Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

Quiet start.
Anyway, voted for Froggy as a safety for now.

Safety vote for HABS.
She lists her location as London, which I definitely see as being cold and rainy. Not really suspecting froggy and Randy (both from California), or chunnie (from Texas, although I don't know much about Texas weather).
Skybet is also listed as from London, so HABS was a random pick between the two.

Well, that rules me out. I've yet to personally experience a winter (I'm actually from Trinidad, an island in the Caribbean.)
I'll go with Skybet then, for now. I'd be okay with a majority on either of the two.

I personally don't like winter, so you wanting to experience one is beyond me, Chunnie. xD
Actually, California has been cold and rainy (it's a big state and not as warm as people believe depending on certain places, even the central/southern valley I live in had been stunningly cold), but not the main reason for my vote. Don't want to clear someone though just because they're from Cali.

safety for changhill
I live in California - the Los Angeles area, and it is raining tonight (we welcome this rain, there has not been much in our area), but it is not cold - I am currently wearing summer shorts, heat is off in the house and it is a bit after 12:30 in the morning. We had ONE week this year where it was really cold...early December... wasn't even "winter" then, most times it was in the 50's & 60's. California is a big state... not all of California had warm weather this year; so like SW, I won't rule someone out for living in the state. If I know someone is from around where I live, unless they have thin blood; I might personally rule them out; but I will not advertise that because I have found too much doubt when others clear someone. You are on your own.
Edit - vote confirmed

The fact the boss said "Cold and rainy. A usual winter for me." is interesting. The entire east coast of N. America was caught in a Porlar Vortex and the temperatures were 10-20 degrees colder than is normal.
Allso picking up on the "IN THE US" portion of the question. Wouldn't expect an experienced mod like Snow to slip up, but how would the players from outside the US have a valid opinion about the winter? They not only would not have been around to experience it, I doubt the cold weather here got much air time in Europe or the Caribbean.

I have a friend who lives in Pacifica (she is originally from here) and by the sounds of it, it is almost as cold there as it is here sometimes. You mention the size pf Cali as a point to the varied weather, Ontario is almost twice its size so our weather varies just as much. Southern Ontario (where I live) is as far south as N. Cali. There are 10+ states (I think I read 14 somewhere) north of where I live.
That being said, though there are 5 provinces east of where I live, we did get all the same weather as the eastern US. This winter was stupid cold.
4Demo, in trying to point the finger and/or clear got 2 locations incorrect, though we both have our proper flag on our profiles.Though I don't really think we can use location to clear anyone as the winter was unusually cold everywhere (colder than is normal for each place anyway), I have compiled a list of what people list as their location.
4demo "Land of the Free" US FLAG
changhill TEXAS - US FLAG
froggygg CALIFONIA - US FLAG
MDCTeasers "I live in my house." US FLAG
RGW4 CALIFORNIA, US FLAG
RomanG417 United States, US FLAG
SilverWitch NO LOCATION LISTED, US FLAG
chunnie NO LOCATION LISTED, TRINIDADIAN flag
HABS2933 London, CANADIAN FLAG
It is interesting that 4Demo "clears" players by where they live, but does not mention her location. This coupled with her "mistakes" on where Chunnie and I both live, seems odd to me.
Voting for 4demo

Including the mention of the U.S. in the question was no mess up.

I sort of agree with HABS. You can't clear players by where they live, however I'm not sure if HABS guessed that 4demo lived in the U.S. because of her location on her profile? Changing my vote to SilverWitch just on a hunch.

No, I surmised she lives in the US based on the presence of the US Flag on her profile. If you read my list it states that 4demos profile says "Land of the Free" which, even without the flag, would indicate that she is in the US.

Sure glad I logged on since I have a busy day planned. For now, safety vote for Randy.
We also had rain yesterday and it is cloudy right now but we really need the rain here. Temps really aren't cold - just a chill in the air right now. BIG change from the high 80s and low 90s we had for a few weeks already, so I'm really enjoying this weather.
Edit: Vote for Randy confirmed.

Does anyone not mind forming a majority or are we going with MoO haha.
The fact that the winter was described as "rainy" and not "snowy", while it's also cold, only can indicate that the cold of the winter was more than for the other seasons of the year. It might, only might, clear those whose weather was so cold that it was snowing, but not for those who live in slightly warmer places where it only gets relatively colder.
I do have whatever this "thin blood" is. I am sensitive to the cold, but I'm not afraid to admit it this game haha.

I normally prefer the winter over the summer as I burn in seconds and the hot humid weather makes me nausiated. However, this winter, I was actually considering a trip south for a couple weeks.

I live in Illinois. Referring to it this past winter as "cold and rainy" would be laughable. That said, the way the boss worded the answer is so vague that it could be true for almost anyone, regardless of where they live.

Skybet
I'll vote for chunnie. If Skybet votes, we should have no mandatories and should be able to clear someone. I'm not opposed to having an actual majority though if anyone has any ideas.
4demo and HABS, I think one of you should change your votes because, as is, the boss could fire both of you and we would have no one cleared.

And I think "rainy" can in fact be used to clear a number of people (at least tentatively) IT doesn't rain here during a normal winter never mind one where the temps dropped as low as -30 to -40 (CELCIUS) on a fairly consistent basis. And I know a lot of the Eastern US was under similar conditions all winter.
I'll change my vote to Roman as he does not appear to have a vote yet.
I don't mind if you guys want to clear me. Though as I am not the boss, it will be a wasted round.

So to answer your question, yes I am fully aware of the fact that Roman had stated a vote for chunnie, but it has nothing to do with anything.
It would be counter productive to vote for a player that I believed had not voted as that player would become a mandatory firing and my vote would be wasted. I would NEVER vote for someone I believed had neglected to vote.
