Ahhh, my favorite number.
Nice, Jak! I am a math wiz, but when I always know the answer, I forget it when faced with a teaser.

Nice research, eeliott!
I am from Kansas City, MO
I do not understand it???
pi is a sign in math that goes on and on.. and that is the first few numbers in it.... I like it =P
the number is also kind of special because the first digit aftert the area code is a 1 -- making it a non-US number, but represented in typical US phone format. ;-)
Wow, how did I not get that?
I tried picking up a phone, and I thought maybe because it drew out a pattern when dialing it (on a cordless).
