This reminds me of Wheel of Fortune's Before and After category. Only you made it more fun and more difficult by adding a third person. Cool.
Fun type of teaser! Of course, since I live in cave I don't know many famous folk...

Another Good Teaser, I had more trouble figuring this out though. Good Job!

Liked this one. Only problem I had was the last one. His full name is Martin Luther King so I was trying to think of someone's name ending in Luther.
Otherwise another good one

I liked this one as well, but I agree with Peppa. I had a harder time with the last one because I kept trying to come up with something other than Martin Luther since King was not part of the teaser. I totally went down the wrong path on that one. Still loved it....great job!

Actually peppamintp, his name is Martin Luther King Jr., and additionally, he was named after Martin Luther, who was an important figure during the Reformation and went on to found the Lutheran Church.
By the way, I only got three of them.

Eabreu92 is correct. The Martin Luther I was referring to was not Martin Luther King Jr. but Martin Luther the guy that the Lutheran Church was named after.
Just trying to make them a bit harder for all you super smart Braingle members.
Remember there is also a Name Train III out there to check out. Maybe I should work on a new one as well... Of course if any of you guys wanted to do a name train or two I would not mind having the fun of trying to solve them.

A bit of a challenge, but fun!

King Henry??? A bit of a stretch, no?

I liked that
THX

The example doesn't really work, because it's Joan Jett, not Joan Jet.
This was ok.

I didn't know any of these people
It was...okay

It was...okay

Pretty Stupid

All I could think of for Fonda was Peter and Jane. King Peter? King Jane ? What a dummy....,. But I got all the rest of them. Thanks for a good eye opener this A.M.

Good teaser!!

took me a few minutes on the last one, but finally got it! great teaser!

I don't know many of the new popular people like Joan Jett and Joan Li.
I got Matthew Perry Mason and Bruce Lee Majors (oldies!)
I knew all the Fondas Jane, Henry & Peter
I knew Nelson Mandala but decided to look at the answers so I could understand it better since this the first time to do this sort of teaser.
The Fonda one did throw me for a loop.

WELL, I KINDA LIKED THIS ONE.LETS HAVE MORE.
OK. not the best. not most fun. but good
That was tough
but a lot of fun!
I skipped number three because I was looking for an actor "Larry." I took the hint and figured it out. Thanks!

A good teaser, but I have to agree that King Henry is a bit of stretch. It is called Name Train, not name and/or title train.
this one is alot of fun and quite easy except Rick James. so I worked that one from Luther to Rick. great teaser I loved it.

i didnt really get it
lol i do now though!
message me!

lol i do now though!
message me!

loved this but I never heard of Judd Nelson? how about more.

cool

This is great. What fun. I loved it More please

I didn't understand it.
I barely tried, because names of people are not my forté. I did get Martin Luther and Nelson Mandela though.
I disagree with the use of King Henry, all the others are proper first and last names.
I LOVED this one!
Maybe it's because I was able to figure them out!
This was a good one and very clever!
Thanks and more, please!
Happy Sunday, friends!

AROB-need I say more.

i too really enjoyed this teaser, even though I did miss the last one. There are 2 more teasers in this series, would love to see even more, but as the poster has not been online in close to 2 years, that most likely won't be happening. Too bad this one was fun.
Rated it as Fun and fairly hard since I got stuck for quite a time in a thought loop of Larry Bird Parker Fonda trying to seriously convince myself that old "Hank" Fonda had an older brother named Parker that everyone else simply has forgotten.
Nice one.

Nice one.
I knew I was going to fail when I could only think of Winnie Mandela and take forever to have Nelson come to me.
Pop culture isn't my thing - I often fail horribly at pop culture/sports questions in trivia games. I did get Judd Nelson, because who HASN'T seen Breakfast Club a billion times, and I knew Martin Luther and Rick James for the last, but didn't couldn't think of Dean Martin (and living so close to Steubenville, I should really feel ashamed lol).
For the first one I got Lee as the middle name, and am ashamed I didn't get Matthew - as a history buff I should have guess it right out, since Commodore Perry was the guy that got Japan out of their shell and opened up trade with the West.
Good teaser, but wow did I crash and burn.

I got them all but #5, but did not care for this teaser too much. Sorry!

Got most of them, couldn't get from Larry to Fonda. Tried working backward but couldn't figure out a name that would go between Larry-Henry or Larry-Jane.
I settled on Rick for #5 only because it fit the rest of the puzzle (again started at the end). However, I have no idea who Rick James is.

I liked this puzzle. Even though I had done it previously, it seemed new to me. Thanks for posting!

Got hung up on #3 Larry(King), #5 Rick (Nelson) Thanx to Google I figured out #3 and had to cheat and look at answer to #5. Still don't know who Rick James is. #'s 1,2, & 4 were a piece of cake.

This is nearly impossible for people who don't know famous people, specifically children or teens.
Good teaser, guessed on #2 and got it right. Other than that, way too hard for a little kid
This one took me a long time, even had to go to the hint. I really enjoyed it though. Someone pointed out that there are more, I am going to look for them. Hopefully, someone can come up with one's more suitable to the younger Braingle solvers, as they seem to enjoy the concept, but need more current references.

This is original and creative. It's probably very difficult for many people. That's okay. I like a mix. I got three of the five. I short circuited on the last one with "Rick Nelson Mandela". I didn't notice the multiple brackets. Oops!
I think this should be reclassified as a trivia puzzle.
I'm checking out the others in the series as well. Interesting format. I like it a lot.
