One Ice Cream for Two?
Tom and Tina both have some money. Because it is a hot day, they decide to buy an ice cream for each of them. But then they realize they both don't have enough money. Tom needs 24 cents more for his ice cream, and Tina needs two cents more to buy one. Now they decide to buy one ice cream together, but still they don't have enough money to do so.
What does one ice cream cost?

Answer
25 cents.Both possess some money. Tina needs two more cents, and because it is still not enough with Tom's money to buy one ice cream, Tom only has one cent. Therefore one ice cream costs 25 cents.

If I were selling the ice-cream, I'd let the poor kids have it for 24 cents. But then how are they going to share it? Is Tina going to insist on having 23 licks to every 1 of Tom's?

Good teaser and logical answer. Glad to see reasoning rather than a pile of algebra.
But if they dont have enough money then why does it say they had money at the start? Unless they bought other stuff inbetween, lol.
