A database is a collection of information, which MAY be in a grid or table. A SPREADSHEET is always in a grid or table.

A+ i am a computer expert so it is no surprise that i got all these right. In fact #2 An organized unit of rows and columns of data which can be analyzed, queried, and reported on is called a database is partially right but technically a unit of rows and columns of data is a spreadsheet. #5 a program you can try before buying could also be called Trialware. ![]()
10/10. I got the database question right because I knew what you meant, but technically it's incorrect. It may be the case in your typical RDBMS, but not in an ODBMS, where data is stored as objects.
Isn't Serivice Pack a Microsoft term? 9/10 here. Wasn't thinking about resgistry in those terms.
hey it took me some time to find this category... this is just what i do! great quiz~
6/10, I thought a database was a collection of information, so I picked grid. I also put trialware instead of shareware.
9/10..
question #6.. i thought it meant for actual mp3 players that you plug in to your computer such as a Zune.
it wasnt clear to me that it meant programs such as WMP.. might want to make it a bit more obvious.

#2 is wrong. As stated above the answer could be spreadsheet or it could (and most accurately would be) called a table or data table. A database is a collection of spreadsheets or tables. A database itself does not contain rows and colums, it contains objects (spreadsheets, tables, etc.) that may or may not have rows and columns. A database MAY contain and index of the items it contains that has rows and columns, but the database itself isn't the object with rows and columns.
