All Dead
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
A doorbell rings and in a few minutes the whole family is dead. Why?
Answer
The house contains a family of a husband, a wife, and a 2-year-old boy. The husband was in a car accident and got killed so someone needed to notify the family. The person rings the bell when the wife is washing her son in the bathtub and when the wife heard the doorbell, she ran down the stairs and tripped and died. The water was still on and the baby drowned.
