RULES
Here are the rules for this game:
1. All normal rules apply except when an item is purchased and used.
2. Each round will have a Challenge. See the Challenge Listing below the Bazaar for more information.
3. Every constructive single post = 1 point. Double posts are worth zero unless three hours have passed since your last post. Spam/useless posts will not be tolerated, and will result in a warning and forfeiture of all points the first time and a ModFire the second time.
4. In purchasing an item, you MUST use the purchasing form found in the Bazaar section of this post.
5. You do not have to use an item once you have bought it. When you do use it, make it obvious to the dumb moderator.
6. The Boss has a private bazaar full of items. See that list here. He earns Firing Points (FP) by firing inactive players. FP can only be used at the Boss Bazaar. Similarly, the Boss can't use normal points at the Boss Bazaar. Here's the page explaining how the Boss earns FP.
7. The moderator colors are green, purple, and red. Please do not use them. Green is for comments, purple for official text, and red for important things like urgent announcements and warnings.
8. The use of the word "he" in reference to the Boss does not imply gender and is used simply to have a pronoun.
9. Discussion of log-on times is forbidden.
10. Any player who does not post in a round and fails to provide a legitimate excuse for the absence will be fired.

CHALLENGE LISTING
Riddle\Jumbled Relations
Let's start off with an easy one. The first person to get it right wins 10 points, the second person wins 5 points, and the third person wins 2 points. After that is one point. Send your answers to me in a private message with the header "WTB #2990 Riddle".
If anyone gets it, the first Keyword Challenge will be unlocked! Anyone who correctly solves it before a Scry is used wins 3 bonus points!
The following four words are jumbled. Unscramble them and then explain how each word is related to each other.
FACOTHINTE
ZICGZEWSHUN
ZGGAUZNW
BIZLT
This Challenge lasts until the end of Round 1.

If any player posts a valid post with the secret Keyword in it, he or she will win a free item. The word is a potentially everyday word. (So, it's not 'hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia'.) Word lists do not count. The word must be found in a sentence inside a valid post. This has a good history of promoting activity, so let's see some interesting stories! (Update: remember that the post does not have to be about the game. Also, any tense of the word will work as well [*-s, *-ing, *-ed, *-like, etc. will all do.) This Challenge lasts until the end of the game.

Queen stays queen, adios!
Think I finally got it, after some hard-core web-surfing and some http://textmechanic.com/Word-Scrambler.html
Hope it's right
In terms of voting for the boss, random vote for countrygirl for the time-being, though I'm willing to change as information surfaces and if a majority pops up.

I literally just sat there for 5 minutes rescrambling the letters until something came up that looked semi-legit, which led me to the other terms as well.
In regards to the memo, am I the only one who thinks not having minutes/seconds would be really unpractical?

Still stuck on one of them. Word unscrambler was not my savior haha.
I agree with srbaxi about the time...naming hours could be fun though!

Yeah, the whole minute/second thing would be weird. Sounds like the person travels if he/she would be worried about it being easier to keep up with the time.

Voting random for habs
Well off to work on the challenge and the keyword. Story time later or now or whenever i feel like it. Insert random words here just to extend this sentence to maybe make it possible to find the keyword here just to be fun.

After a quick perusal of profiles, here are the people who live in places with radically different time zones than the US, which is where I'm assuming most of us are?
100ra, aragorn, buu, kmr, sonic
TBH chances are I'm just grasping for straws but might as well, I guess. Changing my randomish vote to sonic.

@srbaxi: thanks, wikipedia did it! Figured it out now!
Timezone thing makes enough sense. I'm still not sure what the best voting strategies are, but I guess I'll vote for one of those people?

This is only my 3rd WTB game, so I'm not intimately familiar with voting strategies either, but I don't think it should hurt to clear someone

Wow, this is a super active game, how awesome!
Since lissiclown and srbaxi have both asked about voting strategies - the ways I see most commonly for clearing are one of two. Either we do a Majority of One (MoO), where everyone votes for a different person (so we'd need someone to keep a voting list), or we get as many people as possible to vote for the same person in the hopes that they are the boss. Both of these hinge on the fact that you can't be fired if you voted for the boss. The second way is more risky because if the person is not the boss, it creates lemmings...definitely not something we should attempt in round one.
Do we want to go with Majority of One? I'm going to put in a random vote for buu441.

