8/10, not too shabby considering I thought I'd do horrible here. And one I don't even remember hearing about (Hagar). The other, well. . . I should have stuck with my first feeling (ram) instead of switching to cow.
Actually, Abraham's son Ishmael (mother Hagar) is where the Muslims come from. Abraham's son Isaac (mother Sarah) is where the Israelis (Jews/Christians) come from.
I have always loved the stories of "Father Abraham". And to add to Sweet Potato's comment, above me, that is the reason that the problems in the middle east are so historically entrenched.. the sons of Ishmael thinking they are entiled to be heirs of Abraham due to him being the "first born son" and the actual blessing of that position ordained & planned by God to belong to the children of Isaac. Sara's human lack of faith in the promise of God, caused her to interfer in the plan of God, bringing more problems.. Such is our human nature. The awful problems in our world are the result of our own weakeness & choices and not to be placed on God. He gave us the great gift of free will so we could have fellowship with Him. We muck things up when we go our own way contrary to Him. ![]()
No one tell my Daddy but I made a D+ on this one... since he is a preacher I feel a sermon would be delivered...lol ![]()

going to church is not what gets you a good score you are responsible for reading the bible yourself
I knew right off that I would have a problem with this quiz. Not sure what He/She was using. In Genesis 15 God promised Abraham a son. There is nothing about a year! Then Jesus came bodily and told Abraham again (after Sarah gave Hagar to Abram) Ishmael was a teen or early 20's when Isaac was born.
10/10 !! I read 3 chapters from the Bible nearly every night
I've completed the New Testament, in 2 Samuel of the Old Testament. ![]()
10/10...prominent facts about prominent people I think is key to making a good quiz!! ![]()
really enjoyed your quiz, just have one comment about question #9. I was confused because the answer "male sheep" was not one of the answers, I looked in my bible (NIV) and I was correct, it says a male sheep..not sure if a ram and a sheep are the same?
