Above and Below
We're each a valuable member
January to December
Each given a designation
According to our location
For each of us on the top row
There's an equivalent below
Arranged in perfect symmetry
Is how you would like us to be
But this condition is somewhat rare
Depends on your continued care
Will require daily attention
This daily practice you follow
Will prevent our getting hollow
But brushing us off will not rile
It will just encourage our smile
What are we?