If someone could make a voting list that'd be great; I'm on my phone so typing isn't that easy
EDIT: @jarmihi: idk if you explained this somewhere else, but in regards to the keyword challenge, what's a miracle essence?

So I walk into a swede fest and see a bunch of spoof movies and then a bunch of bad comedians make horrible jokes except that one sharknado joke, Lots of laughs and then it hits me that the after-party will have bad service. So bad that if I broke a glass the restaurant wouldn't care if I did break one. In fact, I had to break 2 glasses before they came. But they didn't come to clean up the glass. They came with the chips we ordered 30 minutes ago. But of course the best part was talking with the director's of the swede. They inspered me to do a swede. The winner was back to the future and the 2nd place winner was my friend. Go see a swede fest and avoid the after party is the moral of this story. I mean the twister movie totally needed a guy "Are you in good hands?" and tennis rackets for guns are Nerf guns. Go check out Swedes.
Now for A real story. There once was a an office manger named bob. He opened a file. The end.
EDIT: Yes I would like to go for a MoO but there is a lot of inactives so I wouldn't be surprised if it failed unless that is how it is supposed to work. And yes I did this just to put the word file and normal in it and tell you about swedes.
REDIT: Unless there aren't alot of inactives just names I don't recognized. They register in about they same level in my head for some reason

Here's my attempt at the Keyword Challenge:
I was walking down the street when I noticed a little rabbit on the side. As I stooped to pick it up, I noticed that my shoelace was untied and bent down to tie it. When I stood up again, the bunny had started scurrying into the forest. I started running after it, but no matter how fast I ran, I couldn't catch up to it. 10 minutes later, the bunny had finally stopped and I caught up to it. However, as I was about to pick it up, the bunny went into a little hole that was way too small for me to fit through.
There's only one option, I thought, I must make the hole bigger. So, I bent down and started to dig. Half an hour later, the hole was finally big enough for me to squeeze through. I bent down and positioned myself to go into the hole. Halfway in, I saw that the rabbit had exited out the other end. I started struggling to get out and miraculously, I started to inch out. When I got out, I had lost the bunny, until I noticed some paw prints on the side of a path and started to follow them. When I caught up to the animal that was making the paw prints, I saw that it had been a skunk, not a rabbit. By the time I noticed that, I had already pounced onto it and, scared, the skunk sprayed me.
At that point, I gave up and started to head home. When I got home, I saw the bunny again and finally caught it and brought it home as a pet. THE END!
Queen stays queen, adios!

No - if there is a majority on someone who is not the boss, then everyone who voted for that person is a lemming and may be fired. Generally whoever gets fired is the rat (if they fail to hack the network) or someone who forgot to vote. It's pretty safe to do MoO.
I may put together a voting list a little later if nobody else does it...

