Jack, of Beanstalk fame, had been given some coloured beans. He shared them out among his friends and they planted them. What colour bean was each given, what colour beanstalk grew from each bean and how tall did they grow?
No beanstalk's colours included the bean's colour from which it grew.
Humpty was impressed with his multi coloured beanstalk (not grown from an orange bean) that grew taller than Bo Peep's beanstalk by at least a metre.
The beanstalk grown from the orange bean grew exactly twice as tall as the bean that Goldilocks planted.
The 2 metre tall beanstalk was grown from either a green or a blue bean.
The red bean grew into a beanstalk containing green.
The green bean grew into a taller beanstalk than the beanstalk grown from the blue bean.
The red and blue spotted beanstalk grew to exactly 2.5metres in height.
Jack Spratt's beanstalk, much to his delight, was multi coloured.
Miss Muffett's beanstalk had red and orange stripes; it did not grow from a yellow bean.

Challenging but fun
Wow! I have to go take some advil after that one!
VERY well done..glad to see a challenging puzzle on here...this is one of those you have to stare at for 12 years before you finally realize the part of one of the clues you were missing out on wihich leads to a chain reaction and the entire thing being solved..i love how this one worked out..great job!
Good one! Took me a while but I got it!
yay~ took a while, but i got it! thx for putting this up

Thank you for your comments - I'm glad you like the puzzle. I find making the puzzles a challenge , but it's fun too!
That was too hard for me.
that was really hard i screwed real bad. o well~
This is the sort of fun and challenging puzzle that got me hooked on logic-grids back in grade school. Good work!
that was so hard! i kept messing up. it took me days to do. keep them coming! they r great!!!
my brain hurts!
I really enjoyed this one. I think it must be hard to come up with a creative, challanging, and fun teaser...Thanks!
great one!! it was fun doin this puzzle
EXCELLENT!!! This one was tough for me -- I had to restart it and give it a second shot to actually get it! Great teaser!
This was a really good one! Everything was written tightly, yet it's not impossible. Accidentally clicked on the grid halfway through, which restarted a new one and erased the old. However, I blazed through the second time. Good stuff!
How fun...had all three brain cells on over-drive...
great teaser, wasn't too easy, but wasn't impossible either (and in keeping with the fairy-tale theme "it was *just* right") - good job!!
Nice puzzle, I had to go through the clues three times to solve. Keep up the good work!
Real good puzzle. After doing over two hundred of these logic grid puzzles in the last twenty seven days, I guess it is logical that this puzzle isn't as hard for me as it seems to be to some other people. But I can't think that I have mastered this type of puzzle because there are probalbly people who come here who could solve this puzzle while I ae reading throught the story for the first time. To show the truth of that I am taking a break from trying to do the puzzle "Race 1" which I have worked on for several hours over several sessions and have not yet cracked. All of which has nothing to do with the fact that this is a very good puzzle which is well written and thought out
excellent written teaser but I'm a little disappointed because I know you can make them much harder
This was another hard logic grid but i still finished it so keep them coming.
There must be enough info as others have correctly solved it but I cannot find everything I need (and, being stubborn, I refuse to look at the answer!). Plus, some people said one clue will make everything fall into place. I have gone over tham slowly and carefully four or five times each and can usually notice if I forgot something mentioned. Not so here. What clue jumps out to some of you?
I did finally solve it but only by guessing on the blue and green beans and then going back and making sure the clues didn't contradict any of my guesses - not a very fun way, in my opinion, to do one of these.
Fun teaser! I thought this one was a little tougher, but then it could be that it's late, and I'm too tired to focus clearly. Had to read through the clues several times and wrack my brain, but I finally got it.
gracieboo: the second and last clues, seemed to be the ones that really helped me when I got stuck. I don't remember the details, but I do remember going "aha!" when I reread those 2. Glad you figured it out though.

it was the second clue that did it for me...
great puzzle!!
great puzzle!!
Aw man, I struggled with this one...kept getting mixed up with a couple of things, but I finally solved it! Challenging and well-written...bravo!
It was a little easy, but there was enough of a challenge to keep it interesting. Nice use of indirect clues. I had fun with this one. Good job and thanks for the teaser!
