Well, actually we're all humans in this game. 8 employees though....Psych Question:
Do you like science?
Answer: Yes, I like biology.
The question would seem to point towards sciencesteven. Given that this is (I believe) our moderator's 1st time as moderator and with only 2 games under her belt, I wonder if the indication was inadvertent or deliberate. Either way, I may as well fall for it; I don't have anything else going this round....
Answer: Yes, I like biology.

Yeah if we had to say that a question points to one person or another, it would certainly seem to be sciencesteven. But that would be a rather blatant hint...
But I find it funny that after the clue, sciencesteven is the first to post, and says something that's somewhat out-of-left-field ("What does your signature mean?"), almost as if to comically say, "Hey, instead of thinking about who might be the boss, let's talk about other things! What does your signature mean??" Lol, not saying anything, it just seemed a little funny.

Potentially. He posted only an hour after the mod approved the memo. Does that tell us anything?

Yeah, I'm gonna go for the clear on steven too, as it's looking like there will be some mandatory firings.

Employees who don't vote are automatically fired. They're called "mandatory firings" because they appear to have been fired by Boss, but Boss actually has no choice in the matter. (Compare with "Optional firings" where Boss actually gets to pick who to fire or not fire.)

We've got plenty of time before the round ends to figure this out.
At the end of the last round, we had four people who didn't state votes:
MindReader22
SaraGrace
sciencesteven
StewieGriffin
Mind & Stewie were mandatories.
sciencesteven & SaraGrace didn't state a vote last round and are still here. I think one of them is the boss. I will join the majority vote for sciencesteven this round, but let's keep an eye on SaraGrace as well.

Just an observation...not saying anything...but,
SaraGrace made 3 or 4 posts toward the beginning of Round 1.
No posts for the rest of Round 1.
No posts in the entirety of Round 2.
No posts in Round 3 until minako says to "keep an eye" on her.
Then all of a sudden she pops up to state her vote.
A little fishy behavior there, but she seemed genuinely innocent by her posts in Round 1. I don't think she's the boss. Maybe she just didn't want to be pointed out like that anymore, and so stated her vote this time so that the same thing wouldn't be said next round.

It's very odd that steven repeats so frequently that he doesn't care if he is voted for. If you're not the boss, it's almost a good thing to be voted for. So why would we expect you to care?

First off, all that quoting has messed up how Braingle looks on my screen. So, please don't do that next round.
Ok, so I understand the reasons for wanting to vote ScienceSteven. At first I thought it was sort of a loose idea (that sam gave us a sort-of hint with the psych question), but now I think steven protests waaay too much. LOL So, I will vote with the majority - voting sciencesteven.
And now saragrace pops up out of nowhere once her name is mentioned. No help for the first 3 rounds, and NOW you show up? If this were Werewolf, I'd definitely think she and steven were both wolves. But I guess they can't both be boss. LOL If it's not steven, then my next guess would be her.

Should be no mandatories this round - excellent. Definitely enough votes to fire if steven is boss. If he isn't, there will be another round - boss can't fire all of us at once.

MINA! You should change your vote! If sciencesteven is not the boss, the boss WILL fire you because you are cleared! The boss always fires cleared players if he/she can. CHANGE YOUR VOTE! It's enough votes for science without you voting for him anyway.
I am aware of that and will take it into consideration.

Pretty much, yes. You have to do it before the round ends (i.e., while Employees can still vote).
Sometimes, Rat may decline to hack the system while "declaring" a vote for Boss. Then, when Boss fires them, it gives the appearance of a clear. One of many ways to game the system!

Actually, no; the Rat learns who voted for whom. Their goal then is to disrupt any building movement towards Boss. Of course, if everybody has actually voted as advertised (and advertised as voted), then Rat doesn't really gain anything except confirmation. Finally, will those of you who nested 200 quotes please edit your posts to delete them? Oh wow, I'm slow, I saw sam's post quoting mine, and thought it was my actual post. So when I saw that "quote" was the only option I could use, I thought too much time had elapsed for me to edit or delete it. But of course, I was looking at sam's post, not mine. So I have now deleted mine. Again sorry about that, just having fun

A that's interesting about the Rat being the one who learns the votes......I still can't quite grasp the strategy about the Rat declining to hack... Why would the Rat decline? So like, the Rat declines so that he can be fired, sacrificing himself for the Boss so that the employees are confused, thinking that the Rat is still out there? Or..? Am I in the ballpark, at all?
^-- my post --^ v-- next person's post --v Just being clear.

Oh, duh, I get it! The Rat states his vote as for the true Boss if there is a near majority. Then the Rat gets fired (only because he didn't hack), so to everyone else it looks like he got fired because he truly did vote and was a Lemming. So then it appears to clear the one who is actually Boss because everyone thinks they got a majority when they really didn't.

That I don't remember; it's been too long. I want to say "no" though; I seem to recall that (nonsensical though it seems) Boss still has to do something to start the next round wherein he is declared toast.
So we are nearing the end

I think a better Rat power than hacking would be the ability to change one player's vote each round.
The Rat learns who voted for whom. Their goal then is to disrupt any building movement towards Boss. Of course, if everybody has actually voted as advertised (and advertised as voted), then Rat doesn't really gain anything except confirmation.
No offense to whoever came up with this game, but that "power" seems pretty useless. Is the game intended to be played without use of a voting list? Like, are we actually supposed to vote in secret, and just hope we convinced people to vote how we think they should? (Like a political election? )I think a better Rat power than hacking would be the ability to change one player's vote each round.
Yay! I'm cleared! (Right?)

Yeah it does seem a little silly. But according to the rules I think it is intended for us to state who we are voting for (as we like, that is).

According to what talanpoe said (although he did say he was not sure), you are not cleared yet, because even if you are the boss, we're waiting for some action to be taken before it tells us "game over."