I'm good with the MoO plan! I put in a vote for 100ra.
I, too, have a story to tell. Hopefully I can articulate correctly because I'm pretty tired after a long day of shopping for school supplies...pencils, pens, highlighters, everything you could possibly need. I always try to be super organized before school starts, with binders, notebooks, index cards, even those cute little post-it notes but eventually I end up losing most of my stuff and just writing in one folder with looseleaf paper but oh well.
On to the story: Once upon a time when I was younger I was playing outside with my neighbors. We were outside their house on the driveway with all their bikes, balls, bats, other sports equipment, etc. They also had two dogs! I have no pets though I wish I had a rabbit. But anyways we're playing basketball and out of nowhere I pull out of my jacket pocket...or maybe my jeans pocket idk...a cigarette! Actually just kidding not a smoker especially when I was a kid.
Instead, the girl suggests we play baseball. Except instead of baseball we both take bats and try to hit softballs as far as we can. So I hit first and it goes really far, sailing into the grass beside the mailbox, off of the sidewalk. Then it's her turn: I take a step away and throw the tennis ball up in the air - she hits in with her metal baseball bat and BAM hits me right in the forehead. I (obviously) start crying immediately, I could tell I was bleeding. I run home to my mom, dad, brother and sister (and also my grandma+grandpa+uncle+aunt+cousin who were staying with us - visiting) and they get in their car/truck and drive me to the hospital on the highway. I was seeing stars! But luckily because it was nighttime and not in the bad way. When we get to the hospital, we pull up at the door and I walk inside. My parents fill out some paperwork and I talk to some nice nurses. Apparenly, when my mom showed me my face on her little handheld mirror, You could see straight through the wound to my skull :O
I get to ride a gurney to a room, where a funny doctor gives me stitches and shots (with no pain medication). At that point, though, I'm feeling pretty good. We drive back home and I get into my bed. I look at the clock and it's pretty late, but I decide to stay up and watch TV because I ABSOLUTELY ADORE watching TV. Seriously. It's a little weird. Monk, House, Psych, Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, Community, Whodunnit, Once Upon a Time, and anything on Food Network are just a few of my favorite shows. I end up falling asleep, though - silly me! The next day, my neighbors walk over and bring me gifts in a gift bag! A lollipop, chocolate, candy, games, arts and crafts stuff, markers, etc. So all in all, no harm done!
PS: Sorry for the atrocious grammar and sentence structure! Just trying to fit in as many words as possible

Grrr, this round started when I was sleeping! . Jar, can you remove the "first gets 5, second gets 3" thing, because of timezone diffrences.

The point bonuses for the Challenges provide a reason to actually do the challenges. If I were to make it so that everyone gets the same number of points, then one person might solve it and then tell everyone the answer, and then everyone would get the same score, and that's not acceptable.
The rounds typically start at various times, and there will be several more challenges, so there will be plenty of opportunities for you to place in the top three. For now, however, you can still earn 4 points for solving the Challenge by the end of the round, provided no one uses Scry, in which case it would be 1 point.

New Zealand Standard Time.
I don't think anyone used Scry since nobody has enough points. If they did, they would have don the challenge, ha ha.

Though I got lucky this time, I'm also worried about the time zone. @Jarmihi - do you think you'd be able to give us a heads-up on what time you'll start the round, like you did this time?
Yes, in fact, that's something that I like to try to remember to do.

SR, I think you should immediatly buy three (or two if that's all you have) divination cards. I don't think you're going to survive this round if the boss is a good one, unless you have insurance.

Why wouldn't I survive if we're doing the MoO thing? (Sorry I'm still new at this )
Because if you were voting on the Candidqte (person who gets most votes), you become a Lemming. The boss can fire Lemmings, and I think you might be gone since you have lots of points. (The boss gets about 11 firing points if he fires you)

Since the boss earns 3-n points (n being the number of posts) I don't think he CAN earn 11 FP
And regarding being a lemming, I don't fully understand how the MoO thing works but I don't think I'll be a lemming? Regardless, you do have a point, so:
Your name: srbaxi
Item: Employment Insurance
Quantity: 1
Target, if applicable: Me?
Use Immediately? : hopefully not

SR, I think the target means the person who you want to send the points to when you're fired. So if you make yourself the target, you will send yourself the points when you're fired.

srbaxi, you are correct in targeting yourself. If you are fired, I will then send you a message asking how you would like to split up your assets. If you were to target someone else, the actual Employment Insurance item would be given to that person. (Edit: of course, given the understandable confusion, I would confirm it with you first.)
The "target" is the person the effect applies to. The effect of Employment Insurance is that you are insured. If someone else is the target, they'd be insured, then.
I'll tally the points now, and then I'm off to sleep.

Keyword challenge:
I was walking down the street when I saw a man and a woman with a dog and cat. There was also two children, a boy and a girl, with them. The dog was on a leash, while the man had a folder in his hands. The woman was holding some groceries, the boy was holding a notebook and thr girl was holding a picture book. The kids then looked at me, and I moved away.

