Interesting quiz. Good questions and explanations. Note - Mount Logan is 6,000 (not 600) meters.
Good quiz. I deliberately spelled Brasil with an "s" because that's the way the people of Brasil spell it. I knew I'd get it "wrong", because there were no alternate spellings...but sometimes you just have to do what is right and make 9/10 instead of 10/10. ![]()
600 meters is right. If Mt. Logan was 6000 meters tall, it would have been the tallest mountain on Earth. And to spell "brazil", you should use Z instead of S, because this is in the English language, not Portugese.
This was a nice quiz. I enjoy geography. Just a note, Mt. Logan is 6050 meters above sea level. Mt Everest is 8850 meters. Google either one to check.
brainglue - I hate to be so blunt, but I have to ask - Are you really that stupid? You either have no clue as to what a meter is, or you don't know how to convert meters to feet. Conversion factor is 1 meter = 3.1 feet (approx.). So, 600 meters is 1,860 ft. (approx.). There are hills in Iowa that are nearly that tall !!!!! As I said, Mount Logan is over 6,000 meters (approx. 18,600 ft.).
Really enjoyed the quiz, I particularly liked your explinations, great job
