I got it all except the final answer, i gave up pretty fast. I wished there had been a little hint or something for the final word, turquoise!, lol, I don't know, maybe after lots of scribbling I would've gotten that. Good going, thanks! :D

Great teaser! I actually got this one right. Probably because I do the jumbles in the newspaper. 8) :P :D :) :D

:D Oh Brainster, what a gem. I loved it, and thanks for the history info on what I think is one of the most beautiful stones ever. I had a huge knuckle-buster ring made by a Native American at a National Campvention of NCHA in Colorado many years ago and it just grows more beautiful with age, just like me. Ha ha! Great teaser. I love thw word jumbles. More please.

Good one Brainster!! :D Your directions were very clear, and that's so important in making a good teaser. Plus, the answer, turquoise was a more challenging word to unscramble than some. Good job!

Posted by cherokeerose04/14/06
i also did not get tepid so i did not get the answer...really good job though... :D

Posted by youdumbsavage04/14/06
pretty good teaser, i guess

Note to Thimble - You were the FIRST to comment on this as Teaser-of-the-Day! :D All the comments before yours were added in March. See the categories to the left? You can go there to see teasers early and rate them before they get put up as T-o-D.

Posted by pacem04/14/06
Interesting. You can also unscramble the letters to get "quite sour"

Posted by azbee12304/14/06
woohoo! amazingnesssssss! :D :D :D

Posted by tdbrsun04/14/06
Scrambles are always fun for me. This is a good one!

Posted by LadyBug479104/14/06
That was a great one. I couldn't get "tepid," so I didn't get the answer. But it was still a lot of fun.

Posted by ironduke04/14/06
I really enjoyed this one. Kinda tuff but fun. :P :P :P

Posted by cathym6004/14/06
Good one! :D

Posted by POPS04/14/06
tHAT WAS fun  wISH WE COULD GET MORE LIKE THIS.

Posted by thimblenoggin04/14/06
:D To Iteachkids: Thanks. I guess I got up too early to even notice the dates at the left today. At my age sometimes things we already know are puzzles! :D

Posted by syracuse94504/14/06
nys... n the info of turquoises [i'm SO totali gess'n on spell'n here... ] was rili cool, 2... good job... :)

Posted by michelle361704/14/06
haha i ended up with quite sour instead of turquoise... whoops.

Posted by shawneeo04/14/06
yeah, i noticed the "sour" and "quite" thing too but I didn't think THAT was the answer! LOL! :D

Posted by brainster04/14/06
Thanks for your comments people! I think it's funny how nothing else enters your mind when you already know the answer you want to reach! I never thought of 'quite sour' even once! :D Interesting to see that many of you did!

Posted by brainster04/14/06
Also about the hint, I tried adding one through corrections, as I want to do another theme in my next Word Jumble set, but the correction was not approved. :( So I don't know how to make this easier!

Posted by bluehawk04/14/06
 THIS ONE WAS NOT EXPLAINED VERY WELL. AT LEAST THATS MY THOUGHT.  8)

Posted by RRAMMOHAN05/06/06
I too got 'quite sour'! A good teaser. Sorry for this late response.

Posted by ifarwe9905/07/09
The third word in the series threw me because it can also be rearranged to spell "roset". That obviously did not help me to unscramble the final word :-?

Posted by patiencewithaP05/07/09
Good one! :D

Posted by auntiesis05/07/09
I didn't notice the title, and has a hard time getting the final answer. The rest were easy, but very clever. Good one. :D :D :D

Posted by V_Bapat05/07/09
Surprisingly, I got this one pretty fast, that too without scribbling. Just read it on the phone and bingo!!! Probably because I do these daily morning jumble that comes in the newspaper.

Posted by Shadows05/07/09
This kept me busy for five minutes. I guess I cheated - I used the anagram machine thingy. Still, it was a fun teaser! Good job! By the way, the third word could also be "rotes". "Store" makes more sense.

Posted by Babe05/07/12
Yaaay! Good teaser! Lots of fun working it out! Very enjoyable. :D