I think the boss is right, we don't need a time system. Just sleep if it is dark, and wake up if it is light.

safety for faith.
about the time zone, how does one time zone help? if it's 10 am everywhere in the world, those with no sun will still sleep won't they? or will they wake up when night is dark and sleep when it's light?
always multitasking 24/7

I was thinking about spending my points in the next round or so on 3 div cards or a friend/foe, but I'm definitely open to suggestions. Any strategies?
I would say take 3 div cards, since finding the boss comes first and foremost.
It might also help to 'donate' to the 'poor'.

anyway, am playing with many new people this time, so its hard to get a read on the memo. but it sounds like an interesting concept all right. i get a feeling that the boss is a girl as i'd say most guys are fine with numbers for hours and wouldn't go around giving them names. and maybe the boss lives in a country where there is more than one time zone (which i think may have been pointed out by others before).
and i won't be writing long stories like the rest of you for the keyword challenge. if i get lucky in my posts, good for me. but not making more of an effort than necessary.
hope someone is active right now and i can roll off a few posts with them to earn more points.

Haha buu is straight and to the point...and regarding your comment about the boss being a girl, it makes somewhat sense to me though I doubt it would really be possible to develop an accurate profile based on this memo
Ok, thanks sonic, I don't think it would count to submit an answer to the challenge now ...:/ because the mod has no way of knowing if we actually figured it out or copied what you said. I'm going to anyways, but....
On a entirely different subject, I just voted Max.

So as per the plan, let's make a MoO on krumtledge because she fits the bill per buu's theory. Plus, it's useful to clear some people.

but we need to start building up profiles based on the memo and narrow down the suspect list. that i generally the point of the memo.

you don't make a MoO on kmr. get the terms right.
MoO- majority of one. which means everyone in the games votes for a different person, and there is no majority. that way from the firings, we can potentially clear the ones who they voted for.
what you are suggesting is building up a majority on kmr. more than 50% votes on kmr, and she'll most probably be cleared.
in this game, considering the fact that there will be mandatories in round 1, we should aim for a majority. we won't learn anything from MoO votes.
Leo: Hold on. This is gonna hurt. Coach Hedge: I was BORN for HURT!!

Oops I meant majority. Yes, we should start a majority on her.

I don't know, it seems like there are a lot of active players, and that means less mandatory fires, and more people the boss can choose to fire.
@jar: i'd like to know how the friend or foe minigame works. please explain the workings??
no problem with a majority on kmr i guess. i had voted hermy on my way in. will change votes the kmr.

Still, bosses do like mandatories, since 1. it removes inactives and 2. lesser players.
Depending on the firings, we can predict if the boss is a "power gamer" or a "fun gamer".

lets see how many people turn up. there are more than 15 hours of voting left, so enough time for everyone to get on. but from experience, most 20 player open games have a lot of mandatory firings in the first few rounds.
and bosses really don't like mandatory firings. it reduces the number of active players they can fire. they'd rather fire some active threat instead of someone inactive.
Leo: Hold on. This is gonna hurt. Coach Hedge: I was BORN for HURT!!

@jarmihi: got a question regarding overtime pay. does it apply to all the posts made in the round, including those prior to its purchase and use, or only to the posts made after it has been purchased and used? because it says 1/round, so i'd expect it to apply to the entire round.
p.s.: don't mind the bold and color. was used just to grab your attention in case you were just scrolling down fast.
Blue is an okay color, and I actually appreciate the fact that you did that. It did catch my eye!

Sonic, why would you want it to be secret?
seriously. you'd like to have some idea about where you are spending your points on. i make sure about how the benefits will accrue when i spend my points like with the overtime pay. it won't do us any good having it for only 12 hours or so when we could have it for an entire 24 hour turn.

