Clues:

1. Betty doesn't like to read and therefore doesn't buy books. She knew that the birthday girl's favorite color was red, so she chose that color to wrap her gift.

2. When the girl who bought the CD went to the store to buy wrapping paper, the only color they had was green.

3. The people invited to the party were Christine, the girl who brought the present that was wrapped in yellow, the girl who bought the necklace, and the girl who used green paper.
