| I thought Ned was the catcher and had not caught the first two pitches and watched them go by. Or he could be the umpire. Either way he can't get "out" on the next pitch because he's not batting. |

| the riddle was sort of confusing.
my friend and i both couldn't figure it out. the wording implied that Ned was at bat. it said, "...get out..." when it should say, "...get AN out..". i suggest revising it for future readers. just a suggestion. other than that one part it was cool! :( :-? 8) |
