well it sounds interesting but not everone puts Fork in his/her mouth everyday.I prefer it would have been Tooth Brush.
Haha good one, loved it!
Eldad - the problem wiht that is that you don't come to a 'toothbrush in the road' and decide which way to go!
Also said toothbrush - thought it meant you decide which side of your mouth you're gonna brush first...

good one!
I was right!
I said toothbrush also. If I came to a fork in the road I doubt I would put it in my mouth. It should hyave stated 'either" ,"or"
Tooth brush works better for me. I sometimes brush up and down other times across so it was not too good a teaser in my opinion!

Kind of a silly teaser, but thanks for posting!
Nice one! I didn't get it. In my defence, I mainly use chopsticks, so I don't use it every day.
After the first line, I thought toothbrush but then of course fork made more sense after reading the rest.
You couldn't put a fork you found in the road in your mouth as that is not the fork it means.
A fork in the road is when the road branches off into two different directions. You know like Dorthy came to in Wizard of Oz when she met the scarecrow.

Needed the hint to get this one.
This riddle was intended as a word duality. A word that has two definitions but remains the same word. I'm sorry you didn't like it, but I have found a lot of riddles in this format and enjoyed them.
