I used to play the flute in band in grade 7 and 8. Not sure I'd be able to play now, given my lack of vision, I wouldn't be able to see the sheet music and I can't remember any of the fingerings. I never was very good anyway. I also took piano as a kid but hated the teacher so I quit. Looking back I wish I had stuck it out or that my parents had made me continue.
Bob did not post at all last round so was likely a mandatory firing. Nicats stated a vote for me, so if she did in fact vote that way, I should be clear. I am going to stay out of a majority vote unless we are pretty sure of it.

Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

Yeah, unless nicats didn't lock in her vote, I believe you would be cleared. I don't think she would lie about her vote and Bob most likely was a mandi.
I played the violin for 9 years 5th grade to graduation. I, also, was not very good, never made first chair, but I did enjoy playing and am so glad I had the experience. I encourage all young people to learn to play an instrument, any instrument, and experience the music first hand.

My one nephew has this really cool keyboard that came reprogrammed with 100+ sons on it, you can also hook up to your computer or put an SD card with .wav or .mp3 files on it and while it plays the music, it will light up the proper keys so that you can learn to play the songs. Not sure he knows how to read music but he has about 40 pieces of music ranging from rock to classical memorized. He is really good.

Okay, so I guess it's time to clear and/or target another person. Looking at all the players' profiles, these are the people who mention some form of music in their 'interests':
21kaldridge21 (singing, dancing)
entrails (me)
Snowmonster also says 'lots of stuff', which could encompass music-making, and of course there are people who may be interested in music but didn't list it. Or, the Boss isn't interested in music at all but was forced to pick an instrument. I guess I'll safety-vote for 21kaldridge21 for now and then come back later to see what has transpired.
I'm a junior in high school right now and have been playing the flute since 4th grade. I'm quite competitive; I've made within the top 5 chairs in all-state since freshman year and came in first this year, and I am seriously considering pursuing flute performance as a career. I also have played piano since I was 4 years old or so, but I've had lots of different teachers for various reasons (retirement, not a good teacher, etc.) so I'm not really very good for the amount of years I've been playing.
Edit: I'm also pretty ill right now so if I don't post much in the forthcoming round, then that's why.

Hey guys! Finally have a few minutes to focus on the game. As for musical instruments, grade school, I took clarinet for band but just didn't get it. Daughter started out on clarinet, moved to french horn and geesh, can't remember, something else, that she played in marching band. So there is musical talent in the family. Son is currently playing drums in band. He's not the best in class, but can hold his own.
Don't know if the boss is saying they play the instrument they mentioned, or would like to. At this point, I don't have any suspects.
I think I'll place a vote in the morning.
Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

I play can play piano and saxophone really well...been playing sax for three years now and piano for 4 I think.
Anyway I'll safety vote for now.
Anyway I'll safety vote for now.
I've been playing sax for .... let's see .... almost 30 years Wow. I didn't realize it had been that long.
In the past I also took piano lessons and tried bassoon, clarinet, trumpet, and more recently guitar.

Okay guys, so who's it going to be? Who do you want to clear next? I am hoping to stay out of any majority for now as we don't want our only cleared player fired.
Let me know for whom you are all voting, that way I can vote differently.
Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

I'm willing to change. The boss's answers aren't helping much, so we gotta start somewhere.

I haven't ever played a musical instrument but with my cerebr palsy it would be hard to play an instrument. I don't even think any of my siblings or parents played an instrument. We all love to listen to music though.
Instead of music we all have an interest and talent for art. My sister used to be able to draw really well she was able to look at a picture once and redraw with out looking at it again. She is also good at photography, cooking, and styling hair and even went and became a hair stylist. My younger brother is also really good at drawing too. I didn't get their talent for drawing but I am pretty good at cooking, photography, scrapbooking, and all sorts of crafts.
I am willing to do another majority vote too.

We have to remember that the question asks if there's a musical instrument the boss would "like" to play. . . .not is there one they do play. So, I think to me, it could be anyone, unless there's a player that absolutely has no interest in playing an instrument.

OC - it is not helpful in the least if you don't tell us who you are voting for. I'm going out for a bit and not sure when I'll be home, so safety for Entrails again as there does not seem to be a majority forming at ths point yet.

I don't know what happened to the voting list I made this morning. That's been happening to me a lot lately, wonder if there is some sort of "glitch" in Braingle, I can't believe I've been forgetting to "post" so many times. Anyway, thank you 21K for the list. I had voted for entrails but would be willing to help get a majority vote going. Sorry HABS, I'll switch my vote to HABS for now and wait for a majority to form.

I also think there is a glitch with posting because there has been times that I know I posted then hours later I come back and it's not there.

My apologies for not saying who I voted for, I can't remember but it didn't create a majority :/ I'll remember to say in future.
