This game finished in 8 rounds.
That was quick... Thanks Lime.
I guess that' the game. Hard luck Shadows. Great great effort. You almost had it. froggygg(legs) was left with the difficult decision.
I stand by waht I said. It was one of the closest and best Boss games I have seen in a long, long time. Probably ever.
I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I have.
I will put the conclusion of the story up it a little bit.
I do have one question though. Do you guys prefer to have a story(even if it's only every second round) or would you rather me to leave the story out from now on?
PS don't forget to rate the game either.
Stewie.

Whew, I have to admit I was nervous up all the way to the end. So precarious sitting on that one vote from froggy... And I gave her plenty of reason to doubt me earlier in the game. I have to wonder how many different thoughts were going through your mind, Shady, in choosing whether to fire me or kmr, we were nearly identical... Firing me would have weak cleared kmr on two separate rounds by two different firings same as me. That 3v3 vote earlier was curious as well, I sat here all the way trying to figure out how exactly that vote had to go down, eventually realizing jervis had to be the rat in order to make both majorities equal (since you were in the other one). How did you peg jervis as your rat though? I can certainly see how his logic was dangerous to you haha.
Good game all!
ETA: I also knew by the play of the last round that there was no chance froggy was the rat or it would have ended differently, leaving jervis as the only "vote" on kmr left to not be a real vote
ETA 2: Personally, although I will admit to not always following the story, I like the story, it just adds a touch to the game beyond the normal which I think is interesting.

Wow! I just got back from the store to find the game ended and I did vote correctly!!!
I agree that it was one good game and really tough in the last few rounds. I'm just glad I stuck with my gut instinct and kept my vote on Shady. After going through all the rounds and the voting/fires it just seemed to click that Shady almost had to be the Boss.
Shady, you were one terrific Boss with all kinds of ways used to throw everyone off yourself. I especially found the Boss message in Round 4 as quite a smart thing for you to do to draw attention away from you - but it also drew attention away from Limerick.
Great game and I'm glad I made it to the end.
Stewie, the stories are interesting so I'm all for having you keep doing them.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Darn, shouldn't have fired jervis. Since I was trying to pin it on kmr, I figured he'd be a convincing Rat for her. Little did I know that he was actually my Rat.
A few things that might clear up some points:
I thought Limerick was my Rat all along. He "didn't vote" twice and was never a mandatory. With that in mind, go back and read his little rhyme back in Round 3 or something and you'll know why I considered him my biggest threat.
Good job froggy for making the right choice. Great game, everyone! Stewie, the stories are excellent. Even if they're not there every round, they're still a great touch.

Good job all... but a special thumbs up to Froggy, you stuck by your guns and got an employee win! It is a good feeling to know you picked right, isn't it!?
After I was fired, I didn't really suspect Shady, I thought it was Limerick. It was only during the last round that I saw that she probably fit the bill, and she duped me! (Shame on you Shady, I thought we were friends! )
The round I was fired, I hit myself in the head when the round was over because I got wrapped up with work and was not thinking too clear - - I voted Froggy only on one count and then realized when the round ended that some of the other clues/memos did not fit her at all. Maybe in a way it was good to be fired, because of how my work load ramped up. Needless to say, I will be watching from the sidelines through most of the summer...my busy time of work, plus my first two week vacation in over 7 years.
Stewie, thanks for modding this game.
In response to your question, I personally get enjoyment from the stories, but sometimes I wonder if they really are necessary if they don't add any clues to the game. We all have RL issues, and of course understand when even a mod gets tied up. This may not answer your question, but if a mod doesn't do a storyline, it is fine... I usually join a game because of the players AND knowing that the mod has a good reputation of being around to move the game along. Bottom line - its up to the mod to decide, but if they do decide to have a storyline, I think they need to follow through with it on whatever schedule they decide to use to post one.

So sorry I have been away for 2 weeks.
I SINCERELY APOLOGISE to Shadows! I totally screwed up me getting fired. I wasn't sure if it was revealed to the boss who the rat was by not hacking the system, so I didn't. I realised too late that by not being on the firing list would have given it away to you. And then we could have had 2 vs 2 and I was certain that we could have easily framed either Limerick OR kmrutledge, whoever was left.
I tried my best to make it as confusing to the others as possible, steering it away where I could. It got very sticky there in the middle rounds. I really let Shadows down. A shame I got fired when I did... I even gave the scenarios in which to fire either froggy and Limerick, or kmr and j-boy!
Again sorry Shadows. You did great to stay out of the limelight right up to the end.
It really was a great game. Thanks Limerick and kmrutledge for making my job a WHOLE lot easier! hehehe hehehe. I was really frightened of RGW this game. I thought he was most likely to figure out who I was trying to protect.
I look forward to another game soon.
Thanks for modding Stewie. I don't mind either way about stories. I tend to not read too much, but I know others enjoy themes for these games. I prefer that there aren't too many clues to give away identities.
