Dr. Bishop was a professor of antiquities. As a result, people would bring him artifacts to verify for authenticity. Some people would bring in forgeries to pass off as originals. One month five different people each brought in a manuscript claiming to be a lost work of the ancient world. The manuscripts were: Iter, De Re Militari, On the Festivals of Dionysus, Helicentric, and The Measurement of Earth. It turns out that all five were forgeries. The mistakes were: plagiarism, a posthumous reference, written with a ballpoint pen, made with 19th century paper, and written with 20th century ink. From the clues below determine who brought in the fake, what the title was, where they claimed to have found it, and what error proved it was a counterfeit.

1) The easiest manuscript for Dr. Bishop to expose was found in the college library; it had been written with a ballpoint.
2) The manuscript called On the Festivals of Dionysus was in a private collection.
3) Helicentric, which wasn't brought in by Dane, was dismissed by a posthumous reference, when it referenced Seleucus, a Chaldean of Seleucia, who lived a century after Aristarchus.
4) Clay wasn't the one who brought in the fake claimed to be found in the secret room.
5) Keith's script, which wasn't On the Festivals of Dionysus, was discovered to be plagiarized from the works of Stesimbrotos of Thasos.
6) Terry was sure he had found The Measurement of Earth by Eratosthenes, but he was wrong, and it wasn't because of the 20th century ink.
7) Elijah's script, which didn't have a one word title, claimed to have been found in a church, and wasn't the one using ink from the 20th century.

Somewhat challenging. I looked up the different documents to gain a better understanding, but it was unnecessary. I worked it from the bottom up and got it on my 2nd try. Thanks for the exercise. :D
