Scaredy Cat
A little girl in the vet's office proudly proclaimed, "My cat likes the vet. He purrs while he's here!" The vet pulled her aside and told her that her cat wasn't any different than the others. Why?
Answer:
Cats not only purr when they are happy or affectionate, but also when they are scared or nervous.
Felines are the only species that can purr, and scientists don't know how they do it.
