Gaseous Water
Science brain teasers require understanding of the physical or biological world and the laws that govern it.
Can you show someone gaseous water using apparatus found in a standard kitchen? Explain.
Answer
You can't! Gaseous water is invisible. The steamy mist you see coming out of a boiling kettle or any boiling water is actually liquid water formed when hot gaseous water comes into contact with the cooler air. The liquid water condenses into minute droplets and this is what we see as "steam".
