It's been a while since I read the original. So many movies, so many alterations! Still, 18/20 isn't bad! Good job!
Nice quiz, but it only proved how much I've forgotten about this story. I will surely have to read it once again. Thanks for posting. ![]()

An A+. My uncle and I read this every Christmas until I got married. I also watch at least 2 versions of it every year. Between my own and my mom's collection, I think we have every one.
Great quiz and was a lot of fun.
B-. I should have remembered it from proofreading, but I didn't. Rats. Oh well, it was a nice quiz, and lots of fun. Good job!
B+
I really thought I'd do better, but apparently I'm not very good at details.
I love the story, and have seen it several times... ![]()
Great quiz. Not only did I watch the movie with Alistair Sims about EVERY Christmas as a kid. i would read the story as well. Oh those were the days!! ![]()
My favorite version is the one where Rich Little plays ALL the parts as famous people. He plays Bob Cratchit as Johnny Carson, Marley's Ghost is Richard Nixon. My favorite to Mrs. Cratchit, played as Edith bunker. I's a hoot.......if you are old enough to know all the people Rich Little is doing impressions of.
B- for me. I am
since this is my very favorite Christmas story. I usually only watch the 1938 version starring Reginald Owen and since it is only a little over an hour it does leave out the fiancee' and a few other scenes. I like this version since it seems like you are really there in old Londontowne.
19/1...i got number 17 wrong...i like this story...very nice to watch for xmas...HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE... ![]()
A plague upon ALL movie versions of this tale! It should ONLY be read, preferably read aloud, in front of a crackling fireplace, after a love-soaked Christmas Dinner. All of the listeners should have a hot cup of Smoking Bishop in hand and a loved one cuddled near, a Christmas tree, well decorated, somewhere in the room, the scent of evergreens and spices, mingling with the aromas of goose, or turkey, or ham, and all the other good things of Christmas. Then let the old words of Charles Dickens roll out, evoking Victorian London and all the wonder ofChristmas Past, Present, and Future! What a way to lighten the turning of one year to the next!
Thanks, empy, for reminding us of this classic!
Great Quiz
