House Plants

When Sunshine moved into her new house, she visited each of the five local garden stores (one is Rose Bed) and purchased a different houseplant from each store. She used each of the houseplants to brighten up a different room (including the kitchen). In addition, each of the houseplants came in a pot of a different color. From the information provided, determine the houseplant (one is an African Violet) Sunshine bought at each store, the room in which she put each plant, and the color of each plant's pot.

1. The Spider plant came in the red pot. The Spider plant (which is not the one Sunshine put in the bathroom) is not the one Sunshine bought from the Ever Green garden store.

2. Sunshine bought the plant in the orange pot from the Green Thumb plant store. The Patience plant is not the one that came in the blue pot nor the yellow pot.

3. The plant Sunshine put on the porch (which she bought from Blooms Plus) came in either the blue or yellow pot.

4. Sunshine put the plant in the purple pot (which is not the one she bought from the Ever Green garden store) in the den. She bought the Scarborough Lily (which is not the one that came in the blue pot) from the Garden Spot.

5. The Lipstick plant, which Sunshine put in the bedroom, is not the one that came in the blue pot.
