Brain Teasers
Password (A Variation)
My password has six letters, but I pressed seven buttons (not including the enter button) and the computer still accepted my password. How is this possible?
Answer
I typed my six letter password, and then I pressed the number (not a letter) in my password to log on.Another acceptable answer would be:
My password had a capital letter in it, causing me to also hit the shift key.

very cool teaser i loved it...it was easy
I said the 7th key was the spacebar key.
Or it could have been a punctuation mark.
Or it could have been the shift key.
Or it could have been the directional key. (You missed a letter)
TOO MANY SOLUTIONS!!!

I thought it was shift or caps! Great one!
I also thought it was shift...
Hehe, I got this one instantly. As soon as I saw 'letter', I knew it must be a number
Nice teaser!
Nice teaser!
I don't like the fact that it had 2 answers, or even more if you look at the above comments.
Still nice job.

I thought you used tab to get to the password... But I get it.
I guessed you pressed the space bar in the middle of your password...but there are MANY other solutions to this...good try though!
Sorry, but there are too many possible answers. Good try, better luck next time.

Great Teaser!!!!
I was thinking exlamation mark or something like that but it was a number.

well, my answer was that the person pressed backspace to erase a letter that the person typed by mistake. That would still be 7 buttons
My first thoughts were that maybe there was a exclamation mark or another punctuation related thing like that.
I was figuring you had to turn on the computer first.
you dont press SHIFT to do a capital you press CAPS LOCK to do a capital anyway nice job
Benjiboo, most people just hit the shift key for upper case. If you used caps-lock then you'd be stuck in upper case until you hit caps-lock a second time. But I agree that there are far too many possible answers here.
i thought it was enter.
there could have also been a space.
the power button! without pressing that one, nothing else would work :p
