fun quiz. I do agree that you need an American accent in order to get a couple of those, and you also need the Americanized spellings and shortened versions of some of the cities...al-Khartum...San Franciso de Quito, etc.

Bern 10) This capital is a score for a ringer. Bel grade I had trouble with the last one until I re-thought both ringer and score. Clues 6 and 8 (and 9) could be better written as I've shown to make them more clear and honest. Well done.

Was able to get all but Khartoum and Quito. Got Bern with a bit of a leap in its pronunciation. I like others have never heard it said "burn".
