. . . . they rush it to the lab and it's confirmed. The blood belonged to JakeTad and nicats. In the sink, written in blood. . . . . . . . was a note that read, Texas is so large, I just had to have some more fun. . . . . catch me if you can.

Message from the Grave ~

From Bradon -
Based on the Murderer's memo: So... too old for Scooby Doo? Too old for this game then, Bobbi. I would be looking at Roman as the Murderer and Jayo as the Rat. Since I most definitely voted and confirmed my vote for Elios and I was murdered, Elios is not guilty, and for some reason I feel Jayo would have been more diplomatic in a memo. This, to me, sounds more like Roman. Consider this possibility.

Elios is cleared! Two people who voted for her are gone. Really sorry to see Bobbi and Masoni go. (And sorry age got you fired Bobbi... this is not Survivor... I think us older folks really have an advantage!... though not sure it will always work.) Sucks.

Now comes the hard part. Roman also voted for Bobbi and is still here.

According to my calculations, only Jayo and Roman are sitting in this game without some sort of clearing? You should all do your own math... this could be the most important decision to make in the game. (and yes, it is only a game and the world will not end if you make the wrong decison... but at least take some time to decipher the clues, the possible bosses, and your own thoughts... please - and thank you!)

Sadly, I am not sure if the rat is here or not... I sort of think he could have been eliminated in the first round as inactive, because I just do not see anyone jumping out there as a rat... except for Jayo. The problem with this thought is that he voted for Roman last round. If these two guys are the only two "uncleared" players, it would not be too wise for the rat to vote for the boss now, unless he was trying to stay low at this point in the game.

The good news for me, is that the new round ended at a time when I can be on line again at the end - guaranteed, so I can confirm a vote by then. I really would like to hear everyone's thoughts. And the, "I may not be on before the round ends" is really only good when the round time is the same... if you sign up to play a game, be active and come on a few times to play it, or sign up for games with inactive players...please.

I am leaning towards Jayo as boss. With 4 players sort of cleared... we might be able to solve this with some logic. If two of the cleared players vote for Roman, and two for Jayo... even if you are fired...it would clear the person you voted for.... and the next round, the other person could have some votes on them.

I will admit, the biggest problem is that if I was the rat and the boss was cleared by a single vote... we could lose. Not really sure where to go with this... it is sort of a gut feeling. I am an employee trying to resolve the problem... and now, it's your turn... what do you think? If asked to vote right now, I would vote for Jayo, but I also think we need to split the votes to ensure a couple cleared players move on????

I have thought Jayo on and off for a few rounds now. I change my mind and then keep coming back to him. I will most likely be voting Jayo.

Huh. Well, that makes my voting somewhat easier - my other top suspect was fired.

I'm voting Jayo again. I'm rather convinced that he's the Boss. It would explain why I wasn't fired. I mean, if he's not the Boss, why wouldn't the Boss have fired me and Bobbi, leaving Masoni (someone not cleared and someone at least I suspected) alive? Either way I would have been cleared, so what's the difference?

Also, Snowy: are there going to be more story entries..?

I think Randy is right that only Roman and Jayo are still uncleared, so my
vote for Jayo is confirmed. Looking at the memo, I think the boss is again trying to frame someone. Personally I don't know many males who are afraid of spiders (or who would admit to being scared of them) it seems like maybe the boss is trying to sound like he is a female. The problem I see with this is that the only 2 females (me and Elios) left in the game have both been cleared.

Since HABS and Elios voted for Jayo, I have voted for Roman.

Hopefully Randy locked in a vote or will be back in the next couple hours to do so. I know he said he would be, but sometimes things come up.

I will vote for Roman for now.

I may change to Jayo, which will mean he will have a majority vote and a possible firing of the boss. It is absolutely only a two person firing round (short of mandatories), so one of the three will be available to vote for Roman next round. That makes the next round the fun round... where the three cleared people (keep in mind Jayo would be cleared if two are fired that voted for him) should be voting for Roman then. Anyone not buying into this, is probably the rat, if the rat is still with us. I keep thinking he may have been eliminated in round 1. To support this, Jayo should be voting for Roman this round too... or have a really great reason why one of the cleared players is not cleared... and frankly, I don't really see that in how they were fired and with the voice from the grave telling us they were optional firings.

There is another reason to vote for Jayo instead of Roman... and I will point it out on my return.

Still have two hours to go, I will be back in a bit to consider my move better!

Edit - confirmed vote for Roman

I'm going to vote for Jayo too.

The majority must be definate. There will be enough cleared players to go after Roman next round. If we split the votes, it is possible that the boss would not fire anyone and we end up right back here.

I heard you Bobbi... but it seems prudent to take this step.

I may be fired during the night, but I know the rest of you will follow through. I honestly think the cleared players are cleared... doesn't seem like any out... though if Jayo is not the boss, I expect Roman to come up with something. Sadly, he's been fairly quiet the whole game... hard to convince people of other things when you haven't tried to help the process.

Good luck all. Edit - Yes... confirmed vote for Jayo.

Well, unless there is a longer than normal time frame for ending a game when the boss has been found; Jayo is not the boss. Sort of strange he did not come on and say anything this round, but if he is indeed the rat, then why would he? the vote was heading his way. Seems like that would have been the logical way to play this round as the rat.

Even if I had voted for Roman, we would have still ended up losing two cleared players, and Habs and Elios had already voted for Jayo - so it just seem prudent to go for the "kill", knowing our options were not limited. I at least did not put anyone in risk... Jayo just fit the bill. I noticed he voted for every majority person in the game, it was the one thing that made me really feel he was not the boss but the rat; but I couldn't shake the fact that I felt Jayo was the boss.

Ok... I think next round will be in your hands. Make it happen gang... this boss has to go down!
