Ah...good job.

That was good...and easy!

excellent teaser!

Thank you. Glad you liked it. It is somewhat easy if you think about it. It is surprising, though, how many people I have stumped with this one.

FYI to those looking. They phrasing of my hint and my answer was changed by the editors. So if it doesn't make sense, I apologize. Thank you in any case for reviewing my teasers.

the teaser is excellent ... the hint gave it away though

Good one! I thought 45, as in 1 + 4 times 11. Anyway, good teaser!

Thanks.

hmm.. i c

i dont quite understand... fishmed can you post the original one please?

Check your personal messages as I did not want to post it where others might see it in these comments.

I tried to send you a personal email, but system said you did not exist. Not sure why, but if Jake can figure it out, I'll get you a note with my original answer.

I thought it was 48 but now it was 4 twelves I will know that for next time

nice/bad 1

I caught the tricky wording and got the answer right away.

i went with twelve - no matter how many times you add 1 to 11 you still get 12 - maybe the "four twelves" answer makes slightly more sense in the context of the original phrasing

I thought it was 45. 1 +11 four times. 11 four times= 44,+ 1 = 45

I thought the answer would be 111,111,111,111....

Add 1 and 11, so I just put them one beside the other and "added" them in a tricky way (Kind of like adding "food" to "fish" to make "fishfood"), and then I did it 4 more times.

I did think of four 12's for a moment...but then I was like, 'it can't be.' Oh well, it seems like I was wrong.
