3/10, I guess thirty years is too long for the brain.

6/10 and I guessed on 3 of the 6 I got right!

Well done, newpony I thought I had made this a tad too easy, but I suppose being a programmer for so long has put me out of touch with those who may not be as familiar with the syntax as I. I assumed that only programmers would take this quiz, but I guess that was a poor assumption on my part. For those that comment, please let us know your programming background

8/10 WOW! I had to dig deeep in my memory for this. But then, BASIC was the first (and pretty much only) computer language I learned, and I still use parts of it to program calculators. I feel so nerdy now It's good to remember where you came from sometimes. Thanks for the reminder.

I got 4/10. Never learnt about computers, most of what I know my oldest kid taught me. I guessed most of the time but I knew two of the answers. Nice quiz Pal.

Good quiz!
BASIC was the first programming language I learned. I still work with computer programs, mostly Java.

My programming experience is limited to Flash animations. I could've gotten 7/10, but I went back and changed three answers. That's 4/10, for those who can't subtract. Nicely written quiz.

10/10 though being a Tech QM helped me out a bit. I thought it was a very informative quiz! Good job!

Awww, perhaps if Sprringe did the quiz you would like it better, TechA. Thanks, duchess.

It was veryinformative. Not too keen on Basic so didn't get 100% on this.

Although not as complex as such languages as FORTRAN, BASIC has a wide array of built in operators such as those for square root, exponents, averages, and others!

Aren't things like square roots and that called functions not operators? Although an average operator is pretty cool.

Good point, james... they are functions. AVG would be a function as well...

Yes indeed if Sprringe did it he would have better and funner questions.
