I got 9/10 because your first answer is incorrect. It was Keith Moon not Pete Townsend.
I got them all right, but after reading lippone's comment he/she is correct. It was Moonie who made that statement, not Pete.
Good explanations with the answers, I like that in a quiz.
I thought I would fail miserably on this quiz, but I only missed two! ![]()
My 6/10 shows these musicians are not of my era,(except the Beatles, of course!), nor the music my favored genre. I'm guessing the average age-range of quiz-takers was late 30's to early 50's--glad you "youngsters" (although I'm not THAT much older!!) enjoyed the quiz! Let me know when the quiz is about the Smokey Robinson era!! ![]()
Very nice quiz- though Keith made the comment on # 1. Been on quite The Who roll last few days! Played everything in order!
Great quiz--I can't believe I got number 9 wrong!! That was one of the first albums I bought back in 1977-78
I might be born in the 70's but it was Pete Townsend that made the statement about Led Zeppelin not Keith Moon.I read in a magazine where Jimmy Page was ask how Led Zeppelin got it's name.So the two people on here that said it was Keith Moon that said you are wrong. If that was the case we would have gotten number one wrong and I got number one right. ![]()
Sorry I realise that it was Keith. that was my bad. It will be corrected as soon as the quiz masters get my response.
Once again, sorry for the mistake. ![]()
My bad again...After consulting my books on Led Zeppelin. I have found that I WAS correct in my question. Sorry to all that got it wrong. ![]()