Quite possibly, but don't think that really helps as most countries have mulitple time zones, and since the majority of players in this game are from North America (were there are a total of 8 Time Zones (Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern, Atlantic, NFLD, Hawaii, and Alaska).
Not sure about other countries though.
Nor will I, as I find it detracts from the game, and the posts attempting to hit keyword,, are just random, and give us a lot to muddle through but do little to help the game.
BUT again, the mod can do whatever he wants in his games.
Sure we do, we learn as much as we do from a true majority. In fact, we can actually learn more, if we have 15 MoOs and in the first round 3 people get fired (not mandatoreis) then we have (potentially) cleared 3 people as you cannot get fired if you vote for he boss. In a 50%+ situation, we only clear the player who was not fired for being boss.

ADDENDUM
Just to keep my thoughts separate, and the fact the above was getting stupid long:
My thoughts on the memo are that the idea of a single time zone and no hour divisions is impractial and would suggest to me a younger person.
I tend to think the opposite of Buu about who would want to do away with timezones, I wouldsay someone who does not live where they exist as anyone who lives in a place large enough to have multiple time zones can see.
FOr example with the current structure, when it is 8pm (still very bright daylight t in the summer) on the West Coast - it is 11pm in New York (quite dark) and 12:30 AM (the next day) in Newfoundland - how can they all be on the same time when it is light enough to play ball without outside lights in one local and pitch black in another?
I've already discussed my thoughts on the minutes and seconds. Good luck being on time for anything if that was how it would work.

Well, thanks for voting for me guys, it will clear me hopefully. Sent in my answers and i think they are correct based off the spoiler.

Crossing my fingers for a good game. I feel stupid because when I was unscrambling the words, I thought half of them were made up =P And yeah, I don't see myself writing any long stories either, too much thinking lol.

Voting nitro based on memo. No real evidence for nitro just a kind of hunch.

Okay, answers:
"Friend or Foe?" works by splitting the field of players into pairs. (If there is an odd number of players, the person who bought the item will be reimbursed for the item, but will not play.) Each person in the group then decides whether to vote "Friend" or vote "Foe." Thus, there are three possible outcomes:
Friend | Friend
Friend | Foe (or vice versa)
Foe | Foe
There will be a set number of points available based on the number of players remaining in the game. If both players in a pair vote "Friend," they split the winnings 50/50. If one player votes "Friend" and the other votes "Foe," the foe wins everything and the friend gets nothing. If both players vote "Foe," then no one wins anything.
There is no "hard" time limit, and it continues until both players in a pair have submitted their response to me via PM. If your partner in the game is fired, you will automatically receive 50% of the winnings.
It's a point grab. The person who bought the item is guaranteed to win no less than half the price of the item, even if xe loses. Also, I think I've decided that there will be only one of them per game.

Regarding the Riddle, you may still submit your answers for one point. The game is designed to have a response to someone spilling the answer, and it is working properly. (That is, you're not all earning 10 points right now.)
On the Overtime Pay: I'm working on phasing out the term "1 per Round" and phasing in the term "1 per 24 Game Hours" (or maybe "1 per Game Day"). Essentially, a Game Hour is 60 minutes of time that the game is active (so it doesn't include the time between rounds). Thus, if someone were to use a 1/24GH item with three hours left to go in this round, it would begin right then and end 21 hours after the start of next round. This is because posts don't count for points (or anything, really) between rounds.
BUT again, the mod can do whatever he wants in his games.
You make me feel bad! The Keyword Challenge came to be a very long time ago when I had six to ten inactives PER GAME, and I needed to give people a reason to post in the game forum, so I thought of a fun little thing to help with that. It might lead to some verbosity in a game with players this active (thank you!), but I see it as a success. There will be a link to a feedback survey at the end of this game: please feel free to elaborate more on your thoughts regarding the Keyword Challenge there.---This message was edited on 2013-07-29 11:15:50---

It seems like a fun thing and I think a point grab would be beneficial for all of us so:
Your name: srbaxi
Item: Friend or Foe
Quantity: 1
Target, if applicable: Me
Use Immediately? : Yes
I think it would be best for us all to vote "Friend", because it doesn't really matter who has the points - since we can buy items for each other, as long as someone has the points we'll be fine.

