14/15; I was basing my answer of the mountain height question on the fact that we have a "Mt. Pisgah" here in Lane County Oregon and it is just over 1500 ft. I guess "most geologists" weren't consulted when they named it!
Great "hill" to hike, tho, offering views of Eugene, Springfield, and the far off Sisters (TRUE mountains)! Fun quiz! ![]()
A+ woohoo...at least I can rest assured that my textbook knowledge is coming in handy.
Really great quiz! I got all except the hill/mountain one...(a lot of people seem to have done that)....I guessed higher, because here in CA we have REAL mountains. Meaning real big.
A+ !!! Took a guess on the mountain thing. Though I did grow up in an area where the hills around us are actually classified as mountains, so it was a somewhat educated guess, I guess ![]()

13/15 Nice to see I remember more from school than I thought.
I thought the highest peak in TX (which I think is under 2000 ft.) was considered a mountain, so I got that wrong also.
Oh, well. I'm probably remembering wrong.
13/15
Missed the mesa/butte question and the mountain question!
I've never heard of a butte...
WOW! I did way better than I thought I would. I guessed on about half of them and only missed 2. ![]()
