#1   Param visited the state that boasts of being the "rice bowl of India". Hyderabad is the capital of this state. Another interesting fact - Hyderabad has a twin city, Secunderabad.

#2   Param enjoyed the next state on his list, and visited the capital city of Bangalore, known as "the garden city of India". This state also has several temples and monuments related to the Jain religion.

#3   The next state on Param's list is known for Carnatic Music, the dance form of Bharatnatyam and some very ancient and fascinating temple architecture, which has historians puzzled to this day. The capital of this state is Chennai.

#4   This state's tourism board calls the state "God's own country". A predominantly coastal region dotted with coconut trees, this state is also famous for its network of canals, lakes and rivers known as "The Backwaters".

#5   The next state Param visited is nestled in the Himalayas and is landlocked. The famous Kanchenjunga mountain, the third-highest mountain in the world and the highest mountain in India is located here.

#6   Param moved to the northeast now, to another landlocked state. Agriculture is the main occupation in this state, and Agartala is the capital of this state.

#7   The next state on Param's agenda was unique for two reasons. Situated in the north, this state was carved out of Punjab in 1966. To this day, Punjab and this state share the capital of Chandigarh, which has union territory status.

#8   Param left the best for last. He happily moved on to the state renowned for its lush beaches. This state was ruled by the Portuguese in pre-independence times and exhibits Portuguese influence to this day. Panjim is the capital.

#9   What is the political status of Delhi, in which the city of New Delhi, the capital of India is located?

#10   Which of these union territories of India is known for its prison that housed many freedom fighters of India during British rule?
