It took me a while
Static is a crackle heard over a radio. It is not static electricity. I give up trying to solve these teasers when I find the clues are incorrect.

"Static" Electricity (as opposed to regular Electricity), is supposed to deal with Electricity formed by non-moving charges, whereas Electricity usuall results from moving charges. This is debatable though.