There used to be a TV game show called Friend or Foe that was very similar to what yours.
While voting friend ensures a split pot, it would be easier to accumulate points if one person got them all.

While this is true, I think voting friend-friend OR each pairing deciding to vote friend-foe would be better than any possibility of foe-foe. For example, if 3 different people each have 6 points, 2 people can buy div cards and give them to the 3rd person, who can then buy a 3rd div card and use them all at once for an easier clue. The point I was trying to make is that we shouldn't have any possibility of lost points by voting foe-foe (which is somewhat obvious but heh...)
I agree, though, if each pairing wants to do friend-foe instead that would work well also.

Please keep in mind that you can't transfer items between players. (Employment Insurance is an item that allows you to do so, but only if you are fired.) (It's implicit for all of the items; I specified Divination Cards because I figured people would ask.)
Thus, if someone had two cards and another had one card, and they both used them at the same time, you'd end up with 1 2-cuil clue and 1 3-cuil clue (where a cuil is one level of abstraction from the reality of the situation).

Regardless, I still want the friend/foe, and I think we should decide one person in each pairing to get the points

I'll play this game for the fun of it and to accumulate maximum points for myself don't worry. the points will be used to help the employees in general.
@HABS: in my defence, I'd say i am a person who favours the notion of specific time as well. i play real time based browser strategy games where perfect timing is critical. I've seen strategies which involve sending four attacks within one second. and even more amazing was the fact that you set you defensive troops to return just after the first attack hits you but before the next three lands and the attack wave generally consists of a heavy army (called a nuke) followed by three lighter armies. this was called sniping or backsniping. all of there required precision to the millisecond. so there's no way I'd do away with seconds and hours.
p.s. this was my attempt at the keyword challenge as i had nothing better to do atm :p

A long GAME RELATED post I get, you may luck upon the proper word but the posts that have nothing to do with the actual game are to me pointless and honestly I have not read any of them, as there is already so much actual game material to wade through.
The whole concept of the psych seems so far fetched, I can't imagine anyone really thinking it was a good idea. I hope the boss is aware that while you can hide behind the memo, the Psych has to be answered 100% truthfully.

Here are the pairings. I explained the game in an earlier post, so please look there for information. Please send your vote of "Friend" or "Foe" to me in a PM with the subject, "WTB 2990 FF." There is no time limit, but if you are fired, your partner will be awarded 50% of the prize, which leads me to:
THE PRIZE! Because there are so many players, it will be 6 points.
Friend/Friend: both players win 3 points.
Friend/Foe: foe wins 6 points.
Foe/Foe: no one wins.

Maybe the boss isn't so far fetched after all. Of course this is taking from a person who constantly travels instead of me.
The number of time you switch time zones is a lot if you travel a lot. So you see an ad for your favorite TV-show then you switch. If your a kid then maybe you forget to apply the time zone change and you miss your favorite TV-show. Silly reasons but maybe that is what the boss was thinking. Also I think the boss likes reading more than math because a kid who likes math likes making things with numbers and removing seconds and minutes would remove half the questions on math counts work sheets.
We are always sometimes monsters.

@Tigerlily - hey! IDK if you'll see this before the round ends but for the friend/foe game, I think our best option would be one of us does friend, the other chooses foe because 1 person with 6 points is stronger than 2 people with 3 points each. In my opinion, I should get the 6 points because with more points to start with, I'd be able to buy more div cards/miracles, etc. to benefit the group - but if you have a problem with this I'm open to suggestions.

As to your point about TV, chance are if you are travelling you won't have time for TV anyway and who says the show will be on where you are? The Prisoner's Dilemma is basically the exact same as the Friend/Foe game, but instead of playing for points, two prisoners are bargaining for prison sentences - http://www.investopedia.com /terms/p/prisoners-dilemma.asp (delete space)
Thanks for being understanding! I definitely think it would be best if I sent in a vote for Foe and you chose Friend - suggest what you want me to do with the points: Div. Cards or Miracles?
So I'm sending in my vote now...

