Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
Mrs. McClutski went to buy some glue to fix the handle on her husband's favorite teacup. Being a member of SA (Shoppers Anonymous), she was always careful not to overspend. The store clerk was very helpful and handed her 2 tubes of glue. "Oh, thank you dear, but I only need one tube. It's a small teacup," exclaimed Mrs. McClutski, and she left the store before the clerk could try to sell her another tube. When she got home, she read the label, "apply and hold for 30 seconds," but no matter how many times she tried, the glue wouldn't hold. The glue was specifically for that application. She followed the instructions perfectly, yet it wouldn't work.

Answer
The glue was a 2-part epoxy that requires both tubes to be mixed together for the glue to hold. The first part of the instructions explaining that was on the tube she left at the store.Hide Answer Show Answer

The old forgot to mix the two part glue trick eh?? I didn't get stuck on this one at all!
I thought she applied the glue to the broken handle, held it in her hand for 30 seconds, and then after the glue dried she tried to stick it back on the cup. She followed the instructions, but on an idiots level is what I thought she did. (ha ha ha)
Im happy I figure it out!! Good one!
This is ridiculous. They sell the two part epoxy as one package, never separate.
