The jailer is quite an interesting tale
In the Bible, in the tail
The prisoners could've bailed
But didn't, being jailed.
They obeyed authority
Jailed by majority
Happily singing songs to Him,
And had a crowd, in the dim.
What Christian story is explained, and who is "Happily singing songs"?
Answer:
The Phillipian Jailer is the story, and Paul and Silas are singing songs.
Paul was originally named Saul before he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. Silas is one of the famous companions of Paul. The story is in Acts 16, toward the ending of the Bible, thus "In the tail," The lights were out as they were singing, thus "In the dim." The other prisoners were listening, thus "Had a crowd."