It goes like this:
Two members of a criminal gang are arrested and imprisoned. Each prisoner is in solitary confinement with no means of speaking to or exchanging messages with the other. The police admit they don't have enough evidence to convict the pair on the principal charge. They plan to sentence both to a year in prison on a lesser charge. Simultaneously, the police offer each prisoner a Faustian bargain. If he testifies against his partner, he will go free while the partner will get three years in prison on the main charge. Oh, yes, there is a catch ... If both prisoners testify against each other, both will be sentenced to two years in jail.
Queen stays queen, adios!
Personally I found the earlier iteration easier to read, because that was just upside down but the second one is mirror image or something...
Basically the interesting thing about the Prisoner's Dilemma is that when each individual person looks at their options, it would be better to testify than to keep silent - but both people testifying still produces a worse outcome than both keeping silent.
I find that Prisoner's Dilemma thing very interesting. The minigame sounds fun.
I'm sad I missed the end of the round though. Was going to update the voting list but we had a power outage

I should mention that posts do not count for points after a round ends, and purchases will be postponed until the very moment the next round begins. Also, no one can get the Keyword in between rounds. The only thing that is active right now is the "Friend or Foe?" game.

The friend foe game is more like the hawk dove game. As the hawk dove game if both choose hawk they fight and lose something if they both choose dove they split and if one chooses dove and one chooses hawk the hawk wins. The correlation isn't there for friend for like that.
There is no game that i can find the represents friend for as in hawk dove and the prisoner dilemma if both rat/choose hawk they a better prize at a reduced cost where the better choice is to rat. The choice in friend or foe is similar but they logic is not always better to choose as there is consequence to not choosing to rat in prisoners when here it could mean losing everything. In this game there is no strictly dominated strategy it is a mixed. I will go look up the statically right choice soon.
In the prison you only benefit if both choose to walk while if you choose rat you benefit not matter what. Same with hawk-dove but not in this game
EDIT: I guess it would be wiser to choose foe but that would mean this is a game where points matter and not a team effort but this is so sonic you should have figured out what i chose by now if not well choose the nicest one because it will go a little further splitting points between us.
Redit: Foe weakly dominates friend for both sides meaning it would be wiser to chose foe as 6 is greater than 3 and 0 is equal to 0 therefor you should always chose foe because it weakly dominates friend. Unlike in the prisoners dilemma or hawk-dove in both cases they strictly dominate and not weakly dominate.
Rereedit: a while ago big brother did something exactly like friend foe so there

I didn't think I was denying it "strongly" just letting you into the insight that is me (since we have never played together to my knowledge).
It was just an example, in reality due to my husband's schedule, we rarely eat before 7pm . BUT that being said, if I were in California on vacay for the first few days, 330 would be like 630 to me. So until i adjusted, it would be fine.
My point was just I have everything planned down to the exact minute. Even with 3 kids under the age of 3 I was never late.
In any event, the round is over, so we cannot discuss our votes.
Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.
@HABS I agree with you on the time zone thing, and I don't really think you're the boss (I have no idea at the moment), but seeing that this is the first round, we're not forming a majority, and nitrobasel voted randomly, am I the only one who thinks it's a little suspicious for you to be denying so strongly?

Also isn't 3:30 a little early for dinner?)

It looks like I'm going to try to start around 17:00-ish EDT this round. The Attendance Challenge isn't a "finish first, score highest" type of Challenge, it will be fair for everyone's schedules by default.

LOL - now THIS is what I would change. Daylight Savings Time! It is very confusing when certain areas observe it, and others don't. This means the difference between 2 time zones is not constant.
Also with the change of dates in North America a few years ago, we go into DST earlier than the rest of the world and come out of it later.
On average N. America spends from mid March to Early November in DST which means 7.5 months are spent in DST while only 4.5 months are in "Standard Time" - which makes little sense to me. Shouldn't the longer period be what is known as "Standard" and the lesser period be givne a differnt name? Perhaps Standard Time and "Winter Time"
