FreemasonryWhat do you know about the Freemasons? |

Really interesting quiz...I knew quite a bit...my grandfather was also a Shriner (you also have to have been a Freemason to be a Shriner)...
Well, I would have gotten 100%, but you counted my answer to #5 wrong. Actually, there are thousands of woman freemasons, so your answer is wrong, not mine!
Your answer in #5 is wrong. There are many women freemasons. See

Actually, the link you left is for thw Honorable Order of American Co-Masonry.
There are many factions of Freemasonry around the world. These answers only count for one faction.
I got a C...guessed on most of them, so I guess getting 6 right isn't too bad! My grandpa was a Freemason, so it was fun to learn a bit about it. ![]()
The answer to #9 is wrong around here. The head of a lodge is called Master. Worshipful Master is considered very bad form. I also agree that there are many female members. This quiz is probably slanted toward one particular group, and probably should have stated this, up front. I would tell you more, but there are penalties for revealing secrets. OOOOOH. Scarey.
I work in a hotel that was an original Mason Lodge built in 1920. I walk by the cornerstone everyday to throw out the trash. I am a fan of "National Treasure", and wonder.

9/10 - I knew more than I thought I would. My husband's grandfather was a Shriner, part of the Freemasons.
